Thousands of years ago, the sky suddenly cracked into tiny, portal-like fragments, as if the day of judgment had arrived. But it was something far more horrifying. These cracks were links to other worlds. People began calling them "gates." Soon after the cracks appeared, armies from different worlds began to invade each other’s territories through these gates, trying to take control of various realms. Chaos ensued everywhere, but the humans of Earth were in the greatest danger because they lacked special powers or advanced machinery to combat these higher beings, who were blessed with special abilities, magic, higher intellect, advanced weaponry, and more.
Soon after the invasions, the Warlocks, who specialized in magic and sorcery, defeated the humans in no time. They realized that although humans were weak, they had immense intellect and potential. Instead of exterminating them, the ruler of the Warlocks chose to enslave them for future use. In the blink of an eye, the weaker realms were overtaken by the stronger ones, and before long, a great war broke out among the higher realms for power and strength. The Warlords were among the strongest beings in the higher realms. They nearly defeated every realm that opposed them, but a significant problem arose when the Great Commander, 'Oculor Dios', the leader of the two most powerful groups 'Cyroin' Sect and 'Oculis' Order and the ruler of the 'Celestra Realm', decided to join the great war.
The 'Cyroin Sect' and 'Oculis Order' were composed of individuals who possessed special optical abilities, such as foresight, bending space-time, illusions, and mind reading. However, not everyone in that realm had these abilities, only those who had experienced true pain, love, betrayal, and suffering could activate their special eyes. Each eye had a different ability, pattern, and name. The more they used their abilities, the more ruthless they became. There was a limit to this, after years of using their powers, they would eventually go blind and become lifeless bodies. Yet, among them was a man who did not lose his vision even after hundreds of years of using his abilities Oculor Dios (the Divine Eye). Dios was the only Celestral being gifted with nine different optic abilities by the heavens. He was a wise man, despite his hatred towards conflict, he knew how to fight, when to fight, and whom to fight.
After many battles, only five realms remained standing:
The Celestra Realm, ruled by Great Dios (this world contains god-level entities that can manipulate reality through their eyes).
The Realm of Eldoria, ruled by Arcantor Xarion (this world contains magicians and sorcerers).
The Realm of Necrosia, ruled by Zephyrus Morgath (this world contains ghouls and fleshfiends).
The Elysion Realm, ruled by Orion the Eternal (the people of this realm have mastered the art of swordsmanship by merging their spirits and blending their souls into their swords).
Cyberia, operated by Electra Vortex (this world has advanced machinery and high-tech weapons capable of destroying worlds in an instant, their soldiers are all modified humans).
Among them, the Celestra Realm was the strongest. The Celestral beings were so powerful that even the supreme ruler of the Warloks, Arcantor, despite his hatred of other realms, decided to join forces with the remaining higher realms. He believed that with such a coalition, he would defeat Great Dios and then rule the realms. However, it was all for naught. The final war began, marked by bloodshed, hatred, anger, and revenge for fallen comrades. All these scattered emotions made the battlefield even more threatening and lethal. The four higher realms were winning until Great Dios activated his Reaper's Glance(one of the nine abilities of Dios: "Reaper's Glance" freezes the soul of every person seen by its user for eternity). Dios alone took out two realms from the battle, and the remaining ones were defeated by the elite knights of the Celestra Realm. The only man standing was Arcantor Xarion. He refused to let go of his sword and charged directly at Great Dios in agony.
Great Dios used his Glimmering Crystal Authority, which allowed him to summon crystals of any shape and size from the sacred realm and command them as he pleased. He summoned small stone-shaped crystals and commanded them to pierce through Arcantor’s body until he could no longer stand. Arcantor managed to destroy 19,542 crystals with his sword and magic. Soon after, his mana (mana is like stamina but used for magic instead of physical strength) ran out, yet the piercing crystals continued to come, piercing him 300 times before he collapsed to his knees. Great Dios stopped the crystals and approached him.
"It is decreed that you shall yield," said Great Dios.
"I, Arcantor, ruler of the Warlocks, shall not bow down to you, even if it means my death, for this shall be my tribute and honor to my fallen comrades," Arcantor said.
"Death, you speak of, yet I have no intentions of slaying you, nor did I bring harm to the other rulers. They are held captive under my territory. My desire is solely to engage in negotiation," said Dios.
