prologue
It's already midnight but I'm still awake. Waiting for the person who is not sure if he will go home.
I'm here on the balcony of our condo. I was sitting on the rocking chair, while watching the lights flickering at night.
I took my phone out of my hoodie, and tried to call him for the fifth time again.
And as I expected. He's still not answering, like the first one. I called him again and this time, he answered.
Aldrich Masen Fortelejos
What! Do you need something?! I can't go home tonight, we were going to Makati because our client is there."
He quickly said and immediately hung up...
I laughed weakly. Ok, he forgot for the second time again.
He hasn't been home for a week, he said, because of his damn work.
It's our 9th year anniversary today— and for the second time, he forgot again.
And it's already over.
I put my phone back in my hoodie and stared again at the lights almost twinkling in the sunrise
I slowly rock the rocking chair, and holding back the impending tears that wanted to flow from my eyes.
Oh fuck, I'm going to cry... Again?
'Fuck Clyde, aren't you used to it?'
I thought I was, but I'm not. The pain is still the same as last year. Does he still think about me? Or our relationship? Or am I just being dramatic, like he said?
The pain in my heart, what he told me before is still fresh as Fuck! I am crazy or what.
I wiped the tears falling from my eyes. I missed the old Aldrich, the Aldrich who always thought about me, cared about me, and paid attention to me. And Aldrich who always tells me that he always loves me.
Because of those thoughts. I just cried more.
I leaned my head on the rocking chair, and closed my eyes.
As soon as I closed my eyes, I remembered our happy memories in Marikina park. We were in college at that time, and it was our first anniversary and we went there, because I didn't want someone to prepare food.

My eyes widened and I returned to where I was standing earlier because of his shout.

I almost whispered at the end.
People are looking at us, but this man, it doesn't matter.
He sulked at me more and gave me a pouting lips. I just closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
Damn! These guys are so crazy...
'I don't look at people anymore, and I don't care if we are judged.
I'm just going to do what he wants to, coz his so fucking embarrassing.
I pulled his collar to me, and gave him the fucking french kiss.
Every movement of our lips is intense, as if we have our own world.

"Hmm... Let's go to the pirate ship babe!"
He excitedly pulled me to the pirate ship. We got on ship and boasted that he wouldn't shout.

"FUCKK!!! AHHHHHH!!! STOPPED THE FUCKING SHIP!!! PABABAIN NIYO 'KO DITO!"
He screamed and clung to me.
I couldn't scream, because I was laughing at him. He is like a child caught in a fight.

"I thought you wouldn't scream?"
I teased him when we got down.

"Really? Even if I give you a french kiss every day?"

He turned his gaze to me. "Even if you give me a head every day babe, i will not get on that fucking ship ever again. Even if I get old."
I was surprised by what he said and hit him on the arm.

"Head?! You think differently do you?, wanna do it??"
He smirked and gave me a seductive look.
I elbowed him and immediately stood up.

I walked away from him and I could feel him following me.
He caught up with my footsteps, and now we are almost at the same pace.

"do you want a head babe? I will give you if you want,"
He put his arms around me.
I quickened my pace and he also quickened his pace. So I ran. He chased me. And we are like children chasing nothing.
I felt fingers tap my forehead so I opened my eyes a little. I fell asleep thinking about those memories.

I saw the man bending over me. "Why are you sleeping there?! Don't you have any legs?! The bed is just across from you, you're torturing yourself!"
I checked the time on my wrist watch and it was getting late in the afternoon.
Shit! It's been so long since I fell asleep.
I stood up and stretched, I rubbed my neck because of the pain of my neck earlier. I watched the beautiful view for a while, here on the balcony before going inside.
I didn't see Aldrich in our room or in the living room. So i think he's taking a bath.
I went to the kitchen to cook our dinner. I opened the stove to heat the pan. I turned my neck for a while because of the pain I felt.
I felt arms wrapping around my waist and his hair was still wet.

"Babe i miss you.."
He whispered and kissed my ears.
Miss you? But you forgot?

I was about to put some oil on the pan I was heating, but he suddenly grabbed my wrist to face him.

"WHY ARE YOU ANGRY?! ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU NEED THAT'S WHY YOU BOTHERED ME?!"
I pulled back my pulse, but he was too strong.

"What the hell! Can you let me go!"
He violently let go of my pulse. I immediately turned off the stove. And would have walked out.
He was about to hold my hand again, but I immediately took it back.

I cried at the end, because I couldn't take the pain anymore, and I was full.

I straight stared at his frowned eyes.

"Don't act like a girl?' I'm not acting like a girl, I'm just saying that you've changed a lot, because I miss you. I miss the old you. I just let you know that you were changed. So where's the drama there."
I wanted to say those words to him, but I couldn't.
I just cried in front of him.

He pissed. And went to the door outside and closed it loudly.
I just sat down and leaned against the kitchen counter cabinet. And continue cry.
