Kiefer went to z Hospital to visit Marian, his mom.
As he enters the room, he found Marian sitting beside the window staring a nowhere.
His heart suddenly aches. He's still not used seeing Marian in her condition. She's always aloof and gone crazy for a long time. Kiefer wants to cry but resist it and wore a smile. He thinks that he need to be strong for her mother.

Hi mom (smiles and kiss on her cheeks)

I brought you some apples.
(puts the bag of apple at the side table of the hospital bed)
He peels an apple and slices it into pieces
