Pov: Today marks four years. Four years since Jungkook and I became… partners, bound by a contract but still… my heart can’t help but want more.
He clutches a small gift box wrapped in silver paper, something he prepared weeks ago for this day. A faint smile forms on his lips as he imagines the evening ahead.

Maybe this year will be different. Maybe… he’ll finally show me that I matter to him. Even just a small gesture, a hint of warmth… it would mean the world.
He looks down at his phone, checking the time. He remembers how he spent countless nights planning a surprise of his own, wanting to make this anniversary special. A soft sigh escapes him, his mind filled with scenarios of how Jungkook might surprise him back.

Scene opens with Taehyung stepping into the grand lobby of Julia Industries. The building is bustling with activity, employees greeting him politely as he makes his way to the elevator. His heart races with excitement, holding tightly to the small gift he prepared for Jungkook.
He presses the elevator button, watching as the numbers tick down. Just as the doors open, a familiar voice calls out his name.
Taehyung turns to see a striking woman approaching him. It’s Kim Geong-mi, one of Jungkook’s closest friends and a high-ranking Alpha executive at Julia Industries. Her confident strides and sharp gaze always make her presence impossible to ignore.

(smiling warmly) “I didn’t expect to see you here this early. Are you here for Jungkook?”
Taehyung nods, a polite smile on his face, though he can’t help but feel a slight pang of discomfort. Geong-mi has always been close to Jungkook, and while she’s never been openly unkind to him, he can sense her underlying skepticism about their relationship.

“Yes, it’s… a special day, so I thought I’d come by.”
Geong-mi raises an eyebrow, catching on quickly.

“Ah, the anniversary. Four years already, huh?” (chuckles) “Time flies. I’ll admit, I’m surprised you’re still putting in so much effort, Taehyung.”
Taehyung forces a small smile, feeling his confidence waver slightly.

“Well, anniversaries are special… I want to make today memorable.”
Geong-mi’s gaze softens just a bit as she regards him, though her expression remains guarded.

“You know, Taehyung, Jungkook’s… a complicated person. He doesn’t open up easily, even to those he’s known forever. Just… don’t expect too much, alright?”
Taehyung’s heart sinks slightly at her words, but he nods politely, determined not to let anything dampen his mood. He gives her a small, respectful bow.

“Thank you for the advice, Geong-mi. I’ll keep it in mind.”
Geong-mi watches him for a moment, a hint of something unreadable in her gaze, before she gives him a slight nod and heads off in the opposite direction.

The elevator ascends, carrying him closer to Jungkook and the day he’s waited so long for.