"What do you mean by 'negotiation'? What is it that you seek to attain?" Arcantor asked.
"I yearn for this conflict to conclude in tranquility. It is the essence of peace that I seek," proclaimed Dios.
"You speak of peace after causing so much slaughter. Your claims are but lies, you wretched being," Arcantor yelled with anger.
"Peace, order, and justice demand sacrifices, O foolish sorcerer," Dios said with pity in his eyes. "Your people perished by my hands, and other rulers and kings also struck down your followers. Yet this does not negate the truth that you and your allies also slayed my knights and soldiers. What is war to you, my child? There is no victor in warfare—only despair, hatred, blood, and lifeless bodies upon the battlefield. My child, while you and the other rulers pursue strength and power, I seek a world of peace, free from chaos, war, and hatred. But I cannot achieve this alone, I, too, require the power and authority of other rulers. My child of magic, sacrifices were imperative for the greater good. Here, young Arcantor, take my hand, and I shall guide you toward a new world away from darkness, leading you to an evolution yet unseen by these realms."
Great Dios’s sincerity became apparent to Arcantor. He realized that Dios was not lying, he truly wished to guide the rulers, including himself, toward the light. Oculor Dios, alongside Arcantor, managed to convince the other rulers to come to the negotiating table. During the negotiation, Great Dios was able to win over the majority of the rulers from different realms. Although a few initially disagreed, seeing the majority of rulers siding with Great Dios, they were left with no choice but to agree to his terms. Thus, a new era began . But that was just the beginning.
Dios convened a council composed of rulers from the higher realms, each chosen for their unique expertise and suitability for specific responsibilities. Morgath and Orion were designated as the principal guardians of the realms. Under the sagacious leadership of Dios, their formidable strengths were honed to an exceptional degree, ensuring the maintenance of peace and order across the disparate worlds. Electra Vortex, entrusted with overseeing development and technological advancements, swiftly earned Dios’s profound trust. Within the span of a single year, she revolutionized inter-realm progress by introducing cutting-edge machinery that leaped forward into a new era. She was also appointed head of the equipment manufacturing division for the military forces, overseeing the creation of state-of-the-art gear.
Arcantor Xarion, captivated by the visionary ideals espoused by Dios, made a pilgrimage to Celestra following the formation of the alliance. Upon his arrival, Arcantor was deeply impressed by Dios’s philosophy and expressed a fervent desire to serve by his side. With an earnest plea, he requested to be included in Dios's personal task force. Dios, taken aback yet visibly pleased by the request, utilized the 'Aletheia Insight'(one of his nine abilities , allows Dios to tell whether someone is lying or not ) for the very first and last time to verify the sincerity of Arcantor's words. Reassured of their authenticity, Dios said;
"To attain this role, you must first prove your worth."
Arcantor asked "What task would you have me undertake to prove my worth?"
Before Dios was able to say anything Mark Lucious interfered and said ;
"My Lord, for which role do you seek to test this wizard?"
"My young Mark, I am considering appointing him as the Holy Knight, for none have taken up that role in the last hundred years."said Dios.
"But my Lord, Mathilda and I have stood by your side for the longest time. Why, then, do you need a Holy Knight? And if such a knight is truly required, we should be the rightful candidates for the position, not some outsider." furiously pledged Mark.
(After the ruler /king the second in command is the Holy Knight)
Dios angrily said "I alone hold the right to make that choice, and you are in no position to dictate what I should or should not do, whom I shall choose and whom I shall not. I hold you in great respect, young Mark, but you are overstepping your boundaries. You dare to call this man an outsider—have you no honor left, to address a guest with such disrespect? I am ashamed to call you my right hand."
...
Dios calmed down and said ;
"If you consider yourself so worthy, then how about a battle with this wizard for the highest of all positions in the realm, Mark? Should you win, I shall promote both you and Mathilda as Holy Knights. But if he prevails, you both shall serve under him in the special task force. I offer you this chance to prove your worth."
" I , Mark Lucios , the Marshal of Cyroin Sect , shall fight Arcantor Xarion to prove my worth to my lord ." Mark said.
"As I expected Mark ." Dios said with an enjoyable grin on his face .
Dios looked at Arcantor and asked ;
"Are you prepared for this battle? as this is the sole opportunity for you to prove your talent"
"May I request something?" asked Arcantor .
Dios said with curiosity "and what might that be?"
