Love At Café

Chapter 1.Love and Cafe.

The rain lashed against the cafe windows, mirroring the storm brewing within Elias. He clutched his lukewarm coffee, the bitter taste a reflection of his mood. The cafe, usually a haven of warm light and the comforting aroma of roasted beans, felt suffocating tonight. It was the scent of burnt sugar, the lingering ghost of Lucian, that clung to the air, making his chest ache.

Lucian, with his raven hair and eyes like stormy seas, had been a whirlwind of dark allure, a forbidden pleasure Elias had craved and devoured. Their stolen moments in the backroom of the cafe, tucked away from the prying eyes of the world, had been a symphony of whispered secrets and desperate touches. Lucian, a man of shadows, a whispered rumour in the city's underbelly, had pulled Elias into a world of dangerous desires.

But Lucian, like the unpredictable weather, had shifted, his moods as stormy as the rain outside. His promises, once whispered like a lover's song, turned sharp and cold. His touches, once tender, became possessive, a brand rather than a caress. The cafe, once their sanctuary of love, now felt tainted, a constant reminder of the love that had soured, the promises that had shattered.

Elias watched the flickering candlelight dance on the rain-streaked windows, a fragile imitation of the warmth he longed for. He missed the way Lucian's eyes had held him captive, the way his touch had set his skin on fire. But he also remembered the fear that had begun to creep into those stolen moments, the cruel twist of a smile that hinted at a darkness Elias couldn't fathom.

The cafe door chimed, a sharp, unwelcome sound that pierced through his thoughts. A figure stepped in, silhouetted against the stormy night. It was Lucian. He looked tired, a dark smudge under his eyes, but his gaze held the same hypnotic intensity that had ensnared Elias from the start.

"Elias," he said, his voice a low rumble. "I need you."

Elias's heart pounded in his chest, a frantic drum against his ribs. The old desires, the forbidden longing, stirred within him, a dangerous tide threatening to pull him under. But somewhere deep inside, a flicker of defiance ignited. He wouldn't be a puppet in Lucian's game any longer.

"No," Elias said, his voice barely a whisper, yet it held a newfound strength. "You've taken enough."

Lucian's expression hardened, the storm in his eyes intensifying. But before he could respond, Elias rose, his resolve hardening with each step. He walked towards the door, the rain welcoming him as he stepped into the night, leaving the cafe, and the ghost of his lost love, behind.

The rain washed over him, cleansing him of the lingering scent of burnt sugar and the bitter taste of a love that had turned toxic. He walked forward, into the storm, towards a future free from the shadows of a dangerous, alluring obsession, ready to find his own light in the darkness.

You must think how Elias's suffering started...how his normal life was interrupted by something mysterious yet dangerous, passionate yet toxic. Well, Elias is a boy in love. Love which can kill.Love to die for.Lucian, love of Elias.

Chapter 2. Fascinating

The scent of old books and cinnamon clung to Elias like a comforting shroud. His life, a tapestry woven with the threads of routine, was comforting, predictable. He worked at the local bookstore, his days filled with the gentle rustle of turning pages and the hushed whispers of stories past. Evenings were spent curled up with a novel, a steaming mug of coffee his constant companion. He was content, a quiet observer in the bustling world around him, his heart a tranquil garden untouched by the storms of passion.

Then Lucian arrived.

It was a Tuesday afternoon, the sun slanting through the bookstore window, painting the dusty shelves in a warm, golden light. Elias was shelving a new delivery of poetry anthologies when he heard a voice, a low rumble that vibrated through the air like a distant thunderclap.

"Excuse me," the voice said, and Elias, startled, turned to see a man standing near the counter, his gaze intense, like burning coals. His features were sharp, sculpted, with a hint of something predatory in their angles. Dark, unruly hair framed a face that seemed both beautiful and unsettling.

Lucian. That was the name he gave, his lips curving into a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. A smile that sent a shiver down Elias's spine, a prickle of unease he couldn't quite explain.

Lucian didn't browse like the other customers. He didn't ask for recommendations or search for particular titles. He simply stood there, observing Elias with an unnerving intensity. The air around him seemed to thicken, charged with a strange energy that Elias found both fascinating and terrifying.

He lingered long after the other customers had left, his presence a subtle yet undeniable disruption to Elias's usual tranquility. He lingered, his gaze never leaving Elias, and in that gaze, Elias saw something dark, something that hinted at a world far removed from his own quiet existence.

