Rhys desperately tried to stop herself from making a sound. She was enduring the excruciating pain. Standing in front of the washroom mirror, she kept whispering those words to herself.
She looked in the mirror. A pretty girl was staring back at her. Pale as a dead body. It was her.. Rhys. The girl who would die in a few minutes.
Rhys suddenly felt a strange, dull pressure in her chest.
"Am I really going to die?"
She tried to smile and answered herself,
"Yes, you are... There’s no turning back now.”
Rhys sighed.
"I don’t want to anyway."
Step by step, she walked to her bedroom. In her final moments, she wanted only one thing.. peace. The comfort of lying on her bed, earphones in, listening to the playlist she’d made just for tonight.
"Two years? Or more?" sigh "It doesn’t matter now."
Life wasn’t bad, she thought.
I had everything people dreamed of. I smiled, I laughed, I had friends…
So why the hell did I end up like this?
She didn’t know. She was just tired. Tired of everything.
"I have to put an end to this..." she muttered.