"I would like to fight the marshal of Oculis Order, Mathilda Brown at the same time ." Arcantor answered .
"You arrogant wizard." shouted Mark.
"How intriguing." Dios said with an ammusing tone.
"As you wish." siad Dios.
Mark siad "My lord ! bu..."
"no 'buts' Mark" said Dios.
"Understood , My lord." Mark siad with rage .
Mathilda Brown was summoned shortly thereafter, and the details were relayed to her in the interim. Surprisingly, she appeared overjoyed, despite her longstanding hatred for magicians. She envisioned humiliating Arcantor on the battlefield after her victory. Before long, the battle was set to commence.Mark and Mathilda, with hatred and jealousy, determined to assert their superiority, advanced towards Arcantor with unwavering resolve. However, as they closed in, Arcantor unleashed a spell:
"Chains of Elysian Love, Wraiths of Unease, by the decree of 'Yami', I invoke the Shackles of Hatred forged in the accursed hearts. Bound by the Eternal Night’s Embrace, I render your movements immobile, sealing your fate with the cosmic chains of divine retribution." (Yami is a book of Eldoria written by Arcantor , consist of most dangerous and difficult magic spells)
The earth beneath them quaked violently as chains from the underworld emerged, ensnaring Mark and Mathilda with an inescapable grip, rendering them immobile. The confrontation was decisively concluded before it even truly began. Dios, overjoyed by the swift resolution, congratulated Arcantor with the holy sword'Kami no Kiba'(the Blade of the Divine), a symbol of divine favor and power. From that moment forward, Arcantor solidified his role as 'Dios’s Holy Knight' and became his most devoted servant , working together to forge a path toward enlightenment, unifying the realms in the pursuit of justice, peace, and love .Dios was very polite and non-hostile towards common civilians, no matter the world. Despite having the authority to command Arcantor, he humbly requested him to release the humans and let them free. Arcantor agreed and set the humans free. Soon, Electra Vortex, along with her team, introduced teleporters that made traveling from one world to another a matter of minutes. These teleporters required a small amount of mana for teleportation . With this invention, all kinds of different species gradually came to know each other. New bonds were made, and in no time, everything seemed beautiful. It was obvious that not everyone was happy with this sudden alliance, but it was okay.
Years passed. Electra and Morgath died, and Orion was on his deathbed. Only Arcantor was in his prime state because of magic and the long life of Eldorian people. After living this long, he claimed the titles The Sword of Dios and Demonic Angel due to his strong sense of justice and frightening methods, and because of his utmost loyalty towards Dios. After the death of Orion, there were some commotions, but everything went smoothly under Arcantor's watch until one night when Arcantor came to Dios and said:
"My lord!!!"
"Yes..." Dios said softly.
Arcantor began to gather every ounce of mana, magic, and spirit into his sword.
Dios noticed it, and gently turned around , Arcantor moved closer to him , Dios said with a heartbroken tone ;
"Forgive me, Arc..."
*slash*
Dios felt a deep cut on his chest as blood began to spill. As he looked into Arcantor's eyes, he offered a bittersweet smile, his face revealing a deep, sorrowful acceptance, before collapsing onto the ground.. Arcantor did not stop there , he knew that the only way to kill Dios was to pierce his heart but his heart was bounded by the indestructable layers of hardened blood created by Dios's Ketsugan(one of the nine tecniques possessed by Dios , allows him to manipulate blood)Arcantor relentlessly continued his assault on Dios, delivering exactly 99 powerful slashes to his chest. Each strike cut through layer after layer of flesh, until finally all the layers were taken down, Arcantor thrust his hand into the gaping wound, seizing Dios’s still-warm, beating heart. With a grim resolve, he pulled the heart out and crushed it within his grasp. The room was drenched in a shower of Dios’s blood, and Arcantor’s face was ful of it . His eyes, devoid of life, bore a haunting emptiness. Despite the gravity of his actions, he wore a teary grin, his hands trembling with profound anguish...Soon after that, Arcantor killed every celestial being present on Celestra and sealed the gate connecting Celestra to other realms. To this day, the gate of Celestra is visible in the sky, but no one can pass through it as no one is able to break through the seal that was set by the King of Magic himself.
"But how in the world was Arcantor able to kill Mr. Dios in the first place?" said Yuuske.
"It's written in this book , the one I read had a slightly different tale." Satoshi said.
