The girl sitting silently in the library editing her assignment replied "what is it serra".

"ohh I just finished this novel pretty interesting wanna try".

Sherlyn with annoyed face replied "No! Not now the submission deadline is tomorrow I am always late ".

Serra chuckled and continued "there's a character same name as you and maybe looks just like you in the book ".

Hearing this sherlyn took a glance at the cover of the novel "what the..... What's with the title"

Serra replied with enthusiasm "Isn't it amazing what's wrong (CONQUERING THE POISONOUS BEAUTY)".

Sherlyn making rather sarcastic face replied "seriously, what happened to your taste or is it always been like this I didn't know till now."

Serra sitting in the front chair continued " c'mon as the saying goes don't judge the book by its cover this piece is truly fantastic the female lead is amazing here just read this ".

Sherlyn thinking it's alright to sometimes read something that differs from preferences took the book in her bag " I will read this after reaching home alright".

"Yup"

After reaching home grabbing three packets of chips sherlyn opened the novel

'The story starts with the female lead Aria Rogos daughter of count Rogos entering the palace as a candidate for crown princess selection she was avoided by other candidates as a new face in the capital taunted as country bumbkin although she was a noble too but in front of the arrogant noble ladies of capital she was look down upon.'

'this hardly affected her as her focus was only on making her father happy by winning the competition.everything was going quite well until she came across the rumoured scum of empire Duke Arsane van caradol known as red eyed monster on the battlefield and poisonous beauty among the ladies well this tag was layed upon him because of his actions for the past four months.nobody knows what actually happened only assumptions were circulating. Aria wasn't interested but her encounter with him and sometimes the gentle side which he only showed to her made her wonder how this person changed slowly the duke was changing by her kind approaches and innocence she carries in her every action . Well later this story goes on with female lead comforting the male lead and making him depend on her or we can say obsessed over her.

' Now,what happened to the crown prince well he was the second lead of the novel, kind and wise perfect to lead the empire in the future everything goes well but... No one expected that Aria would end up with him yes! The author changed everything although he showed Arsane as a male lead but ended the heroine with second lead later revealed that crown prince was the true love of Aria then what was Arsane well she was just attracted toward him and maybe it was sympathy she changed him for good.'

' at the end to satisfy Arsane's fans who were raged by this setting author introduced a new character Grace , childhood friend of Arsane who came after disappearing for god knows what reason but she came back true love of Arsane and his story with new love interest starts from here, at the end of the novel by the way.'

''hah, it was really unexpected well I thought sherlyn would be an interesting character but she doesn't even appear in the plot seriously.. She is actually a dead character who was only a topic of gossip portrayed as a notorious villainess who died unexpectedly in a masquerade ball after drinking too much alcohol. What the hell."

After reading the ending page sherlyn noticed that there are few more pages to read "ohh its about what happened with Arsane in the past four months ".

After reading for some time she exclaimed as it was already four 'o' clock morning " ohh yeah I should sleep first "

as the result of reading whole night she was late and was running impulsively in the fear of missing the bus suddenly something comes under her shoes it was sticky "damn..who the hell tossed banana here ackk."

she rolled down the stairs..

"what happened I remembered I slipped down the stairs right. Sigh!! Yeah I am alright "

she sighed in relief but then realized there seems to be something different what is all this with such a fancy dress she looked at her sorrounding and exclaimed ''what the hell is this!!! what's going on????".

"What happened my lady?"

the girl with dark violet bob hair and eyes, wearing a knight uniform, face full of concern asked her

sherlyn: "huh?? What lady are you speaking to me."

The girl: "who else my lady if not you what happened to you I knew it you are really drunk this time please Stop!".

"'wha ..what's all this Is this some kind of drama shooting area but it's too realistic to be a set"

"can you show me the mirror"

The girl: "mirror??? My lady the ball is over we are at the private suite why need the mirror ."

"ball???private suite?? "

" what ball???"

"don't you remember my lady you wanted to attend today's masquerade ball, as the Duke and lord levis are not at the manor here the mirror "

Sherlyn was amazed after seeing her reflection in the mirror " this..is clearly my face the only difference is the hair length and skin is more healthy other than that it's the same black hair, dark brown eyes and a little tanned skin but the identity who???!!"

" what's my name??? and who are you ?"

The girl with worried eyes replied " my lady what happened , you are Sherlyn blainch only daughter of Duke ados blainch and I am your knight Lana meyer"

Sherlyn hearing this felt as if she was struck by the lightning " I am in the novel and... wait!! did I died "

" My lady you should sleep , maybe the wine was really too strong you will be fine after enough rest I will stand outside if you face any trouble just call for me."

Sherlyn remembered, Lana meyer was the loyal knight of sherlyn in the novel and the strongest lady knight of all time whose skills were recognised later in the spring festival open duel although after sherlyn's death she was given death penalty as a failure in saving her master's life but was spared by levis sherlyn's brother as he knows her sister liked this knight very much she will not rest in piece if they kill her.

" No you need not to stand outside lana please, go to my other room and sleep."

"she always booked two different rooms for her different moods a spoiled princess huh!"

Lana: " but I can't leave you alone."

Sherlyn: " don't worry I will be fine its not like I am staying here first time right."

'' sherlyn enjoyed masquerade balls the most and most often come here, this room is always booked for her so it should be alright".

Lana: " but my duty is to watch over you how can I sleep in a separate room ".

"she's behaving strange I can't leave her alone "

sherlyn:" you know I am not feeling well I want to be alone for Now and you should rest too."

" she has dark circles and looks tired no wonder she needs some good sleep well its not easy to handle such a notorious master like sherlyn afterall."

Lana: " but..."

Sherlyn:" no buts lana this is an order!".

Lana has no choice as her priority is to follow all her masters order she was about to leave ,

Sherlyn: " wait!! What's this is it some kind of incense??."

Lana looked at the table there were two colours of incense " yes my lady do you want me to burn it for you ".

Sherlyn:" yeah , which one is good."

Lana who doesn't know anything about incense as her only focus were swords and training replied "I don't particularly know anything about these my lady ".

Sherlyn stared at both incense one was pink and other was brown assuming that the pink one is surely made for fragrance of Roses she ask her to burn pink one.

after burning the incense Lana left the room she was alone now sorrounded by silence unknown to her.

she laid down in the bed mirror in her hand watching her face and thinking what now.. Yeah its her new life she should accept this its not hard to adapt to this face as she looks the same.

" hmm.. lets live as sherlyn blainch of this world its not too bad right afterall .. I am Goddamn rich now!! No need to concern about finding job no need to study that hard. Huh only problem would be no phones, Tv or internet well that's fine I will get used to this soon".

she was having mixed feelings although she was sad thinking about her death and her friends must be mourning for her she lost her parents early at the age of 18 but luckily they left her enough money so that she won't suffer. Thinking everything would be good and adapt to situation was her only way to motivate herself for keep going and assuring herself that she's lucky by somehow pointing out good things and generate positive feelings.

She was lost in thoughts and suddenly felt that there is something wrong with this room after snapping out of the bed she realised the feeling of discomfort and increasing temperature of the room.

"No! Its not the room temperature but my body temperature what's happening, wait!!! That can't be".

She stared at the incense ....
