It was evening. There's a girl......heading home from her school. Then she heard a sound, coming. Likewise, she looked around. She saw someone behind a tree.......tried to look, but suddenly she saw a weird stuff and started screaming "please!Someone save me. It's scary." She collapsed down.



 After a while........she woke up. She was in her room. Then someone screamed....... Hey, Naina! Wake up and get ready for your school." It's her mom. " Yeah mom! I'm on it. She got ready and got down from her room, started having breakfast........" What could it be? I can't still believe that it was just a dream. so weird! " Then her mom said, Well! Goodluck for your today's Karate tournament.

Naina said, Yeah, mom! Thank you. She took her bag and started heading school. Then a boy, wearing the same uniform joined her. " Naina! You're confident You sure you're going to win?" he asked. She smiled..... Yeah! You just enjoy watching the tournament, and I'm going to win, Tom! "Don't hurt them too badly" said Tom. She was like...... C'mon! Stop kidding around. There's no way I could hurt them for a reason. It's just a tournament. He giggled, listening to her.

In that way....they reached school. After a while.......the tournament begun. Tom sat at the end and started watching. "Naina! I'm sure, you're going to win this. The fact is, even I couldn't stand to her. I wonder how these poor girls(opponents) will manage to with stand and fight against her. He closed his eyes, just listening to those hard screams. It wasn't too late, they announced the winner. Naina won. One of her opponent came to talk her, "You were totally cool there."

The time began to move. Sun started fading. It's the end of the day. Everyone headed back to their homes. Tom was at the school gate, waiting for Naina. She was still in the classroom, the corridor is empty. "Seems like everyone left already. I need to hurry. Tom will be waiting for me.".......she rushed.

There is a sound. She looked around. "I felt like someone's following me."......she worried.

"My, My! You figured it out."......a voice came from her back. She was all shocked seeing. It was just like in her dream, she had the last night.



Her mind's totally gone blank for a while. That weird thing! It's just like a ghost possessing a human like body." Well! You did a great job in the tournament."

She questioned him back......"Who the heck are you? How'd you know all that stuff?"

"Don't worry, girl! I'll tell you everything when the right time comes."......that weird thing just vanished. She was a bit scared and came out. Tom's been waiting for her, this whole time. He was like...."c'mon, Naina! What took you so long?" She was all tensed, "Sorry about that. "

He was like....." Fine!see you tomorrow."

Naina reached her home.

She went to her room and started studying.

Everything's calm.

But..........

Something began to drop on her book. It's like a black ink. She looked at the ceiling...........!

Something began to drop on her book. It's like a black ink. She looked at the ceiling......!

She started gasping hardly!" What exactly are you?"

"Now, there's no need to worry. As I already mentioned you earlier.....in the school....."the weird stuff stood in front of her.

"Don't tell me that you're a ghost, came here to have my soul".... Naina screamed.

Smirking......" Hey! Just listen to me. If I'm a ghost for real, then why would You think I left you in the school?"

She talked nothing.

Suddenly! She threw all her books on him to escape from the room. But, all those books just passed through him.

She was like......" There's no doubt. You are ghost.....for real."

The weird stuff screamed......." Yeah, damn it! That's what people call me. I was once a human too...! You have to listen to me. I don't have much time left. Listen! I came here to talk. Try to understand."

She started listening to that thing.

"My name's Kai. I used to be a human, studying in same school as you do. One day I've read an article about gaining invisibility. Back then, I was so interested in this sort of things. The article was clear. I wanted to give it a try. Having decided to test it on myself, I sneaked into school's laboratory. That was the gigantic mistake I've done. Everything went smooth. But then, the chemical turned into black........ I was about to touch it, and that was the last second......to my human life. All of the sudden! My body turned into black. Just like a shadow. I didn't know....how to face myself to this world again. All I hear when I run through someone is GHOST! I was all alone. No matter how hard I tried, this body of mine doesn't turn back into normal. My parents worried a lot, searching all the city. I was unable to live with them, even I was still there. A few days passed. May be mom and dad lost hope on me that, they stopped searching.

I wrote a fake suicide letter and left it in my room. Mom found it in no time, bursting into tears, said about the letter to dad. They were all depressed.....that they couldn't even find my body. The other day.... I've realised! It's about my power! I can control the dark! Like some sort of energy and shadow! I wanted to use it for the better, to help the people around. But then, I came to know that.....my body could no longer live like this. I managed to know a bit more about my capabilities. I can lend all these power to a human, by doing so..... I'll disappear forever. I know! It's hard to believe but, this is the truth."

After listening to him, Naina was like...." I believe you. So what are you going to do now?"

Kai bowed down....."Naina! I'm begging you. Will you carry my will and take responsibility, to protect this people? Please....I want to lend my power to you. Only you can do this.

