"Wahhhharghhh...ahhh" a baby's crying voice was heard around the small wooded room. A huge war had just begun in Cripstin village.

A mother was in labour, she couldn't bear the pain as she said to her husband who was sitting beside her with some other women.

"Pro..promise me, you..would taake...good..ugh..care of her" She struggled trying to fight through the pain in her body. "Noo...no please Suzan...please don't leave me ...no please" Her husband cried seeing his beloved one dying " I have...to..to go...I..it's for the ..best...I just..need to go jo..join them..up there now...but...just promise me...please take..hmmm..take care of our child" She raised her hand to cup his chin and rubbed it in a smoothing way.

"No Suzan..don't say that...don't...your gonna live for us and our child...no ..don't do this to me...what of all the dreams we would achieve one day...no you can't forget about that ...would you" He cried the more, the person he loved so much was slowly fading away.

"Richard...promise..me" Her soft hand fell from his face and that was her last breath. Richard looked at her, eyes still open, he closed her beautiful eyes with his palm as tears filled his eyes, they rolled down his eyes leaving the end of his face and landing on suzan's forehead.

The War between the vidialians and the barbanlians was happening, no one knew why the vidialians always planned on killing the barbanlians...there was a statement that was made amongst the vidialians and it said ' DON'T HESITATE TO KILL OUR ENEMY_ the barbanlians' .No one knew the real truth behind the conflict but it was really a strong and serious one.

Richard was a barbanlian and worked as servant in the estate of the barbanlian kingdom. Suzan was a vidialian that ran away from her kingdom...she was an important person in the kingdom of the vidialians all because she cooked the most delicious foods in the town and everyone loved her.

She ran away and didn't know where to go. She got lost in the forest and spent a night without food which made her to pass out. To her surprise, she woke up on a bed and looked around. 'someone saved me' she thought.

A man with dirty blond hair and blue sapphire eyes entered the room holding a cup of water in his hands. He looked up at her and smiled. His figures where wonderful with his muscles in the right places. He wore just a singlet which exposed part of his chest leading to his abs which slightly pierced out of the singlet, he wore the singlet with dark sweatpants ...he was ...Perfect.

Suzan looked as if she just saw gold cringing in front of her.

"Who are you" she asked looking away because it was distracting.

"Well, you don't need to be scared. I saved your life..I'm Richard" he walked closer to her and dropped the cup on the small table at the bedside. Suzan looked at herself and saw she was still wearing the same clothes, she made a sigh of relief. At least she could trust him right.

"So...can you tell me about everything, why I saw you in that dark forest" he sat on the bed beside her looking at her eyes worried. He noticed that she had autumn red hair and light brown eyes which where so beautiful. She hard dark red brows and long lashes..her skin was as white as snow knowing pretty well she wasn't an ordinary person.

"Hey...i'm Suzan" she tucked the hair that fell on her face behind her ear. "To be honest, you wouldn't like what I would tell you cause you'll be afraid of me..you wanna hear it or not" she said looking at him.

" Don't tell me...your.." Richard held his breath and stood up immediately away from her " A Vidialian" fear was printed on his handsome face. Suzan turned to her side in disappointment "Yes...I am...I sensed that you're a barbanlian because I ran to the barbanlian forest" Richard couldn't believe that he had saved a vidialian. He felt so stupid at the moment and thought about it.

"Are you gonna...kill...me" he asked in the most pleading way ever. He was was already scared, terrified, Suzan saw a gulp go down his Adam's apple.

"Actually, No, i'm not gonna kill you"she said removing the bedspread that covered her body, letting her feet touch the wooden floor. She collected the cup of water and took a sip to wet her dry throat.

"How could I even trust a vidialian, you people are cruel..so cruel I can't even imagine". He agreed with himself "Look, it's not all vidialians that are cruel you know...I'm not one of them. Infact, I'm one of the nicest...how could I even kill you when you saved my life from those demons" Suzan said dropping the cup on the table.

"Could I trust you" Richard looked at her. He wanted to trust her. A strong feeling filled his eyes. She stood up and made her way to him cupping her palms on his face. He relaxed into the touch.

"You can trust me anytime, cause from the way I'm seeing it, your a good man who doesn't wanna harm anyone...so I do trust you...will you do the same?"

He thought about what she said. She didn't seem like a bad woman. 'Could I trust her?' he held her hand up to his chin and pressed against his skin "Yes...I trust you, please don't betray me" He pleaded.

"I promise" she said.

