**The Colors of His Words**

Luen, the eldest son of a powerful and wealthy family, has lived his life under the weight of expectations and obligations. For six years, he has found solace and true happiness in his secret relationship with Noah, a man who knows Luen’s heart better than anyone else. Together, they’ve built a world of love and trust, hidden from the prying eyes of society and Luen’s demanding family.

However, when Luen’s mother forces him into an arranged marriage with Lilith, a woman chosen for her prestige and connections, Luen’s world begins to crumble. Bound by duty and the suffocating expectations of his family, Luen marries Lilith, all the while continuing his clandestine relationship with Noah. Torn between his love for Noah and the life he’s been forced into, Luen struggles to maintain the facade of a perfect marriage while keeping his true love a secret.

As Luen’s double life grows more complicated, Noah becomes increasingly conflicted, questioning how long they can keep living in the shadows. Meanwhile, Lilith begins to sense that her husband’s heart is not entirely hers, leading to tension and suspicion in their home.

Luen is caught in a dangerous game of deception, love, and loyalty. He must decide whether to follow his heart and risk everything for Noah or to stay loyal to the family that has always controlled his fate. In a world where love is a luxury he can’t afford, Luen faces the ultimate choice: to continue living a lie or to fight for the love that has sustained him through it all.

How does Luen truly feel about his family’s expectations, and how have they shaped his decisions throughout his life?

What is it about Noah that has kept Luen committed to him for six years despite societal and familial pressures?

How does Noah handle the situation of being the “other” man in Luen’s life, especially when everyone knows about Luen's and Lilith's marriage?

What were the reasons Luen’s mother forced him into marrying Lilith? Was it purely for family honor, or are there deeper reasons?

How does Luen manage to keep his relationship with Noah a secret after marrying Lilith? What risks does he take to maintain this double life?

Will Luen give up on Noah for his mother and wife? Or will he give up his family to be with Noah?

How did they meet and fell in love?

Can true love survive when it's hidden in the shadows?

Is it possible to honor family expectations without sacrificing one’s own happiness?

What price must be paid when love and loyalty collide?

How long can a heart endure the weight of deception before it breaks?

Can a marriage built on lies ever truly find happiness?

Is it better to live a lie that keeps the peace, or to risk everything for the truth?

What happens when duty becomes a prison, and love the only escape?

How far would you go to protect the one you love, even if it means losing everything else?

Chapter 1

Luen was a man who Noah's been having a long-time relationship with. Despite his manipulative and arrogant personality, Noah understood him well.

Then he was married off to some random woman.

But he returned to Noah, still a married man, and yet continued to sleep with Noah every week without fail. He was cheating on his wife with him, and Noah did nothing to stop him.

As per every week, Luen came and knocked on Noah's door, dressed in a suit and tie because he had just come back from work.

"L-Luen"

Luen chuckled. "Yes?" He asked as he set his briefcase down beside the door, stepping further into their home, his eyes slowly raking up and down across Noah's body.

"Something on your mind?" He smirked, taking another step closer to Noah, closing the distance between the two of them.

"W-will y-you d-dump m-me one d-day?"

Luen chuckled darkly, a small, amused smile dancing across his face. "Is that what you're worried about?"

He reached out, curling his hand around Noah's chin, his fingers gentle as he tilted his head up to look at him. His green eyes were like cold, sharp ice.

"I thought you knew me better than that." He said, his tone mildly chiding. "What makes you think I would ever get rid of you, darling?"

"B-because I-I'm a m-man, I-I can n-never g-give y-you an h-heir!"

Luen's eyes flicked down to Noah's lips as he spoke. His smile turned a little crooked.

"That's true." He murmured, the pad of his thumb tracing over Noah's lower lip. He chuckled when he saw the way his breath hitched at the touch before he spoke again, his voice a little rougher this time.

"Is that the only reason why you think I'd throw you away, darling?"

"L-lilith c-came h-here t-today"

Luen's expression darkened at the mention of Lilith's name, and for a moment his grip around Noah's chin tightened just a bit before it relaxed once more.

Luen let out a deep exhale through his nose before he spoke, looking back at him with a hard expression.

"What did she say to you?"

"S-she s-said I-I'm a h-homew-reck-ker, I-I'm a w-whore w-ho I-is r-ruining h-her m-marriage. A-and y-you will n-never m-marry m-me, I-I will b-be Y-your m-mistress f-forever."

Luen didn’t say anything for a moment. A dangerous expression settled across his features before he let out a scoff, his gaze hardening further.

"That stupid, stubborn, prideful girl." He muttered, his fingers still curled around Noah's chin as he stared down at him.

"You're mine. You will always be mine, and I will never give you away. She has no right to say such nonsense to you."

He paused for a moment, studying Noah's expression. "You don't believe her, do you, darling?"

" I-I "

Luen's expression darkened further when he saw the look on his face.

Luen pulled Noah closer to him, his other hand sliding around to settle at the small of his lover's back as he began to slowly walk backwards towards the couch, forcing Noah to take a step back with every one that he took.

"You do believe her, don't you."

It wasn't a question, and the tone in his voice was dark as he continued to guide Noah backwards, the back of his knees hitting the edge of the couch before Luen pushed Noah down onto the soft cushion.

"S-she w-was t-telling t-truth, I-I'm d-doing e-exactly m-my s-step m-mom d-id t-to m-my m-mom"

Luen let out a sharp scoff, a sound of anger and annoyance. He leaned down, pinning Noah further against the back of the couch, his body towering over him as he loomed over his innocent lover.

"Don't say that." He snapped, his eyes narrowing as he spoke. Luen was in no mood for Noah to believe whatever nonsense Lilith had told him, especially not now when all he wanted to do was spend the night with his baby.

"L-Luen let-let's B-break u-up"
