We have so little time on this earth, so we have to spend it with gratitude.”

That's what Pandora, his best friend, had said right before she forcefully took Regulus on a business trip with her to , Brazil.

When Regulus finally gets off the plane with Pandora, he could immediately feel the rise in temperature, it was different from what he was used to in London. Regulus sighs,“Dora… I don't think I can do this. It's too hot here, you know how I get when I'm overheated.” Regulus said as he clutched his bag in his hands. His face is already damp with sweat because of the humidity. Pandora rolls her eyes, “ oh hush Reggie, you'll get used to it, hopefully.” Pandora said with a hint of nervousness in her voice. She knows how Regulus gets when it's too hot and humid. His pale skin gets red and his curly black hair gets poofy. Thankfully, Pandora doesn't have to worry about her hair getting frizzy or skin getting burnt.

Regulus and Pandora walk out of the airport with all their luggage. As Pandora calls for a cab, Regulus gets his notebook from his backpack. The notebook was filled with thoughts and ideas he had for his book that he’s making. The date for the book submission was coming in hot, and he felt overwhelmed and anxious. He has made plenty of books so far, and they've done pretty well, but this, this book is on a whole other level. He based the main character off of himself, so the book has a lot more sincerity and feeling than all the others, he was scared for what's to happen.

As the cab pulls up, Regulus and Pandora put their luggage in the trunk, and the driver takes them to the Mercure Hotel.

Jame Potter walked out of the ocean. His surfboard dragging behind him, as he plops down on the sand. The sand covers his toned body. His brown hair flat against his face. He grabs the bag that was laying beside him. He digs through the bag, and pulls out a pair of glasses. He put on the circular glasses, and when he did they framed his face perfectly. As James’s vision adjusts, he sees a man run out of the water holding their surfboard above their head. The man that was running at James drops the board on the sand, and they tackle James. The man smiled at James. It was Sirius Black, James’s best friend since they were 11.

Sirius’s smile widens, “ the waves were crazy today huh?” Sirius said as he rolled off James. James chuckles and nods, “ I didn't think they'd be so strong today. They gave me a pretty humbling experience when I whipped out.” Sirius nods as he stares up at the clear blue sky.

Sirius’s eyes then widened as if he remembered something important they had to do today, Sirius sits up and looks down at james. “James… The photographer and designer are coming today!” James’s eyes widen as he sits up. “ I thought they were coming on the 9th!” Sirius grabs his phone from the bag and looks at the date. “Today is the 9th!” After Sirius said this, both James and Sirius run to James' truck, throwing their surf birds in the back and grabbing their clothes and tugging them on over their swim trunks. As they navigate through Belém, they make sharp turns to try and make it on time for the meeting. The meeting for the…Mercure Hotel.

As Regulus and Pandora got out of the cab and unload their stuff from the trunk. They walked to the front desk to get their separate room keys. As they both rode the elevator in comfortable silence ,the elevator doors opened and they stepped out of the elevator onto the 5th floor. The hotel was pretty big, Regulus knew that. Soon they both spotted their separate hotel rooms, so they both said their goodbyes for now, and they retreated into their rooms.

Regulus’s pov

I sigh as I land on the comfortable bed the hotel had provided me with. If I was being honest, I have a strange feeling, I don’t know what it is, but it’s somthing I’ve never felt before. I sigh as I roll over, I had to spend more than 17 hours on the flight her, so I felt pretty sticky and dirty. I slowly get up, leaving the comfort of the bed to start the shower.

As I walk over we to the bathroom I put my phone by the sink just in case pandora calls me.

I slowly undress from my grimy clothes and I set the shower temperature to hot.

I run a hand threw my hair, the bags under my eyes significantly more noticeable then yesterday, my body slimer. I finally step into the shower and I start to wash my self.

As Regulus steps out of the shower, his black hair sticking to his face as water drips from his bare skin, Regulus’s gray eyes scan around the bathroom in search for a towel. Regulus’s eyes sharp as they land on a fluffy white towel folded neatly on the shelf next to the bar of packeged soaps.

As Regulus drys himself off his phone starts to ring. He picks up his phone and looks at the contact, seeing that it was Pandoras name crossing the screen he picks up.

“Hey Reggie, you got some time? I need your help on somthing in my room before I have to leave for the meeting.”
