CHAPTER 1: THE PERFECT CRIME - 1
SEPTEMBER 30TH 2022
It was an unusually clear night, with the moon casting a silver glow over the bustling city of Seoul. In the distance, the lights of the city shimmered like a sea of stars, but on the outskirts, it was a different world. A looming, unconstructed building stood silent and abandoned, its dark silhouette blending into the quiet night.
The cold breeze whistled through its skeletal structure as if carrying secrets from the shadows. Parked in front of the building, an ambulance sat idle, its engine purring softly, waiting. Six masked men, clad in all black, moved swiftly toward it, their heavy luggages weighing them down. Their mission was clear, and their target lay across the road—the Seoul National ATM Bank.
The bank had just been refilled with cash. Perfect timing. The group of six had planned everything down to the last second. Two of the men broke into the bank with practiced ease, disabling what they could of the security system. But as they loaded the crisp ₹300 crore ($36 million) into their luggages, time slipped faster than they'd anticipated. The bank alarm pierced the cold night air, echoing through the streets like a predator's cry. The men scrambled, adrenaline pumping, their hearts pounding in their ears. Without a word, they rushed out, their hands tight around the handles of their bags.
The remaining five jumped into the ambulance, while the sixth man slid into the driver's seat. Tires screeched against the pavement as they sped off into the night. The police were already on their tail, sirens wailing in pursuit. The race was on. The six men, adrenaline-fueled, were ecstatic. "We did it!" one shouted over the roar of the engine. "No one can catch us!" another added, their cheers filling the tight space of the ambulance. But their victory was short-lived. The police were fast, and closing in.
The driver's eyes flicked up to the rearview mirror, his face hidden beneath his mask, calm amidst the chaos. His hands gripped the wheel tighter as he weaved through the winding streets. The sirens grew louder, but the police's trail was soon lost. They had done it. They were free. The men in the back cheered louder, their relief tangible, their victory undeniable. But something shifted.
Without warning, the ambulance screeched to a stop in the middle of a secluded road, far from the city's eyes. Silence replaced the chaos. Before any of the men in the back could ask what was happening, the driver reached into his jacket. In a swift, practiced motion, he pulled out a gun and turned toward his unsuspecting crew. His eyes gleamed with a cold, deadly intent as he smirked, almost amused by their confusion.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sound of gunfire ripped through the air. The men barely had time to react as their lives were snuffed out one by one. Blood splattered the walls of the ambulance, their cheers replaced with gasps and the deafening silence of death. The driver, now alone, let out a low, dark laugh. He glanced at the pile of bodies in the back and shook his head.
"Idiots," he muttered, stepping out of the ambulance. In the moonlight, his smirk twisted into something darker, something sinister. From the back of the vehicle, he retrieved a paint bucket filled with black paint. With precise strokes, he began to cover the white of the ambulance, erasing its identity. No longer an emergency vehicle—it was now his getaway car.
Once finished, he took a deep breath, staring at the gleaming black vehicle, now fully transformed. He moved toward the bags stuffed with cash, his laughter growing louder and crazier with each passing second. Hugging the luggages tightly, his voice dropped into a chilling tone.
"I never lose a race, motherfuckers."
The moon bore witness to his madness, casting long shadows over the bloodstained scene. And as the night deepened, the city remained unaware of the monster it had birthed—a man who killed not for survival, but for the thrill.

CHAPTER 2: THE PERFECT CRIME - 2
Once the killer finished painting the ambulance black, he stood back, admiring his work. The vehicle, once a symbol of emergency and aid, was now a shadow—just like him. With a satisfied grin, he wiped the remaining paint from his hands, then slipped the gun back into his jacket, the cold metal still warm from its deadly work. In the back, the luggages stuffed with ₹300 crore ($36 million) in cash sat like trophies of his conquest. He grabbed the handles and walked away from the crime scene with a slow, deliberate swagger.
The cold breeze ruffled his hair, but he didn't care. His heart was light, almost euphoric. As he walked through the desolate streets, the moonlight shining down on him, his laughter echoed into the night. It wasn't the joyful laughter of someone who just won the lottery—it was deeper, darker, laced with madness. The sound of someone who had tasted freedom for the first time in years.
"Finally," he whispered to himself\,*** "I'm free."***
For so long, he'd been trapped, chained by fate, by his circumstances. But now, with five lives snuffed out behind him and ₹300 crore in his possession, he could fly. He could be a bird, free from its cage, soaring to heights no one could imagine. This was the end. The end of everything that had held him back.
Or was it?
As his steps echoed through the empty street, something felt off, but he couldn't place it. He shook his head, pushing the thought away. No, this is my victory, he told himself. There's no turning back now. The path was clear, the consequences wiped clean with the blood of his accomplices. Or so he thought.
Poor fool. He didn't realize that every end was just the beginning of a new start. A fresh page in the story he thought he had written himself. Fate had other plans for him, ones he hadn't anticipated. Because no one, no matter how meticulous or ruthless, could escape the long arm of karma. And it was coming for him. Sooner than he could ever imagine.
