I lived a pretty nice life and the day of my death was a pretty nice day too, cause I didn't have to work that day.

It would've been devastating to work at the office for nine hours staright and then travel in the overly packed subway, only to end up getting squashed by a truck on the way to home.

I would've definitely become a ghost and haunt my boss for the rest of his life.

If I was going to die anyway, why go to the office? I'd rather chill that day.

Luckily it was a holiday and I did what I do on every holiday I get.

So I was just chilling on the bed thinking which internet novel I should read next when that certain novel piqued my interest.

'A Lovely Girl'

It was a fine story. Besides I got to bitch about Adailia, the living (well not exactly living) definition of a bitch and the main villainess of the novel.

She was an overly spoiled brat who only liked to harass people (especially my poor baby Raashid:() 76

I would get agitated and angry whenever her name was mentioned and she would do something absurd. And to show this agitation I would randomly comment like

'BISH DIE DIE DIE!!' or ' HANDS OFF MA BABY!!!

Or sometimes sympathize with Seanna, the poor child stuck with Adalia, commenting, 'Seanna doesn't deserve this shit!!!' or something along the lines.

When I was on chapter 15 or so I realized that I've already read this story. I had its paperback edition during highschool. The plot was very similar. I actually kinda remembered it cause even though the book was interesting in its first half, it's ending was pretty messed up.

After the male protagonist Raashid falls in love with Seanna, Adailia goes all killer mode, tries to kill Seanna. But as soon as the crown prince became the emperor he changed some laws and executed Adailia publicly.

It would've been nice if the author would've just stopped here and added 'and then they lived happily ever after' but no!

Adailia being the daughter of the archduke and the richest man of the empire, he initiated a war.

The war was devastating and the empire got ruined and the entire archduke's family with most of the nobles died in the war.

Leaving Raashid and Seanna to start a new common life in someplace new.

Like.....

Just because of a stupid bitch's death an entire empire suffered.

But nonetheless, I decided to continue reading it cause I didn't have anything else to read.

Around a minute later, my mom texted me telling me to bring some gift for Eunah. My sweet little sister was having her first piano concert so of course, I had to go.

Eunah and I had a pretty nice relationship and I would die for her.

I quickly shut my phone pulled on a jacket took my wallet and walked out of my apartment locking it.

I lived alone in Seoul while mom, dad and Eunah lived in our house back in the countryside.

I was standing at the signal to cross the road when I thought about continuing reading the story I pulled out my phone and started reading. I noticed the lights turning green, so I walked still reading.

Well, that was a mistake. But you can't blame me. I never thought that I would get run over by a truck whose driver seemed to be screaming something like, 'THE BRAKES ARE BROKEN!!"

Well, I'm not gonna give any graphic details about my death, but it was painful and before everything went black, I remember seeing a person who had white hair. And that wasn't unique though (I've seen quite a few people dye their hair white in Korea, especially idols), he had red eyes. Or maybe that was just a trick my eyes played after getting hit by the truck.

Anyway, back to the present. Where exactly am I?

I got up and sat on the very very extremely soft bed (unlike the one I have at home) and looked around. It was a very nice, chic and classy place. The room was twice the size as my entire apartment. It had another four doors, two of them side by side in front of the bed while one big door was on the right and the other on the left of the bed, a dressing table and a study table (and big fat bed of course). There was one flaw though, everything was pink.

I thought about getting up when I noticed some locks of pink hair on the clothes that I seemed to be wearing.

What the....??

I touched the long strand and tried to pull it.

"Oww!" I whined. This hair seemed to be attached to my head.

Wait....

WHY MY HEAD??????

AND WHY PINK?????

Wasn't I supposed to be dead? Then why is my hair pink???

Did I got drunk yesterday and did some stupid shit and imagine all the accident??

No. The accident was too real (and painful) and I wouldn't dye my hair pink even if I was drunk.

I got up to see my myself in front of the mirror. And the sight was shocking.

"Who the fuck is this??" I exclaimed and so the person in the mirror.

I scowled. And so did the person in the mirror.

I slapped myself and so did the person in the mirror.

Okay, that hurt.

"So it seems like a normal mirror." I muttered to myself, examining my new self in the mirror.

Light soft pink hair, pale fair skin, emerald green eyes, rose pink lips and a beauty that couldn't be described.

Yes..... That sort of a beautiful person..... Somehow..... Was me.

But the description..... Was familiar.

It was almost like I was, Adailia de Perinius, the bitch.

Lol. I don't even know how that's possible-

"Lady Adailia, are you awake?" Came a female voice from outside.

Holy shit!

Is Adailia here?

Why is she here?

Why am I here?

And why do I look like Adailia?

"Lady Adailia?" Called the female voice from outside.

What am I supposed to do?

"I'm coming in lady, please forgive me."

The door slowly opened and I gulped unconsciously.

The door opened and a girl in her late teens appeared.

Wow!?

If I thought my new self was beautiful, the girl in front of me was twice as beautiful.

