Prologue
There are three realms in the world:
Umbraheim is a realm full of reapers who gather souls in the mortal world.
This shadowy domain is where the delicate balance between life and death is maintained, with reapers ensuring that souls transition smoothly to the afterlife.
Midgard is the realm where mortals live.
It is the world of humans, filled with modern technology, bustling cities, and everyday lives.
Mortals remain blissfully unaware of the mystical realms that coexist with their own.
Enchantara is the realm of fairies.
It is a place of eternal beauty, magic, and enchantment, where fairies govern the forces of nature and magic, unseen by mortal eyes.
Is an inspiring and popular writer, known for his fairy tale-like stories that had captured the hearts of many, was in a big dilemma.
Despite the adoration of his fans and the joy he derived from weaving tales of magic and wonder, Aelion couldn't take writing stories forever.
What had started as a beloved hobby, something that filled his evenings and weekends with purpose and creativity, was no longer sustainable.
He needed to find a long-term job, something that could provide stability and security in his life.
Determined to make a change, Aelion threw himself into the job market.
He sent out resumes, dressed up for countless interviews, and faced the world with a hopeful heart.
However, the reality of the job search soon took its toll.
Each day he would leave his apartment looking neat and pretty
Only to return home haggard and disheartened.
The constant rejection and the grueling process of trying to sell himself to potential employers wore him down.
He suddenly realized how hard it was to live a life like this, caught between his dreams and the harsh necessities of reality.
A glimmer of hope appeared.
Aelion received an email from a famous business enterprise, informing him that he had passed the resume screening and was invited for an interview.
The news was a beacon of light in his otherwise dreary job hunt.
With renewed vigor, Aelion prepared himself for what he hoped would be the opportunity that could change his life.
After many twists and turns, Aelion's perseverance paid off.
He was hired and finally got the job.
The sense of relief and accomplishment was overwhelming.
Little did he know that his new job would be the beginning of an adventure far beyond his wildest imaginations.
A reaper named Zephyr was given a new mission by the High Reaper.
The mission was to be carried out in the Midgard realm, the realm of mortals.
This task was not going to be easy.
Many reapers had failed before him, unable to navigate the complexities and temptations of the mortal world.
But Zephyr was different. He was the most taciturn and cold of the reapers, his thick eyebrows and long nose giving him an air of stern authority.
With a face that resembled an angel's but an identity closer to that of a grim reaper, Zephyr has a formidable presence.
He responded to his new mission nonchalantly, determined to complete it swiftly so that he could return to his realm earlier.
Zephyr reviewed the details of the Midgard realm and its current state, preparing himself meticulously.
Understanding that blending in was important, he decided to build a business enterprise in Midgard as a cover up for his mission.
As fate would have it, Zephyr's newly established enterprise was the very one where Aelion had just been hired.
Unbeknownst to both Aelion and Zephyr
Destiny was quietly at work, weaving their paths together.
Their worlds, so different and yet inexplicably connected, were on a collision course.
As they moved closer to one another, driven by their respective journeys, the question lingered:
Episode 1
Umbraheim is a shadowy, ethereal realm where the veil between life and death is thin.
It exists in a dimension parallel to our own, accessible only through ancient rites and dark incantations.
The landscape is dominated by forests of skeletal trees, their branches reaching out like bony fingers, and rivers of inky blackness that whisper secrets to those who dare listen.
In the heart of this spectral realm lies the Dark Federal, a grand, ominous palace reminiscent of European architecture, but shrouded in eternal darkness.

(The air is thick with silence, an oppressive weight that even the bravest souls would find unbearable.)
High Reaper
(As I stand in the center of the room)
High Reaper
(My dark cloak blending seamlessly with the shadows)
High Reaper
(I feel the weight of my position as the leader of the Dark Council.)
High Reaper
The mission has failed once again.
High Reaper
The festival of Grim Dark Souls draws near
High Reaper
And we are no closer to retrieving the Ebonshroud.