Love came across their lives. Yes! They fell for each other. It was just too impossible to resist. They made love and soon enough, Suzan was pregnant. There where news across the town that a woman was missing and she belonged to the vidialian kingdom.

The vidialians claimed that the barbanlians kidnapped the missing female chef and they would claim justice. Suzan was the female chef. Everyone enjoyed her cooking and was very important. She one day got tired because the stress was increasing day by day. She had to run...far away. Richard and Suzan met some friends and they kept their secret hidden. But unfortunately, something happened on the day Suzan was in labour and that changed everthing.

RICHARD..

Blood, fire, smoke, shattered woods, collapsed houses, flying arrows, unexpected bombs, and many other dangerous things I couldn't remember filled the town of Cripstin village.

I couldn't still believe she was gone...how could it be.

I looked at my crying baby in the hands of my sister Emily. She was always there for me when I needed anything. She had blond hair and chocolate brown eyes.

The baby was wrapped in white cloth. BOOM!!!. Oh no...they are heading over here..

"Richard, we need to get out of here quick and fast. The war is becoming more dangerous. If we don't make it on time...we.. might..." I interrupted her.

"Emily...what's the use...Emily ...what is the f**king use of living if we know we're gonna die" I raked my hair in a hard manner.

What is actually the use. They always wanted us dead. They took everything away from us. They tortured us, Treated us like we were goats and now they took away the one that I cherished the most.

"Richard, even if we might not survive...think about your daughter...she just entered this wicked and cruel world Richard" she dropped the baby on the bed who was already sleeping peacefully. We had already planned on naming her Brittany Calpis.

She started packing important stuffs. She wrapped some clothes inside a wrapper and tied it to a stick, I moved towards her and helped her to carry the items while she carried the baby.

We headed out the door including Suzan who was in my hands. I looked at her again, her skin was turning white and pale, not being able to hear her heartbeat, not being able to hear her soft voice...why.

Tears filled my eyes once again. We ran crossing the Togan tree which was already on fire. It was the biggest tree in the village. This was the tree that me and Suzan kissed each other. The taste of her lips on mine. Ughhh..

"BOOM" a loud sound was heard, the great city of Cripstin was crashing and no one could do anything about it.

No one....

EMILY..

It was early evening, Corpses surrounded the whole village. It was terrible. Flames of fire everywhere. This war was a dangerous war. It was a war of freedom. But unfortunately, we lost, the barbanlians lost.

Something caught my eye, flying lines where in the air ...when I got a closer view of what was happening. I realised, flying arrows where heading to our way.

"Richard, over here...come on" It felt like he wanted to give up on his life just because Suzan died..it felt like he couldn't live without Suzan. Fear struck me, I couldn't lose my brother too...No.

I ran to the the wooden roof with the baby which was beside a house that wasn't burning thinking that Richard would follow me...but...he didn't ....no..no...what is he planning to do.

"Richard...over here" I screamed to the top of my voice. He turned his head to face me still wasn't moving towards me. He threw the bag over to where I was and I caught it. He looked at me and shakes his head sideways with tears in his eyes. He dropped Suzan to the ground and stood up. He looked me and mouthed 'I'm sorry'...Wait ..what.

He spread his hands outwards and there came a flying arrow stab Richard right in the chest causing blood flow out his body, and my mouth opened. "Arrgghhhhhh..Emily....please ...take care of our child....I..am counting on you...please" Richard shouted. He held the arrow which was still inside his chest and groaned...then another came on his leg. He knelt down with one leg and finally hit the ground.

I couldn't move, I just watched and let my brother die like that, I didn't even know when tears rolled out from my eyes. No.No.No. I was shaking really bad. I used my palm to cover mouth so that they wouldn't hear me cry. Why do bad things keep on happening to us barbanlians. What did we ever do to deserve such wickedness. What.

He fell to the ground laying beside Suzan. I saw Richard wrap his hands around suzan's body and a sad smile appeared on my lips 'Suzan is really lucky to have such a husband' I thought. I guess this is the end of their lives. I had to move on.

I collected the bag and turned so I could move on. An arrow had it way over to where I was but I Dodged it. Phew. I won't die not me and not the baby I ran to the shelter we where meant to be safe in but unfortunately Richard changed the plan completely.

I looked back to where they laid and there came a wood with its roots burning into ashes land on top of them. Another round of tears filled my eyes and they fell like a drop of water. No, I had to be strong for me and my niece. I just have to. I headed down the basement into the house and unlocked the door to the underground room. And went inside with a torch.

Me and one of my friend helen built the underground room and both of us had a spare key with us...Incase something like this happened. You wouldn't even know if there was an underground room because the door looked exactly like the wooden tiles.

