"ice brat? Then let's see if we can melt that ice"

The first day of my job.I am excited as much as I am nervous.The only person I know there is lily,who helped me to get this job.i don't know if i look good or look plain.. actually i like looking plain.i hate attention i don't want anyone staring at me..

"Soa!! What are you doing in there?? it's already the time.you don't want to mess up on your first day do you?"

My mom distracted me from my overthinking.i opened the door and saw her holding my bag.

"how many times do i have to tell you mom i am not a little girl.i can prepare my own bag.I am 21." i looked at her and smiled.i knew she was just nervous as me. "i know.i am just nervous.here,the breakfast is ready". She smiled back at me.

As i finished my breakfast i kissed her on the cheek and said bye.i wasn't late but I was scared if I would be late.by the time I reached there it was 8:58.ooh..i was scared.i saw lily standing at the gate for me.. I looked at the tall building..it was my dream to work at somewhere like this..

"hey,you're here.2 minutes before the gate closes..punctual on the first day..i see." she joked i knew she were trying to get me calmed.we two got in and saw many people.they were looking soo professional unlike me..

"don't you want your name card?its right there near the CEO's office.lets go i will come with you"

i was relieved when she said she will come with me but that didn't last long until she was encountered by another colleague she needed to go somewhere..so she left me alone in this big hall.i walked to the direction where she pointed out and saw a hanger with some namecards hanging.i walked faster to there in excitement.

As I reached there I searched for my I'd card in all of them..and finally I saw it as I tried to take it it fell and slided through the glass door to another room.does this happen often? Damn yes! I am soo clumsy.i opened the door and picked up my card.. untill I looked up and saw a big figure staring back at me..OMG..he was soo hot with his cold expression

"uhmm..sorry!" i standed properly and bowed."what's your name?" he asked me..i

was suprised that he even talked to me.

"Soa" as I told him my name i saw him looking at me interestingly..almost checking out me.. checking out me!!? I couldn't believe it..

"you can go,now"as soon as I heard that i stepped out of the room and saw lily over there at the vending machine.i walked faster to her i called out his name and she looked at me.as i soon as I reached there she started to complain "where were you?? What were you doing? I looked for you everywhere"she looked soo worried "calm down you won't believe what happened there."

"what happened?"lily looks confused.."i saw our boss!and God! he looks so damn hot!" i told her about what happened.

"you saw that cold brat?"..i looked at her in a confused expression."cold brat? you call him cold brat? Is it like some kind of a nickname?" I laughed."not me.almost everyone in this company calls him like that secretly..it is like a nickname.." "why do you call him cold brat? Is he that cold faced?"i asked her in curiosity "yeah.we never saw him smile.he always keep his poker face"

oh really..he is intersting.

Our lunch break was over..i made some new friends,and all we talked about was about him,and honestly it didn't keep me bored.everything about him was intersting.

as the day went by I get to know about him from our co-workers.. everyone has negative comments about him..but i didn't think like that about him..i don't know why..he doesn't look that cold..I can only see a lonely man..when I saw him in the morning his eyes.. they were almost sucking me in.Our office was over and i was going back home in Lily's scooter.as i reached my home i said bye to lily and stepped into the house.

Dad was back from his office.Dad and i had a good friendship even tho i do get mad at him when he drinks he do get mad at me too..i saw him watching the tv "dad.i am back!"i sat next to him and he started asking me about my day.of course i couldn't tell him about the CEO.." the company is big.it was a good day.."as i started yapping about my day mom came and sat next to me and listened to my yapping.i had a little sister too.she was 4 years old this year..by this you can tell that my mom and dad gave a good relationship.maybe too good.anyway i let them do whatever they want.my sister's name is saya..she was already sleeping when I came i didn't bother waking her up.

i ate dinner and I felt like I ate too much..how could I not? Mom made my favourite dish today..even though she only makes it in special occasions.i went to my room and started scrolling through my phone.. nothing new was there.i was added into our companies online group..then I saw a message by our CEO's secretary..it was like "tomorrow is our celebration party at ********* club hall at 11:00"..a party?? By the company? I was suprised and excited.

it was at a expensive place..i knew our company won a big project before I joined the company...I assumed the party would be for this.i called lily and asked her about this."hello?why the heck are you calling me this late??" i can tell she was mad at me for disturbing her sleep"what is the part about?am i invited too?" I asked her in a soft tone."duh! Of course you are invited.i'll come and pick you up ok? Now let me sleep"she then hung up..i was excited about the party.