"So you mean these are nothing but stories?"Yuuske said
"Well I don't go that far , but I guess none of these history books have accurate lore of the past." Satoshi answered.
"Let's assume this one just now was the actual one, so then what to you think happened to Arcantor after that?" Yuuske asked with curiosity.
"According to some ancient legends, he is still alive and living in Celestra alone," Satoshi said.
"It must have been hard living alone alone all these years ." Yuuske said sadly.
"Yu, I guess that's it for the day also I have to leave now to meet your father .He is going to announce something at the world's national press conference ."said Satoshi
.(the world's national council f refers to a council formed by members of remaining realms , consists strong ability holders , strategists across realms , politicians, etc)
"Okay then, give my regards to Dad and good luck." said Yuuske.
"by by Yu , see you soon ." said Satoshi.
"Yeah see you soon" Said Yuuske.
Foot Notes:
(Ketsugan :To use Ketsugan, Dios must first consume a drop of the blood he wishes to manipulate. Once he has done so, he can command this blood with astounding precision. The manipulation is not limited to mere control; Dios can transform the blood into various forms and uses. For instance, he can harden it into solid structures, reshape it into different shapes, or even extend it as tentacles or ropes. In combat, he might form the blood into a deadly sword or a spear, even creating internal weapons within his victims’ bodies, making it an extremely dangerous and versatile ability.
Yuuske Izumi: 14-year-old boy, black hair with a dark purple shade, purple-shaded eyes, no special abilities currently activated.
Satoshi Gojou: 32-year-old male, white hair with a silver shade, blue crystal-colored eyes, holds the position of the second strongest being in the world, possesses special eyes called "Mights," abilities regarding these eyes will be disclosed in the future.)
After recounting the old lore to Yuuske , Satoshi headed straight to the Council Bureau.
“How have you been, Mr. Gojou?” asked Ken Kirishima.
“I’m well. Have you seen him around yet?” Satoshi replied.
“Yes, Master just went inside and is about to go live,” Ken said.
“Oh hell, I’m late!” Satoshi exclaimed in a panic.
“You better hurry, or you know what will happen,” Ken warned with a smirk.
Without another word, Satoshi sprinted toward the press room. As he flung open the door, Izumi Suguru stood before him, draped in a long black coat, his thick black hair flowing as he fixed the room with a piercing gaze. His silver eyes, cold and mesmerizing, scanned the audience. Everyone took their seats as the press broadcast began to reach audiences across multiple worlds.
Suguru spoke, his voice calm yet commanding:
"Allow me to introduce myself. Many of you already know who I am. My name is Izumi Suguru, one of Earth’s vanguard representatives. My duty, like that of the other vanguards, is simple: to enforce order and eliminate threats. In a world overrun with weaklings, cowards, and those foolish enough to misuse their powers, we exist to ensure the balance doesn’t tip. Since the gates opened and the worlds merged, nearly 40 percent of humanity has become hybrids, gifted through cross-breeding with other species. Some use their powers for good; others, for chaos. It makes no difference to me. If you threaten the balance, I’ll destroy you. Mercy is irrelevant .But don’t mistake me for some noble figure here to preach about such complicated fables .I’m not here to talk about something everyone will eventually hear on the news. The reason I’m here is th....."
A reporter stood up, challenging Suguru. “Mr. Izumi, in the last press conference, David James, the Leader Of Black Tigers Association, said almost the exact same thing and failed to present any solutions for the rising crime rates. What are you and the other vanguards trying to communicate to the public and what were the heroes doing when the crimes were being committed?Do you guys even realise how many people could have died in the recent incident at Goshi Tower?”
Suguru answered “I am well aware of that but it is not my concern today. Today, I’m here to announce that I’m forming my own association. If anyone watching has the talent, you are welcome to join.”
“What? Your own association?” Satoshi thought in shock. “I’ve been telling you to do this for years, and you didn’t even tell me, you bastard!”
A second reporter jumped in. “It’s about time Mr.Izumi someone is that why you refused to join other association that tried to approached you in the past?
"You can say that ."
A third reporter presented a question "Mr. Izumi, what will be your Association's main objective?”
Suguru’s expression darkened, and his voice took on a chilling tone. “My only goal is to destroy the Nova Foundation.”
The room fell into silence. The first reporter, regaining their composure, asked, “The Nova Foundation? But that’s the academy that teaches children to reach their full potential. You yourself spent your childhood there.”