The killer laughed again, louder this time, but his laughter didn't mask the unease creeping into the back of his mind. Was it really over? Or was something lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike back?
Let's see where fate leads him, shall we?
The questions lingered in the air like a whisper, mocking him in the silence of the night.
Who is this killer?
Why would he kill the other men?
What was his motive?
Does anyone know the real reason behind his actions?
What do you think, dear reader?
The man walked further into the darkness, oblivious to the consequences awaiting him. But you, dear reader, know better. You can sense it, can't you? This is not the end—it's merely the start of a much bigger game. So, as you follow the killer's journey, I ask you to think: Who is he really, and why did he do it? What lies beneath his twisted smile?

CHAPTER 3: THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM FT.SOPE
AFTER TWO YEARS - 2024
Two years have passed blissfully since the brutal incident that rocked Seoul to its core. It's the 10th of October, 2024—a beautiful day for the buzzing city. The streets are alive with energy as people go about their daily routines. Workers are hurrying to their jobs, shopkeepers opening their stores, and parents are getting their little ones ready for school, as their children grumble about their strict teachers. The city hums with life, an eventful day for all—except for six people who have lost their loved ones in that tragic event two years ago.
In the heart of Seoul, nestled in a quiet, peaceful town, the sound of loud music spills out of a small, colorful studio with a name board that reads Hopeworld. Peering through the window, we find a room filled with happy, giggling children, dancing joyfully to the beat blasting from a large speaker. The vibrant energy inside the studio is infectious, but it's not the children who catch our attention—it's the two men entering the dance hall.
The first man is all charm and brightness, with a radiant smile that could outshine the sun. This is Jung Hoseok, the "sunshine" half of the Sope couple. Behind him, trailing with a lazy, slightly grumpy expression, is his husband, Min Yoongi, the "grumpy cat." Yoongi leans his head on Hoseok's shoulder\, grumbling softly. ***"Why did you wake me up so early to deal with these little devils? I need my precious sleep\," ***he whines\, his voice low and raspy.
Hoseok, ever the affectionate one, coos at his husband, pressing soft, apologetic kisses all over Yoongi's face. "Sorry, Yoonie," he murmurs sweetly, "but you know these little devils love you as much as I do." Yoongi, still pretending to be annoyed, lets out a small, content sigh as the children run toward them, their excited giggles filling the room.
This is their life now. A life they've built from the ashes of their past, a routine that brings them joy and a sense of belonging after a great loss. Every day they are reminded of how precious love is, even in its smallest forms. For now, the couple's world is their dance studio and these "little devils" who bring them laughter and light.
The dance class goes on, and soon, the studio is filled with laughter and music, Yoongi's grumbles fading away as he joins Hoseok in teaching the kids their moves. Hours pass, and by the time the lesson ends, both men are utterly exhausted, their bones aching from the effort, but their hearts full. The children wave goodbye, their happy faces a reminder of why Hoseok and Yoongi love their work so much. Finally, the couple plops down on the couch, snuggling into each other's warmth. It's their moment of peace, just the two of them in their cozy little bubble.
But the peaceful silence is soon interrupted by the sound of the doorbell ringing.
Yoongi lets out a low growl, wrapping himself tighter around Hoseok."Who's disturbing our cuddle time, Hoba?"he whines, his voice muffled as he buries his face in Hoseok's chest. Hoseok laughs, his heart feeling lighter than ever. "I'll check, Yoonie, then I'll come back and give you all the cuddles you want," he says, pressing a quick kiss to Yoongi's forehead before untangling himself and heading for the door.
Yoongi grumbles under his breath as he watches his sunshine leave, but a soft blush spreads across his cheeks. He rolls over on the couch, already missing Hoseok's warmth. "Hurry up, Hoba~," he mumbles, sinking deeper into the cushions.
At the door, Hoseok opens it with a smile to find a delivery man standing on the other side. "Good morning, sir," the delivery man greets him politely."I have a voucher for you and your husband. Please sign here."
Hoseok furrows his brows in confusion. A voucher? Who would send them a voucher? He shrugs it off, signing for the parcel and thanking the delivery man before returning inside. As he steps back into the studio, Yoongi is already making grabby hands toward him, demanding to resume their cuddling session.
Hoseok chuckles and drops down beside him, the mysterious voucher in hand. "Looks like someone sent us a voucher," Hoseok says, holding it up.
"A voucher?" Yoongi blinks, sitting up slightly, curiosity now replacing his usual laziness. "Who would send us that?"
"I don't know, but let's open it and see," Hoseok replies, and together, they carefully open the envelope.
Inside is a piece of paper, neatly folded. Hoseok and Yoongi both lean in, eyes narrowing as they read the words on the voucher. As they read, their expressions shift—confusion, then shock, then disbelief.
The voucher slips from Hoseok's hands, falling silently onto the floor.
"What... What is this?" Yoongi whispers, his voice tight with dread.
Who sent this?
Why them?
What does this voucher mean?
The answers seem just out of reach, but one thing is clear—whatever this is, it's about to change their peaceful lives forever.
