Ghost of the Past
Taehyung leaned back in his chair, the room suddenly feeling too small, too suffocating. His mind raced, pulling him back to those years of quiet mornings and whispered dreams, to the night it all fell apart.
A voice broke through his thoughts. It was the director, watching him with a curious gaze.
Director
Is something wrong?
Taehyung blinked, forcing himself to focus.
He replied, though his voice betrayed the lie. He glanced back at the list, at the name that once meant everything to him.
Taehyung
Jungkook... Is he really the one you want?
The director nodded, oblivious to the storm behind Taehyung’s calm facade.
Director
Absolutely. His talent, his passion... It's exactly what your story needs and also the description of the Sub male fits so much to him.
Taehyung exhaled slowly, his fingers tightening around the paper. How ironic, he thought, that the man who once left him behind for his dreams would now help bring his own dreams to life.
Taehyung said at last, his voice steady but his heart anything but.

But as the meeting continued around him, Taehyung couldn't shake the feeling that the past wasn't done with him yet. Not with Jungkook about to walk back into his life, not after everything that had been left unsaid.

Taehyung's fingers nervously toyed with the edge of the paper as he stared at the floor.

Namjoon leaned forward, his gaze steady and probing.
