In a realm where darkness reigns supreme, two sovereigns from rival domains—Azel, the God of the Underworld, and Lyra, the Goddess of Hell—meet by fate. Both gods, stoic and consumed by the responsibilities of their chaotic realms, find themselves drawn to each other in ways neither anticipated. But in a world where emotions are dangerous and alliances are forbidden, they must navigate their feelings with caution.
Will love bloom between them, or will the ancient forces that separate their realms tear them apart?
Prologue: Fate’s Mistake
In the underworld, where shadows breathe and the night never ends, Azel stood alone at the gates of forgotten souls. He was not the sort of deity who spoke of love or tenderness. His domain demanded ruthlessness. Souls that wandered here had long lost their memories, and Azel himself had grown cold from an eternity of isolation.
In another realm just a dimension away, Lyra, the Hell Goddess, sat on her obsidian throne, reigning over sinners consumed by endless torment. Unlike Azel’s underworld of forgetfulness, Hell was loud, angry, and painful. Lyra thrived in chaos. Yet, within her heart lay a strange emptiness, a longing she could not name.
The gods of Hell and the Underworld were forbidden from crossing paths. Yet fate, as always, had other plans
Chapter 1:
It happened by mistake—perhaps a cruel joke by the universe. A rift opened between the two realms, causing Azel and Lyra to collide in a dark space between their domains. Both reached for a stray soul that did not belong to either realm, only to find themselves face-to-face.
Azel regarded Lyra with a cold, calculating gaze. Her fiery hair fell like rivers of molten lava, and her eyes blazed like twin suns caught in eclipse. She looked dangerous. Beautiful, but dangerous.
Lyra smirked. “I didn’t think the Underworld God ever left his dusty gates.”
“And I didn’t think Hell needed a queen to keep its chaos in check,” Azel retorted, his voice low and smooth like a whispering shadow.
For a moment, neither spoke. They were opposites in every sense—fire and night, chaos and silence. And yet, in that shared moment, something shifted. An invisible thread pulled them closer, though neither dared admit it aloud.
