"God! Finally new class, new year, new school, I just hope nothing goes bad this time" I sighed and put my mathematics book in bag.

I laid on my bed after washing up and I was tired from all the things going inside my head that i didn't realise when I slept.

Today's the day. My first day at my new high school, I'm really excited yet nervous. "Uniform check, Hairs check, Bag check, Brain check" I chuckled to myself before going downstairs. Maa was preparing the breakfast and not to mention, in the excitement, i got ready a little earlier so here I am, waiting for the breakfast patiently ofcourse.

"Maa, won't you give me some words of wisdom, it's my first day of highschool?!" I asked while chewing on my pancakes. She obviously ignored me, I sighed, put on my shoes and here we are. Off to school!!!

"Goodness! I knew I was nervous but what in the world my heart is beating so fast for, and my hands, why am I shaking???" I thought to myself while entering the big gates of Sunshine high. It is indeed a really big one and not to mention the management and decorum chef's kiss.

I took a long breathe and proceeded to walk. I went to teacher's room straight (absolutely after the struggle of getting lost again and again) and I accompanied my homeroom teacher to my new class.

Thump thump "My heart is gonna explode, please send help" i thought to myself, take a long breathe and boom I finally walked into the classroom of my first ever year of highschool.

Well except one, "Atleast one person smiled, he seems nice, I wonder what's his name?" I was again in my dreamland, talking to myself when my teacher pointed out to a chair. "You may now sit on that empty desk Mr. Rosewood beside Alex graves." I nodded and went to sit.

Everything is going smoothly but boy my desk mate, he has been sleeping in the class and nobody has an objection. "Weird" i accidentally said my thoughts out loud while staring at him. He finally looked at me I AM DEAD and boy was he scary. He blinked four times before saying something that made me know He's a complete dickhead.

The bell went off, and it was finally Lunch time.... "I was waiting for this moment for ages, man" I thought to myself. As I was standing up to go find the cafeteria, a weird sound came like some explosion and guess where it came from? "Oh, no! My stomach... I knew I was hungry, but you didn't have to announce it like that" I looked around, as I said it to myself, to see if anyone noticed "phew!" I let out a sigh of relief.

"Pfft..." someone chuckled,,,, and I turned to look to see who it was and "AHH! Shucks..." i thought to myself because It was none other than my seatmate Alex graves.

It was already embarrassing enough, and he put the cherry on top by asking "Aww, someone's starving?" and laughed like he heard the best joke ever. What is so funny, dickhead??? Without saying anything, I ran away from there, covering my mouth because it was red like hell from all the embarrassment.

I was running to God knows where BECAUSE ONLY GOD KNOWS WHERE THE HELL CAFETERIA IS??? "Shit" i exclaimed as I bumped into something or someone? "Using bad words has never been the most favorable response to things in school you know, newbie" The boy said who was standing in front of me like a tower. I looked up to to see his face and oh it was him... The boy who smiled at me.

"What are you so red for? Love at first sight or what hm?" He asked bringing me back to the current situation, and it reminded me of the reason why my face is red and without any second thought I blurted out "More like Hate at first sight" hmph I made an angry face and ran away from him too, leaving him with a confused look at his face.

I banged my head on the wall of the roof... Yeah, I'm on the roof of this school because i couldn't find cafeteria dammit... At least i found a vending machine, and I'm not hungry anymore, so fortunate of me. "Ugh" I groaned because my first day is already full of embarrassment.

"Are you a student of this class?" The teacher asked me.

"Shit! I got late" i thought to myself while bowing to the teacher, "I am really sorry, sir. Yes I transferred here today and i apologize for being late to your class". I heard the footsteps approaching to me from the front and as he was stepping closer, my heart rate was increasing step by step, second by second. He is now in front of me silently standing, I bet the whole class is witnessing how pathetic I am. He suddenly patted my back, laughed and said "Oh! What a polite student, Now, c'mon stand straight". My eyes opened widely at his reaction as I was expecting a punishment, "Go, sit down but don't get late again" and he winked at me... He winked at me? He winked at me???

"This place is filled with weirdos I swear" I thought to myself as I walked to my seat.

*Hate at first sight?* I tilted my head as I saw the sentence written on my notebook...

"Aish! It's been a long day, man" i talked to myself as I yawned, school is over. "I must say the first day was quite a roller coaster ride, but it's worth changing schools, it's peaceful here" I was in my dream land while looking outside and smiling.

"Is it your girlfriend?" a head popped up from the side, the boy who smiled at me... I gasped and almost fell from my chair phew. "What-What girlfriend?" I stuttered. "You were smiling like you're thinking about someone" he said while smiling like he always does, now That I think about it, he didn't particularly smiled at me, it's in his nature. "It's really beautiful tho" and once again I said my thoughts out loud, why? Yes, because I'm a complete idiot. He tilted his head, of course he is confused "What is beautiful?" came from his mouth, and I could only say "Eh- the scenery, behind you" okay! that was really stupid.

He looked behind to see what was so beautiful "But it looks like it's going to rain, so gloomy, don't you think?" I started wondering at his comment... Why do people find rainy weather sad and gloomy while for me, it is refreshing and beautiful, I could look at this color of the sky forever and without knowing I again said my thoughts out loud "You are wrong" shit!

"Oh! Am I?" he looked confused, and cute I am going crazy "Not really, I mean everybody has their own perceptions and I think it's yours that you find it sad..." and as I said, he put his fingers under his chin like he is Sherlock or something and asked "What's yours?"

"Hm?" I was confused by his question and he, looking at me with those doe eyes of him asked again, this time more clearly "What's your perception of this weather?" I looked at him with wide eyes because nobody ever asked me my perspective or perception and all I could bear to say was "Eh?"

"Do you want me to repeat?" okay, this boy is actually really interested in knowing at this point.

"No- uhm… I find it beautiful, rain puts me at ease, it's peaceful" I said while looking at the floor because I couldn't afford to look into his eyes right now.

He bent down to look into my eyes... Why is he doing this??? "But what about all the dirt and mud, hm?" oh goodness I shook my head and started to laugh because boy his doubts are just chef's kiss haha. He smiled again "Your laugh is hilarious and cute" and i suddenly choked on my breath you are not supposed to say things like this, idiot! I started to cough...

"Thank you for saving my life!" i showed gratitude to the girl who offered me water and I got to know that these two are best friends "I am not his best friend, we're more like enemies, I hate his smile" Right, they are so good at bickering... I must say she is pulling off those freckles and ginger hair, She is gorgeous. "So... Are you guys like friends or what?" she asked looking at him and me, "Ah! Shit, I forgot to introduce myself..." he looked at me, extended his hand and continued "Brightly, Kane brightly" "And i remember you saying that cursing is a bad thing hm?... They both interrupted and said in rhythm...