She had amber coloured eyes and long black hair. She wore a decent dress and her hands looked pretty rough but she still managed to look so pretty and delicate.

"Oh Lady Adailia! You're awake?" She said looking at me.

Okay now something is definitely wrong.

Me?? Adailia??

Oh puh-lees! I'm ten-no- hundred times better than her shitty ass.

After I didn't reply, a tense expression took over the girls face and she started stuttering, "Uhh-wh- what's wr-wrong-ng, my l-lady?"

Why is she panicking???

Aren't I supposed to be the one freaking out of my head cause somehow my soul has entered a completely different person's body when I'm supposed to quietly be ascending to Heaven???

But I still managed remain calm and replied her, "...... I just... Woke up."

The girl even looked more frightened, "I-i am so sorry. I-i didn't th-think before ra-raising my voice."

Uhh- okay. But girl you need to chill. I ain't gonna kill you.

This poor soul must be thinking that she somehow woke me.

Wait- Poor soul?

Why did I think she was a poor soul?

Hmm... Well she looked pitiful and there's something about her screaming, 'I have a terrible sob- sob backstory and have to deal with shit everyday'

And there's only one person I could think of at that very moment.

"Seanna?" I muttered unconsciously looking at the girl in front of me who flinched and looked up at me saying," Y-yes?"

Holy shit!

Is this really Seanna the poor child who had to deal with that Adailia trash for 10 fucking years??

And currently, she is calling me Adailia.

Not to mention I do look like Adailia.

".... Bring me my morning tea." I deadpanned.

It was the first thing I could think of. Because it was the first thing Adailia said in the novel. The novel began with this scene.

"Oh- of course. Yes!" Seanna said and ran off.

I once again looked at the pretty face front of me.

The villainess of the novel.

Who will get killed by the male protagonist, Raashid de Obelia, the crown prince.

Well, well, I do want Adailia to die.... But not when I'm in her body.

After thinking about it for fifteen minutes and drinking the wonderfully calming tea, I have come to a conclusion.

I somehow reincarnated as Adailia de Perinius.

There's still a possibility that this is all some sort of dream but the tea was too realistically delicious for such a delusion.

Or maybe....... Someone saved me from dying and then cured me and then performed a plastic surgery and then transported me over here far from Seoul and then put me here in place of some other girl named named 'Adailia' who so happened to have a maid called Seanna.

......that just sounds absurd.

Well, let's just say I'm in the novel.

I am pretty sure this is the beginning of the novel. That means there's still 7 months left for Adailia to die.

So I need to...... Find a way to get out of this novel. Yes.

But what if I am stuck here forever??

Well, that forever is only 7 months before I'm gonna get my head detached from the rest of my body.

Okay, let's just summarize everything.

I, Choi Haeun, is in a novel and I'm the villainess. And I need to like... Not die.

The novel began with introducing the female protagonist Seanna Bares. Seanna was an illegitimate child of the Baron who had a lot-lot of debt to the archduke, sold his daughter to him as a companion for Adailia.

In this world, a companion is an adopted brother or sister. Since there was a rule that all the nobles shall only have one child, to avoid conflicts for the title, the single child of the house felt alone without a sibling. So there came a system where the nobles hired an orphan kids to accompany their child. Usually a companion and the noble's kid get along well and are treated like a part of their own family.

Seanna was sold as a companion for Adailia by her own family. But their relationship was anything but sisterly. She was bullied, humiliated and insulted every day by Adailia. She was like her personal maid.

But the poor kid took it all without a word. Her misery continued for ten years till she met the male protagonist Raashid.

Raashid was the crown prince of the empire. Adailia liked him since they were kids. They were nice friends at the start but soon her possessiveness started showing and they became more distant till the point he hated her to death.

On his 18 th birthday, he was sent to the Royal Academy for giving all the necessary tests and prove his worth as the next emperor. Actually, all Princes were supposed to attend the Royal Academy as soon as they turned 6 but Raashid was homeschooled because he wanted to avoid Adailia (who was also in the Royal Academy) as much as possible.

As soon as he saw Seanna in the academy, getting bullied by Adalia, he felt pity and protective towards her. And this pity turned into love after he got to know Seanna better. And after Adalia tried to kill Seanna, he became enraged.

But he couldn't simply punish her or imprison her. After all, she was the daughter of the archduke. So once he became the emperor on his 19 th birthday, he changed some laws that enabled him to execute any high noble for attempt murder on any commoner or a person of low status.

So after Adailia's execution, the archduke called for a war which lasted for years. After the war ended the empire was ruined and Seanna and Raashid moved to another empire to begin a new life as a commoner.

The end.

Now the problem is I only know less than half of the events that will take place since I died before finishing the entire book.

Welp. Raashid is 18 now and half a session has passed in the royal academy (since it's midterm breaks going on) I'll need to get out of here before 7 months.

And the time I'm still here, I'll just try and avoid meeting Raashid. I'll try and act like her (not that bad though) so nobody gets suspicious.

