Emma's phone lights up as she's sitting in her tiny studio apartment surrounded by unfinished canvases and art supplies. Its another late night after a long shift at the café, but she's absentmindedly scrolling through the dating app she downloads on a whim
Her phone buzzes📳, and a new message pops up from a guy she doesn't remember swiping right on
Lucas
Hey, Emma. I noticed you're into art___ your profile's pretty cool. I'm Lucas, nice to meet you:-)📱
Emma
Hey, Lucas. Thanks! I'm surprised you noticed, haha. It's just a hobby right now, but i love it. What about you? What do you do?📱
Lucas
I'm a bit of a workaholic, to be honest. I run a company, but i try to find time to explore different things, like art. There's something about it that really draws me in.📱
Emma
A CEO, huh? Fancy. What kind of company?📱
Lucas
Let's just say it's corporate, nothing too glamorous. It pays the bills, but I'm actually working on something more... personal right now📱
Emma
Ooh, mysterious. Sound interesting. Do you want to share, or is it top secret?📱

It's more about figuring out the truth, i guess. Some things in life don't add up, and I'm trying to dig a little deeper. What about you, though? You're an artist ___ what's your dream?📱

Thursday evening arrives faster than Emma expected. She stands in front of her mirror, a mix of excitement and nervousness swirling inside her. After choosing her favorite scarf and grabbing her sketchbook—just in case—she heads out
At the café, Lucas is already there, sitting at a cozy corner table. He’s dressed simply but with an understated elegance that makes him stand out. As Emma approaches, he looks up and smiles warmly.

Emma pulls out her sketchbook and flips it open to show Lucas a few of her favorite pieces. He’s genuinely impressed, leaning in closer to study the details.

You think so? That means a lot. Sometimes I wonder if anyone really gets what I’m trying to say through my work.

As they talk, Emma notices something—Lucas is smooth, almost too smooth. There’s something about him that feels practiced, like he’s used to hiding behind carefully chosen words. But she pushes the thought away, not wanting to spoil the moment

Lucas
Or maybe I’ve just learned how important it is to keep people inspired. Especially when the world’s trying to knock you down.

Okay, that’s fair. You’re definitely good at that. So, what’s next for you, Mr. CEO? Going to take on the world one fraudster at a time?

Something like that. But right now, I’m just enjoying this coffee with a very talented artist.
They both smile, the connection between them deepening with each passing minute. But as Lucas glances at his phone, a flicker of something crosses his face—concern, maybe even urgency. He quickly brushes it away and focuses back on Emma.

I have to admit, I’ve really enjoyed this. I’d love to do it again soon.

As they part ways outside the café, Emma walks home with a strange sense of anticipation. Something about Lucas feels... unfinished. Like there’s a story he hasn’t told her yet.
