First male lead
Jacob Sanderson, nickname Jake. A Biochemistry major. 19 years old. He comes from a middle class family. He lost his parents when he was young, and he lives with his Grandmother and two big brothers when off campus.
He's good at karate and loves to work out.
Second male lead
Shane Crowley, 20 years old. A business major. Comes from a wealthy family and is an only child. He is known as the college's bully and prince.
He's secretly good at playing a guitar and sketching.
Kai Floss, known as Shane's wingman A business major. 21 years old, comes from a wealthy family just like Shane.
The only person who controls Shane.
Mark Johnston, A law major. 20 years old and Jake's best friend.
Loves basketball but not as much as he loves his girl Tamie
Tamara Cheng aka Tamie, Jake's best friend and Mark's girlfriend. same age and major as Jake.
cheerful and caring.
Bradley Dallas, same age with Jake. a business major and Jake's best friend.

Jake and his friends are going to the basketball court to watch Mark practice for a game that is on Saturday the following weekend when a familiar voice makes them divert their attention towards the stands.

*grinds his teeth trying not to look at who the owner was*

😒*annoyed* It's that jerk again.
Brad
*frowning* I wish someone could just shove a shoe down that throat.
Tamie

Shane
*grabs a boy by the collar* Do you know what I do to bastards like you?

*pushes him to the ground* Accident?

Idiot, you stepped on my shoe, and you call that an accident...do you know how much these costs?

Not even your tuition fees can cover this damage...
Drake
*chuckles standing beside Kai with satisfaction*
Mark
*watching angrily from a distance*
Despite the heart to stay away from the guy that he tries so much to hate. Jake finds himself running towards the stand and stops below Shane and his friends. He helps the bullied guy up and faces Shane.
Shane
*breathing hard, smirks at Jake* 😏 You!

Jake
*angrily staring at Shane* Don't you have better things to do than bully others?
Shane
*bites his lower lip* Who are you again?
I could feel my knuckles crack as my fist tightened, I wished so much to wipe the smirk off his mouth with it yet the lingering feelings deep inside my heart held me back, and I hated myself for it.
Jake
*looks at the bullied boy* come on let's go.
Shane
😠 woah! Hold up, hold up...
Shane
*grips Jake's arm* What the hell do you think you're doing?
Jake
*snatches his arm from Shane and raises his eyebrows* What does it look like I am doing?
student 1
*whispering to her friend* I can’t believe Jake is standing up to Shane. Is he crazy?
student 2
*nervously biting her nails*Yeah, Shane's not someone you want to mess with. This could end badly.
Shane
😡 how dare you talk to me like that?
Jake
And how dare you think you can treat anyone just the way you like?
Jake
*feels agitated* Come, let's go.
I grabbed the guy whose name I didn't even know and began to walk down the steps. And just as I anticipated, Drake with his cold demeanor blocked my way and looked up at Shane like a dog waiting for command.
Shane
*stepping forward, intimidatingly* You really think you can just take him?
He inched closer to me that I could feel his breath on my forehead because he was some inches taller than me. My heart pounded, not from fear but from a feeling I had been trying so hard to contain...a feeling that made me despise myself.
Shane
Don't try to be a hero, you might only regret it.😠
Jake
*face to face with Shane* I am not afraid of you.
Shane
*grabs Jake by the neck* You weasel.....
Mark
*rushes towards them* Hey! Get your hands off him.
The conflict on his face was visible, I could tell that he did not want to let me go unpunished. In the end, he pushed me with both hands and I fell.
Shane
That ought to teach you to never stick your nose into my business.
with that he signaled his gang, and they walked away with people paving way for them like they were gods. That whole time, my heart ached with excruciating spasms.....

Mark
*pacing* That was a stupid move, Jake!
Brad
We agreed we would never mess with those guys, now they will be on our tail
Tamie
*sighs and rolls her eyes* Will you guys just stop tormenting him. What is there to be afraid of?
Tamie
And I don't think Jake did anything wrong, its high time someone stood up to him.
Mark
*looks at Tamie* Did it have to be him? *pointing at Jake*
Tamie
Who else can do it better than our sassy queen? 🤗
Tamie
*smiles sheepishly* Oops! I forgot you banned me from calling you that.
Tamie
Anyway, Shane is too much and if no one can do anything about it then let Jake handle it.
Tamie
We all know he's no match when it comes to punches.
Brad
*scratches his head and clears his throat* That's true, but would he do it?
Jake
*furrows his brows at Brad*
Brad
We all know you have a soft spot for him. *winks*
Jake
*throws a shoe at him* Shut up, man.
Brad
*points at Jake* See, exactly what I am trying to say...knowing your temper, you could have already broke his teeth from trying to intimidate you...
Brad
But I guess your heart went wild from his sweet and mesmerizing cologne...
Brad was quick to duck another shoe flying towards him. He was so good at reminding me about my stupid crush for Shane. When I came out to them, they took it unexpectedly well, and they were really supportive.
But when they found out that I liked Shane, they went wild especially Mark who just had a natural hate for the guy and ever since then...they planted the hate seed inside me which however failed to outgrow my feelings for Shane.
Brad
*hiding behind Mark* Save me!
Jake
*sits on the floor with back leaning to the wall* We agreed we wouldn't talk about this again.
Mark
It would be easy if you didn't get yourself involved with that jerk.
Jake
*closes his eyes* Are you really going to blame me for standing up for someone?
Jake
What's the use of hating something if you don't do anything to change it?
Mark
*chuckles* You can't change him, he's an ass accept it.
Mark
It's high time someone tells him the truth, move on man.
I don't remember how I stood up, but my heart was pounding so loudly as I stared at Mark.
Jake
*sighs* You are right.
Jake
It's high time I moved on...
Tamie
*worryingly* Jake...
Jake
*stops her with his hand* It's okay, Tamie.
Tamie
*glares at Mark before going after Jake*