The council members, all cloaked in darkness, murmur among themselves.
The gravity of the situation hangs heavily in the air.
High Reaper
(The festival of Grim Dark Souls, occurring every 666 years in the Umbraheim Calendar, is a time when the darkest souls are sacrificed to the King of the Underworld.)
High Reaper
Without the Ebonshroud
High Reaper
The consequences are unthinkable.
High Reaper
The King of the Underworld's wrath will be upon us
High Reaper
And we may become his next meal.
High Reaper
(The Ebonshroud, a black obsidian stone that absorbs both the darkest souls and the purest light, has been stolen and is now in Midgard, the realm of mortals.)
High Reaper
(This stone is crucial for trapping dark souls and delivering them to the underworld for the festival.)
High Reaper
We have eleven months left before the festival.
High Reaper
We must retrieve the stone, or face annihilation.
High Reaper
(The council members offer various suggestions, but I dismiss them all.)
Finally, Eliott, a member of the Dark Council, steps forward.
Eliott
He has just completed the reaping of the Purple King Dragon's soul.
Eliott
He could be here within a day or two.
The suggestion is met with murmurs of agreement from the council.
High Reaper
(I remain silent, contemplating the proposition.)
High Reaper
(Zephyr is known for his unparalleled skill and strength, but his perfection is both an asset and a concern.)
High Reaper
(After a long pause, I finally speak.)
High Reaper
Zephyr will be assigned this mission.
High Reaper
However, we must proceed with caution.
High Reaper
His capabilities are unmatched
High Reaper
But his perfection could be our downfall.
Zephyr, the most formidable reaper, will be sent to Midgard to retrieve the Ebonshroud.
High Reaper
(The fate of the realms now rests in his hands.)

Episode 2
A dark, tall muscular man sits beside the fresh head of a gigantic creature.
The creature's eyes are dilated, its tongue lolling out.
Its massive body is shredded to pieces, flooding the ground with its blood.
This was the Purple King Dragon.
Zephyr
(This beast's reputation precedes it, but it's nothing more than a pile of flesh now.)
The Purple King Dragon was infamous for its killing sprees, wreaking havoc across dimensions and realms, devouring everything in its path.
It was a villain in every sense, leaving death and destruction wherever it went.
But its luck ran out when it stumbled into Umbraheim, the realm of reapers.
Zephyr
(Traveling through dimensions, killing, destroying... and now, it's nothing but a bloody mess.)
Zephyr, disgusted and annoyed, slowly raises his sharp, darkly black scythe with a mix of red under his dark, sparkling cloak.
He slashes the remaining parts of the Purple King Dragon again, his handsome face expressionless, like a cold killer unfazed by the carnage.
Suddenly, a transmission message echoes in Zephyr's mind.
It's Eliott, a member of the Dark Council.
Eliott
(transmission) Zephyr, come back once you're done.
Eliott
(transmission) There's another mission waiting for you.
Zephyr remains cold and expressionless, stopping mid-swing.
Eliott
(transmission, trying to ease the tension)
Eliott
(transmission) I know you must be tired, but this new mission is crucial.
Zephyr listens silently, then turns without a word, deciding to head back to the Dark Federal.
Eliott is left speechless but respects Zephyr as a reaper, knowing he is destined for the next Dark Council.
Zephyr flies through the dark, sunless realm of Umbraheim, his scythe on his back.
Zephyr
(The reapers in Umbraheim can see in the dark with their special eyes, which can peer into souls, revealing birth and death.)
Zephyr
(No sun, no light, but I see everything.)
As Zephyr approaches the Dark Federal, all reapers, from newbies to seniors, cower in fear.
They know Zephyr's reputation and the reality of their world: reapers can fight and kill each other, and a reaped reaper's soul is shattered forever, leaving no chance for reincarnation.
Zephyr
(Fear. It's a useful tool. Better they stay out of my way.)
Zephyr lands at the Dark Federal, the imposing structure looming ahead.
He strides inside, his presence commanding silence and respect.
