Everyone was celebrating their accomplishments. The staff was relieved that they wouldn't lose their jobs. The investors were pleased that the financial risk had decreased.
But, the young CEO, who used to be their inspiration, was long forgotten. This is the tough reality of the world: once you stop being useful to others, your worth diminishes.
While everyone was busy rejoicing in their success, the young CEO seemed to be sitting in the corner of the big mansion, with loneliness draining every strand of his energy.
