THE DAY ENDS IN THE PARADISE

UNKNOWN

Chapter 1: Unknown

The sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple. Suara, her name a whisper of the wind through the palm leaves, stood at the edge of the village, her gaze fixed on the fiery spectacle. The air was thick with the scent of salt and the distant hum of the ocean. Paradise, they called it. But Suara felt a gnawing emptiness, a hollowness that echoed the vastness of the sky before her.

She was different. The other children, with their tanned skin and bright smiles, seemed to belong to this place, their laughter blending with the rhythm of the waves. Suara, with her pale skin and eyes that held the depths of the sea, felt like a lone bird lost in a flock of vibrant parrots.

Her mother, a woman with a voice like the rustling of leaves, had told her stories of a world beyond the horizon, a world of towering structures and bustling streets, a world where the sun never set. It was a world that called to her, a world she longed to see, a world that whispered promises of belonging.

But the village elders, their faces etched with the wisdom of ages, warned her against venturing beyond the familiar shores. They spoke of dangers lurking in the shadows, of creatures that preyed on the unwary, of a world where the sun never set, but where darkness reigned in the hearts of men.

Suara, however, couldn't ignore the pull of the unknown. The stories of her mother resonated within her, a constant hum of longing. She yearned to break free from the confines of the village, to explore the world beyond the horizon, to find her place under a sky that never knew night.

Tonight, as the last sliver of the sun disappeared, a decision began to form in her heart. The whispers of the unknown were growing louder, and Suara knew she could no longer resist their call. She turned away from the fiery sunset, her steps light and determined, and walked towards the darkness that lay beyond the village, towards the unknown that held the promise of a new dawn

As the darkness hugged her soul, she finds peace, but she can't help thinking what is it if I'm free? Do I need to be unknown? As the day passed her soul is completely forgotten by everyone she's nothing but a forgotten soul she's asking herself why I'd end up this way? What did she do to end up like this, she in deep thoughts and she can't help but feel useless and worthless as she embraced the darkness she finds herself being protected by shadows who's whispering to her ears with a chilling and raspy voice but she finds it comfort not as negativity not as being afraid of it's about being protected by unknown who you never met and never being loved by anyone just a shadow that embraced her