Days turned into weeks, and Lucian became a regular fixture at the bookstore. He would appear at the most unexpected times and, with a mere glance, disrupt Elias's carefully constructed routines. His visits were always brief, but their impact was profound. Elias found himself drawn to Lucian, his fascination a strange and dangerous mix of curiosity and fear.

Lucian's words were like poetry, dark and seductive, whispering promises of a world Elias could only dream of. Yet, every touch, every look held a hint of danger, a chilling reminder that there was a darkness lurking beneath the surface of Lucian's captivating charm.

Elias's carefully cultivated world was crumbling. The quiet comfort of his life was being replaced by a thrilling, terrifying uncertainty. He was falling, inexorably, into a world where shadows danced and secrets whispered, a world ruled by Lucian, a man who promised him both ecstasy and oblivion.

And Elias, despite the fear that gnawed at his heart, found himself eagerly anticipating the next time their paths would cross.

Elias started observing Lucian. The time he would visit. The way he spoke, his accent, his expressions, his clothes, the books which he held, his cologne, his eyes.Elias was drawn to him and Elias being single from the very start of his life never knew the existence of a feeling like this. The want and desire, mixed with fear and nervousness, yet he desperately wanted to know more about this mysterious man who he had never seen before until he started regularly visiting the bookstore. One thing which Elias never failed to notice is that Lucian always came from the Cafe opposite to the bookstore. Cafe Rutham. He has never been there but now he was curious to go there. Maybe the coffee or dessert is Lucian's taste.

Chapter 3.Visit.

Elias, finally thinking it through, decided to pay a visit to this intriguing café.After he was done with his work he grabbed his coat and left the bookstore and was greeted by a strong gust of wind. He rushed to put on his coat and moved across the road. Today, Lucian did not visit. This act was chewing Elias out. So he decided to check if Lucian is still sitting in Café.By now Elias has made many theories regarding who Lucian might be. Lucian has a heavy accent, Which Elias has never heard. But by the way Lucian dresses, he looks like a professor teaching history, but with his aura it's difficult to fathom anything.

In the tenebrous tapestry of shadows, where love and desire danced amidst twisted secrets, a haven emerged—a sanctuary of indulgence called Rutham. Nestled within the labyrinthine streets of the cursed town of Hollowstone, this enigmatic café whispered promises of forbidden pleasures and stolen glances.

Its façade was a captivating blend of Gothic elegance and arcane charm. Jagged spires reached towards the starless sky, casting an eerie glow upon the cobblestone path leading to its entrance. The heavy wooden door creaked open with an ominous groan, inviting patrons into a realm of tantalizing darkness.

Inside, the air was dense with the scent of roasting coffee and exotic spices. Dim candlelight flickered, casting intricate shadows on the walls adorned with cryptic symbols. Plush velvet sofas and mahogany tables hinted at opulence, while the soft hum of conversation created an atmosphere of hushed intimacy.

Behind the obsidian-black counter stood the enigmatic barista, his piercing blue eyes holding secrets that could shatter souls. With a languid grace, he prepared each cup of brew, infused with a touch of magic known only to him. The aroma of the coffee swirled through the air, intoxicating patrons with its hypnotic allure. Elias's mind is washed over with a familiar feeling. The fear. Lucian smelled like heavy musk mixed with coffee. Now he knows the reason. The vibe here was off and eerie for some reason.

In this clandestine café, love found its darkest expression. Stolen glances ignited forbidden passions, and whispered promises echoed through the flickering candlelight. Lovers sought solace in the shadowy corners, their hearts beating to the rhythm of secrets shared only within Rutham's hallowed walls.

But beneath the veneer of indulgence, a sinister undercurrent flowed. Darkness lurked within the shadows, its tendrils reaching out to ensnare those who dared to delve too deeply into the mysteries of this enigmatic haven. And as the night wore on, the true nature of Rutham was revealed—a place where love, desire, and danger intertwined in a perilous dance of darkness.

Elias looked around, but there was no sign of Lucian. Disappointed he turned and met with something hard. He looked up and saw the man he was looking for. Lucian gave him a weird look before pulling him out of the café roughly.

"What were you doing there?!" Lucian said in a hard voice. "I-I-I just wanted to visit the café. It looked nice from outside and even yo-" Elias stopped when he saw the look on Lucian's face. Lucian looked angry, and he was looking around as if searching for someone. "What is it?" Elias said in a low voice.

" You.Are.Go Going.home.Now."Lucian emphasized every word and pulled a taxi and roughly pushed Elias inside.

Elias was beyond confused. He is now back home, recalling the incident. His mind filled with questions. Why did Lucian do that? Why was he so afraid and angry? With that question Elias had a sleepless night.
