Today is my wedding...

🍁 My parents have been trying for a long time to get me married, finally today is the day.

🔹 I heard that my would be husband works in a school as a teacher, he is educated, religious, intelligent. I don't know why such a man liked me.

🔸 He didn't see me face to face, he liked me after seeing my picture, I didn't see him either, my father liked & chose him for me after seeing him.

▪️ They came and fixed a date for marriage, even on that day no one demand to see me, Mom was happy with that! My mother is afraid that if my in laws sees me, then they will break the marriage!

▪️ In past Many have come for marriage to see me before.

I had to sit in front of them wearing sari, bangles, face paint and Makeup!

I had to answer all their questions.For example,

Can I cook? Do I know housework?I had to bow my head in front of them.

I had to show them my hair, hands and feet!

Later, I had to take off the saree and showed them my body if everything is okay, like a product before buying.

...🔹  I had to bare this quietly after-all im not beautiful but a black colour person!🔹...

They came and ate the sweets, fruits and said they would answer later, if they like me as a bride candidate's or not,

And no one came back! They never even contact.

🎋 There is no place for a black girl in this society.

My grandmother has been telling me to use fairing cream for a long time, but I don't like it!

🍂 Why do I have to be fair for anyone! I am educated, I know all housework, can draw, sing.

Is these qualities are nothing? only because I am black? no one will love me?!

... ☘️ All my friends got married one by one....

... Good house, good husband! But I was not jealous, because I'm use to heard from my childhood that a good husband and a good house are not for black girls....

Listening to it has taken the form of faith!

Why would anyone come to me when there are so many beauties around?

🍁 Do I have the right to dream?! I don't know fashion, I can't dress! in a modern way.

One day,

I decorated both my lips with red color! I used a red lipstick.

...My cousin's laughed at me a lot that day!😢 .........

I was in pain, but I couldn’t cry, because I was afraid that the eyes shadows would ruin, and I'll look like ghosts! I'll be humiliated even more.

🌿 I don't know how many nights my mother cried for this little fat and dark colour girl of hers,( for me).

After all she is my Mom, she can't abounded me!

My grandmother sometimes complains that why don't you die! you witch.

If you died, I would pray to god specially.

I Have never loved anyone,

No one has ever told me that he loves me!

🔹 Who will love a person like me?!

🎋 However, I really want someone to come into my life!   Hug me passionately and say "I love you!"

Ha ha ha 😅💔 What an unrealistic dream, where is "Banalata Sen" and where am I a fat ugly woman.

🌿I am sitting in my wedding  dress, fortunately I didn’t had to wear a red saree!🌿

Or everyone would have thought that the bride is an ugly witch!💔😅😢

🔹 Some relatives advised me to go to the parlor and get makeup done to at least look presentable, 💔

but I didn't want to!😢

Dress up for a day?! It Won't change anything.

If I wash my face in the morning, I will come out to be that black girl, better than that, save my father some money!💔😅

🔸I liked the sari very much, which one am wearing. Sky blue is my favourite colour. 🥰

It's feel like that I am sitting in the sky!🥰

🌿 Finally my marriage is over!🌿

I saw the joy in everyone's eyes, the joy of saying goodbye! to the ugly witch.😅💔

Suddenly,

I was startled by the sound of a Soft coughing, someone has entered the room, I was put on such a big veil that I couldn't see anything.

🔹🔸🔹 Before coming to my father-in-law's house my aunt Advised me to greet my husband by touching his feet as soon as he entered the room.

She said it’s a tradition.

But now I can't get out of bed because of fear.

After a while my husband slowly says:

...🍁. "I have always dreamed that I will spend the first night with my wife sitting at night watching the moon and talking,,,,today is a Full moon, will you be my partner?"🍁...

🎋 "I heard that you can sing many beautiful songs? I will listen to many songs in your voice today!"🎋

"Remember tonight, take time to remember tonight's memory!" ❤️🤍

"I could not afford to buy much for you, if you allow me i would like to put on it to your hand what I bought for you?"🤍❤️

🍀After i nodded my head in agreement he approached me with the gifts he bought for me.☘️

Holding my hands and saying, I found this color bangle after a lot of searching. 🥰❤️

I was mesmerized as if he put it in my hand a handful of sky!😳🥰❤️🥲😍😵‍💫