Let's just act up till I figure out a way to to get out of this novel.

When I was lost in my own thoughts, Seanna very cautiously spoke up, "Ahmm.. Lady Adailia, should I prepare a bath for you?"

"Ah..yes." I replied, just noticing her presence.

She bowed and went to one of the doors in the room. I frowned.

Wasn't it a maid's job to prepare something like a bath? A companion was like someone of a higher status.

But then I realized, Seanna was treated like a personal maid rather than a sister by Adailia.

I feel bad for her. There were some scenes in the novel where I remember crying out of pity.

After a few minutes Seanna told me that the bath was ready and I went inside as two other maids along with Seanna herself followed me inside.

The bathroom was the size of my apartment. The tiles were made of marble and there all types of oils and soaps circling around a tub filled with warm water which was also made of marble.

Now I can't wait to take a dip.

But....

Why aren't these maids and Seanna leaving??

"Why are you still standing there?" I asked and they all just gave me a confused look.

Uh- ever heard of personal space?

"Leave." I said after a minute of just standing there, staring at them and them staring at me.

"If we leave then who will wash the lady?" Asked the maid in a small voice.

Wh-what- They are planning to WASH me??

"No!" I shouted unconsciously but quickly composed myself and said, "I can wash myself you guys can leave."

They seemed reluctant so I had to use the' villainess' act. I glared at them menacingly and added, "Don't make me repeat myself." They flinched and all scurried out of the bathroom, closing it.

I sighed, undressed and climbed inside the tub, getting all comfortable.

The bath was heavenly and washed all my thoughts away.

After soaking for half an hour I got up, grabbed a fluffy towel and dried my (Adailia's) body.

While doing so, all I could think of was, ' Damn! She has a killer body.'

There was a pink bathrobe which I used to cover my, well not exactly my but Adailia's body. I opened the door and again entered my room.

Now.... Where are the clothes?

There was another door just beside the bath room and I decided to enter. As soon as I opened the door I gasped. The room was filled with a rows of clothes as far as the I could see. All different and beautiful. And the room itself was thrice the size of the my old apartment.

Now, why must you make me feel so poor??

I noticed two maids and Seanna were already in there, "Lady Adailia, what do you think about this dress?" One of the maids asked.

I looked at the blue dress for a minute before replying, "Fine." That dress wasn't just 'fine', it was a piece of art, but let's not act so out of the character.

Then we all just stood there for a minute. I was patiently waiting for them to get out so I could change. But they just stood there waiting for me to strip.

"Get out." I said. I didn't like to be rude but what I'm doing right now is already so out of character for Adailia, I don't want them to get anymore suspicious.

"But if we leave who is going to dress my-"

"I'm not a baby and can change on my own so could like just leave?" I said, annoyed.

"Now don't make me repeat myself again." I added and they scurried out of the closet.

I put on a pair of very sexy undergarments, not like I had a choice, all of them were like that.

And the dress, even though it was very pretty, it was super revealing.

I tried to find for something comfortable and less revealing to wear and after 20 fucking minutes I actually got a decent dress.

I got out of the dressing room and the maids knitted their brows together and one of the maids very cautiously said, "Lady Adailia, I think you might have forgotten that you wore that 2 years ago on last week of October."

I was actually about to say 'So?' but then it suddenly hit me.

This girl's rich ass doesn't wear the same clothes twice (And I don't get why she still keeps them).

"Well, they are my clothes and I feel like wearing them again, so I do." I said and shrugged and nobody spoke anything after that.

About a minute later a knight knocked and gave me a message about the breakfast being ready in another 10 minutes. The maids quickly styled my hair and I was walking down a long-long- super long passage.

But....

I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE THE DINING ROOM WAS!!!

I stopped walking and glanced back. Seanna was following me.

In the novel, she would also join the family while eating (as any other companion would) and Adailia didn't like it but kept quite about it cause her father and mother who invited Seanna. She would later bully and taunt her for that.

"Hey!" I said.

Seanna flinched and looked at me.

"Walk in front of me." I said.

She was about to open her mouth to say something but I quickly added, "Just do what I tell you to do. Don't question me." I said firmly (ugh-I feel bad for her).

She nodded and walked in front of me.

I followed her from behind. And after 15 minutes of walk (this house is fucking huge) we finally reached the dinning room.

The door was opened by the guard who bowed later. I entered the room and almost gasped. Almost. If Adailia's room was enormous, this is nothing.

The room was ridiculously large. I mean how is that even possib- oh wait.

This is the world in a novel.

Anything is possible.

I tried my best not to look in awe and walked over to the ridiculously long wooden table placed at the centre of the room. A woman with pink hair and blue eyes was sitting on one of the chairs and looking at me she beamed. She looked like she was in her mid 40s.

Is this the mother? She looks nice though.

And opposite to her sat a man with black hair and emerald eyes looked at me and smiled saying, "Morning Lia dear, did you sleep well, my little princess?"