Where could Helen be...is she even alive. I couldn't care less. I went over to the table near the bed and dropped the things there. I laid the baby on the bed so I could cleanse her by removing the dirt disorganising her face.

"Brittany...what did you do to deserve such pain...what an innocent baby" I said touching the baby's face. " I will surely protect you...I promise".

Heavy drops of water was heard around the house which means rain was already falling. I couldn't sleep that night, Recalling what had happened. I laid on the bed and I let sleep overtake me.

I was soaked, I couldn't really breath...water drowned my face like I was being swallowed by a water monster...what was happening. Then something hit me and that made me wake up from my dream.

I woke up with Helen's eyes staring down at my face. Her eyes where filled with worry like as if she almost lost her bestfriend, she was holding a bottle of  water in her right hand.

"Helen...is that you or am I dreaming" I said. "Yes Emily, it's me...I'm here now" She touched my hand and I leaned forward and gave her a tight and warming hug. How did she get here.

Helen was with her two beautiful children. A boy which was only two years and a girl which was only 8 months. Her husband died from heart disease two weeks ago.

" How did you guys get here" I said carrying Brittany(baby) in my arms.

" Well actually, it's a long story" she grinned at me.

"Ok..go on" she took a deep breath and started.

"I heard Suzan was in labour, and I was so excited for her. I wanted to come see her and maybe assist you guys on the delivery until I heard a strange noise from outside. I headed to the front door by the porch to pick at what was going on and I saw a house collapse...trees where on fire...I didn't know what to do. I suddenly remembered the underground room that we both built. I prayed for you and Richard both with Suzan to be there including the baby. I packed my important stuff in to a bag which lasted for over 15 minutes and headed out of the house with the children. I ran just to be alive for me and my children. I saw a woman being stabbed by the arrow that came across her. Blood surrounded everywhere. I was scared that I wasn't gonna make it. Until I saw the house and ran as fast as I can with the children both in my arms. Half of the roof of the house was already removed and small breakage at the side. I opened the door and went inside down to the basement and locked the door. Hoping no one saw me enter. I opened the underground room door, I let my boy jump in first. He was already in tears both with my girl. We made it down until I noticed the room was lit up with a torch. I looked at the bed and saw you lying down with a baby. Both of you where asleep. I had to wake you up but it looked as if you had passed out, I brought out the water from my bag and sprayed at your face and here we are...i'm talking to you" she exhaled.

"I'm so glad you're here....but where is Suzan and Richard" My face turned into a sad face which made tears form in my eyes. I thought about the question that she asked. I couldn't form words to tell her. I just opening my mouth sobbing.

She gave me a comforting hug. "I'm sorry"she said.

" They were close...so..so close...to living...but Richard...he decided on dying instead on living for his daughter and move on ....but he was too stubborn to realise that. It ...really hurts Helen...it does" she patted my back which made me to cry harder.

" Don't worry, about it... we're gonna make it" she comforted me. Without Helen, what in the world would I be...huh.

"Thanks ...alot...but Suzan died when she was giving birth to Brittany..I think it was out of fear. I don't know what to do helen...I felt like ...ughh" I felt so angry at the moment. It's all my fault.

"Shhhhh...it okay, as long as we know we are always together....they are up there watching and protecting us ..okay...you don't need to be angry...it's not your fault ok" these words made me calm down.

I really wish they where here. But you can't bring back the past. What has happened has happened. Nothing is changing. This only option left is to be strong and keep running ...never give up and your gonna make it.

We ran with the children and all we could bring along hoping not be caught by any vidialian army. If your caught, your dead. Sneaking upon sneaking. We were strong that we climbed fences and we even jumped over the small river because the small bridge was already destroyed and broken down. We exited Cripstin village and made our farewell. Finally out.

We headed for the river and saw people entering a small ship so we went ahead and sneaked in. From there, we ran off hoping not to get caught. Hours past and we got on a small land. We got down, we stayed on the island for a week, and found out we were gonna enter a much more bigger ship. We took off.

Brittany was growing up so fast, she had red autumn hair like her mother and the most beautiful blue sapphire eyes I have ever seen. A year past, there was a small school on the ship so I made Brittany attend it both with Helen's children, Alex and elle. They attended it so they could have a little bit of knowledge. Everything turned out great except for when I heard something unbelievable.

It was said that all female child on this ship that turned 19 where gonna get sold, and that gave me the creeps...I was scared for both Brittany and elle....God help us. This can't get any worse..can it?