Suguru’s eyes narrowed. “The truth will come out soon enough. And—”
*Boom.*
A distant explosion cut him off. Chaos erupted as civilians panicked, traffic ground to a halt, and people scattered in every direction. Suguru and Satoshi rushed to the window, their eyes widening in disbelief as they saw a nearby building reduced to rubble. This wasn’t supposed to happen.
Suddenly, a colossal hologram appeared, visible across every world. It depicted a man with long black hair tied in a ponytail and a mask covering his mouth, leaving only his cold red eyes visible.
"Greetings, humans, ghouls, magicians, robots, hybrids. I know you're all wondering who I am, what I am. But my identity is irrelevant. What matters is what I've done. It’s mesmerizing, isn’t it? The ability to traverse these gates and explore worlds beyond your imagination. It defies all comprehension.
But have you ever considered what lies beyond the final gate? No, of course not. It’s been sealed, guarded by magic so ancient and powerful, you were told it was unbreakable. Yet here we are. I’ve undone the third of the ten seals that bar entry to Celestra. Anyone strong enough, with magic potent enough to withstand gravity ten times that of Earth, can now step through.
That’s all I have for you, for now. The rest? Well, I leave that to you... heroes."
His mocking voice echoed ominously before the hologram vanished.
“Do you think he’s lying?” Satoshi asked, his voice tight with unease.
Suguru’s face was grim. “Most likely not , but who is he?”
*"*beats me " siad Satoshi.
Dark energy began to seep from the gate of Celestra, swiftly consuming the sky. Thick, black clouds gathered overhead, casting a shadow that blotted out all light, plunging the world into darkness. The air grew heavy with an unnatural stillness, as if the very atmosphere was holding its breath in anticipation of what was to come. A suffocating tension spread, and an eerie silence settled over the land, amplifying the sense of impending doom. The sky itself seemed to tremble under the weight of the malevolent force, as if nature was bracing for the chaos that lay ahead.
“What do we do now?” *asked Satoshi.
*Ring\, ring.*
“Hello?”
“I assume you’ve seen what just happened?” the president of the vanguards asked.
“Yes, I saw everything,” Suguru replied.
“Then gather a search party and investigate the cursed sealed gate immediately. You don’t need to enter it—just reinforce the seal or sever the connection.”
“And the masked man?” *asked Suguru.
“David's and Kisaki's teams are already tracking him. Focus on the gate. And don’t do anything reckless,” the president warned.
“Understood.”
*Click*
“Let’s go, Sato,” Suguru said.
“Where to?” Satoshi asked curiously .
Suguru pointed toward the distant gate of Celestra.
"Orders from the above , hun ." said Satoshi with a grin.
Satoshi and Suguru quickly assembled a team of elite magicians and flew towards the gate. Upon arrival, they found three layers of the seal already broken. The magicians worked tirelessly, casting spell after spell, but nothing could repair the barrier, nor could they create a new seal.
“Sir, none of our magic is working on the barrier,” Foxen reported, frustration in his voice.
“I thought as much." said Suguru
"It is what it is .Now great job, everyone. Head back and inform the higher-ups that nothing can fix the seal. Foxen, take charge here,” Satoshi instructed.
“Are you leaving, sir?” Foxen asked, concerned.
Satoshi smirked. “Yes, we’re going on a little trip.”
Foxen’s eyes widened in alarm. “Don’t tell me you’re planning to enter Celestra! Please reconsider—it's madness! That realm is now overrun by dark forces.”
“Don’t worry,” Satoshi reassured him. “Besides, I have him with me.”
"Still , it is dangerous and the president will never allow it ." * Foxen said .
"That means you didn't saw us going there , am I clear here?" Asked Satoshi .
"But that's ju........."
"Hurry up Sato , we don't have all day ." Suguru said with frustration.
"Coming right up " said Satoshi "Just cover for us last time Foxi ."
*winked*
Satoshi and Suguru entered the gate of Celectra .The moment they set there foots in the Celestral Realm, they were hit by unimaginable pain. The barrier’s gravitational force felt as though it was pulling their souls from their bodies. Enduring the agony, they managed to pass through the gate.
As they landed on a nearby mountain, their eyes fell upon the ruins of the once-great palace of Dios, now a distant silhouette in a world steeped in darkness.
