"Ugh… How did two cases became twenty are you guys trying to kill me?!"

Someone complained but no one really paid attention to it, they knew who it was.

"Oh come on Elena, you know no one except you can take up those cases." A member said without even looking

Elena just sighed and went to get treatment since she was injured. After that she went to lay down, in hope to rest for a little bit. But she couldn't sleep the thoughts were suffocating her. 10 years have passed since she started this job, which means she started doing that when she was 10" I guess I was a natural…." and she always thought that since her parents did the same job and was forced to continue on their behalf. At some point Elena was too tired to think and fell asleep, though those thoughts never left her in peace. Every night nightmares would just never let her rest. Today was just an exception...

"Elenaa..Elenaaa!"

"Mmm.?" Elena didn't want to wake up but knew she had to…"someone has to complete those missions" she though

"Ok i am awake Jake"

Jake was just one member of the gang who Elena

talked a bit more though nothing more ,due to the fact that she knew that everyone hated her. Yes no one liked her because they said she wasn't as good as her parents and just brought shame to them.

"Okie dokie, hurry up gotta complete the missions before they become too many!"

Elena got up and got ready with a troubled mind because she didn'tt know what kind of mission she had to do. The missions where sometimes too much for her body, someone could confirm that if they saw it. It was full of scars"Im hideous" she always thought when she saw herself in the mirror. Truth to be told she was a beauty, long black hair always tied up, blue ocean eyes you could drown in them, always looked elegant (even when she is killing...), and people could always find themselves drawn to her.

"Ok lets see what will it be today" it was finally the moment to go on the mission. Usually she would read the missions and then choose, but today she picked random. "I'm leaving, I will be back soon!" she yelled to let the members know she's leaving.

"Ok be back in one piece" "Be safe, tiger" were some usual things they would say since she did the hardest work, they at least be this "nice". But after she leaves, their true colours are shown

"Why can't she die already aren't those missions supposed to be impossible!" Jake said mad

"Jake relax, what would you do if she hears you?!"

"But boss…"

"Shut up! How many do i have to say i am going to find the mission that will eventually be the death of her!" Leo the leader of this mafia gang yelled. He absolutely hated Elena and wanted her dead, no only that, but he's also the reason of some painful scars on her body.

Elena really had no one who loved her, or cared about her. The only person was her mother who is dead , even though her mom was in the mafia she never agreed with her husband to let Elena in this. But of course her husband did what he wanted and brought Elena in the gang...

"Ok lets see what's so hard about this one"

Since many of the missions weren't that hard she wondered why they had to be completed by her.

"Mr Matthew Green, a leader of a small mafia group and...uhh very ugly according to the photo, hmm was he that unbearable to look and they couldn't kill him that now he is my mission…? Anyway it shouldn't be that hard to find" Elena got on her motorcycle and went to find him. It was quite the long way, but nothing too hard.

She was supposed to find him in some dark alley. "Not very helpful"she thought. Truth to be told it was quite scary to walk alone in one of those alley but not for her. At some point she heard someone yelling"If you want to live,I want his head. Do you understand?!" and at that point someone rushed out of what it looked like an abandoned house, luckily he didn't saw her.

"Hmm I guess that the place but who could possible a leader of such an insignificant group would want dead…?"

Elena rushed in, her gun loaded ready to shoot. And there he was Mr Matthew Green." Who are you,what you want?!" He asked.

"Well sir i guess you have a lot of enemies." Saying that she remembered how they talked about him, how they wanted him dead. Rumors said that he would have a big group and go after other groups while some other said he did things that can't even be said... Elena though didn't believe them, she always thought that she will believe what she can see with her eyes.

"Ohh don't tell me you are from Leo's groug. Ha Ha. That idiot cant kill me himself?!"

"I guess there is a grudge between them…"she thought. She was lost in thoughts but quickly interrupted by Matthew who was she guess looking for his gun. At that point there was only silence after the gunshot. "That took longer, am i getting rusty. I shouldn't have let him talk."

She quickly left, heading back to the group.

Meanwhile...

"No no i cant do this i am not cut out to be a killer…"a young man said

"Ohh what a shame,you came all this way and you won't even try to kill me?" the young man flinched and without even understanding what happened he was suddenly tied.

"Now be a good boy and tell me who told you to kill me? Not that you could, but let's not talk about that" He said that while looking him up and down. The young man was scared, and he was violently sobbing. A gunshot was heard." How about you stop crying and answer me?"

"Eh… Ah, yes yes. M-Mr Matthew G-Green"

"Ohh interesting" The man said. He thought for a while and then coldly shot the young man." Clean that up, and be ready we are going on a little trip to Mr Matthew "

"I am back!" Elena yelled when she walked through the door to let them know she was back.

"Let me guess, another successful mission?" Jack said

"That's why you are the best one in the gang, good job"some others said, but it was empty words Elena knew they were disappointed she came back alive. "Unfortunately for them, I don't plan on dying anytime soon, no mission is going to kill me"

If only Elena knew that she would regret those worlds...

"I am going upstairs, don't bother me for a while. Have to rest before going to another mission." She just said that knowing that either way no one would come to her room.

"UGH, she's so annoying" "oh my god, at this point we have to try to kill her boss, when are you going to find the impossible mission that you are saying?" They couldn't stand seeing her getting back alive, they didn't like the fact that she wasn't indeed better than them since the missions she goes are the one they failed after all.

"Everyone, if you are being so obvious about it, she's going to understand and leave and we don't want that, in the worst case she could try to kill us. There are rumors in the underworld that there is one particular man who everyone wants dead, and he's name is unknown..."

"Ohh don't tell me …" someone said with a sly smile

"Yeah, someone has to kill him, and we have the perfect person, Elena. He's known to kill anyone who is useless to him,, and he doesn't have any weakness. Well we will see about that." Everyone was trying to think ways to convince Elena to go, since no one who went to kill him came back alive according to the rumors.

"How about saying that this will be the last mission, I know for a fact that she want to leave this kinda of place!" Jack said and everyone including Leo thought for a while." No, we will find another way, we can't have her leaving the gang."

While everyone was thinking ways of killing her Elena was busy thinking about the mission she just came back from." Why would anyone want Mr Matthew dead he didn't do anything unreasonable, after all he was in the mafia."" And who could he possibly want dead?" Elena's head was filled with thoughts, and it was getting way out of head that she started overthinking. She stopped thinking after remembering what day was tomorrow…" Damn it's tomorrow..." It's her parents' death anniversary. Everytime this time would come she didn't know if she wanted to go or not, due to the fact that the whole gang had to go together. After all her parents were honorable members of the mafia." What am I supposed to do?" And like always she decided to go alone when the others are done.