After hearing to Kai's backstory, Naina began to think.

Kai was like....."Naina! Please.... I can't let any other students to suffer the same."

She stood up! "Ok by me. So how are you going to lend this power of yours?"

"Leave this to me. For now! You need to sleep."....he vanished.

It's night!

Everyone is sleeping.

Naina's sleeping too!

Kai came. His body became shapeless. He crawled upon her. The black thing of his body started draining into her skin.

"Hey, Naina! Wake up. You'll be late for the school."... her mom screamed. She woke up. There's a voice, coming within herself. "Naina! You'll soon be able to feel and control this power. It takes a couple of days to complete my chemical to bind with your cells."...said Kai.

As the time passed, Naina began heading to the school. Her friend Tom joined.

"How about studying together, this evening?"... asked Tom. Naina was like...." That's what we do every day, right! Besides, you are the one who, could'nt come the last evening.'

"Sorry about that. I had something to do."...apologised Tom.

They reached school.

Naina began to feel the power.

It's evening. Tom and Naina....came to her home and started studying. After a while, her mom came from the office.

It was still early morning.....Naina came out for jogging. "Hey, Kai. I never had this habit you know."...said Naina. Kai said......" Seems like this is it!"

"What do you mean by that, Kai?"

"I've already told you, lending powers means ending to me. I'll be no more. This is the last day for me. I'll be dead for real now. We don't have much time. Let me explain you. As you already began to feel that power, all the thing you need to learn is to control it. It's going to be easy, once if you get it. Try to gather all the power."

Naina kept on practicing over and over. She managed to create the black stuff using the power. It's just like Kai's body, like some sort of shadow. She managed to pull it off....gained to control it.

She's a bit worried about Kai....."I wish I could do something about him. I wonder who could publish that kind of article in the first place."

She started heading school.

Tom looked at her"Are you doing fine?"

She was like...... Yeah! I'm alright.

Naina wasn't even listening the classes. Kept on thinking about Kai. Tom was like...." What's up with her today? She's acting so unusual."

It was evening....." Tom! I have some work. Let's study tomorrow."...she left from there.

Tom came to home. Both Naina's and his parents work at the same company. Their parents spend most of their time in the office. The phone's ringing....." Hello, it's Tom."

"

Hey, Tom! It's Naina's mother. Naina told me that she's going to study in your home. I'm going to be late for home today. Do make sure to let her know. She left her phone in the home."

"Sure! I'll let her know aunt. Don't worry about that."

The call ended.

"What's Naina up to? There's definitely Something's going on. I need to find her."...... Tom walked out to search her.

"There you are! What are you doing all alone here?" asked Tom.

"Nothing much. Just wanted a fresh air"'...Naina smiled.

"Your mom Called me. She'll be late today."

"I see. I should be going home now."

"C'mon! Let's grab some ice cream before you go. I'll pay you today."...... He smiled.

They both sat together.

"Thanks Tom!"

"It's no big deal."

"It's not about ice cream. I feel alright now, it's all thanks to you."...she came back to home.

There's a voice...."Naina!the binding's about to complete. Now, try to wrap around that shadow you control."

She tried to do it.

She is totally stunned........ The dark shadow! It wrapped around her like some sort of outfit.

She looked in the mirror..... It's totally cool.

"This is your outfit. You can change it as ever your want. But if you ask me... you're cool in this outfit. From now on... you'll be called as SHADOW SPARK! You can control the shadows and the dark just like that, you can vanish yourself in the dark and now! I have one, favor to ask you."

"What is it,Kai?" asked Naina.

"I want to see my parents for the last time."

Using her power, she sneaked into Kai's home. After a couple of minutes.... His voice stopped.

Realising that he's no more...her eyes,full of tears! slept without having dinner.

Suddenly, she woke up. It's morning. She headed to school. Tom talked nothing but to walk back and watch her.

It was evening. They both began to head home.

"Naina! Talk to me. Latey, you're acting all strange. Is everything fine.?"

She talked nothing.

"Naina! I'm talking to you. Talk something."

She screamed...." I'm totAlly fine. There's no need for you to be worried."

He screamed back...." Yeah, then why'd you lie your mom, the last day that you're studying with me? I've been watching You! you've been talking to your self like a mad. You are not even paying attention to the classes. We used to spend time together every Evening. But now! all you're doing is avoiding the reality, like you're living in some kind of fantasy. What's gotten into you?"

She kneed down...the tears began to run out.

Tom became all sad.....walked towards her.

"Hey, Naina! Calm yourself."

She's crying!....hugged him"I don't know, what's going on with me. My head's totally messed up."

"It's alright. I'm sorry! I shouldn't have shouted at you before."....he comforted her.

His eyes are full of tears..... feeling sorry.
