The Invitation
Being an art curator is pretty tiring. You have to do research, go to dangerous places, collect things, arrange exhibition and many more but at least not for Kim Taehyung.
From a young age, Taehyung was captivated by the beauty and mystery of art. While other children played outside, he could often be found wandering through galleries, his eyes wide with wonder at the paintings and sculptures that filled the rooms. He spent hours flipping through art books, sketching his favorite pieces, and imagining the stories behind each brushstroke. This passion for uncovering the unknown fueled his love for art, where every piece held a secret waiting to be discovered.
And to turn this passion to profession he came to Paris from Korea, 5 years ago. Today he can proudly say that he is a successful art curator.

(I was sitting on my bed tiring from all the lectures I had to give to students as a guest lecturer, eating my favorite ramen and scrolling my Instagram feed)
Taehyung
Who is this at this late
Taehyung
(I sighed and lazily walked to the main door of my 3 bhk flat when I saw a letter in front of the gate)
Taehyung
Seems like someone pushed the letter from below the door 😑
Taehyung
(I was slightly irritated by this and open the door but to my surprise there's no one)
Taehyung
(I frowned and check the whole corridor but didn't find anyone)
Taehyung
What the hell.. it's so rude
Taehyung
(I locked the door, grab the letter and came to my room. I sit on the bed, wear my glasses and check the letter)
Taehyung
(It doesn't seem like any official letter cause there's no stamp and no name written on it)
Taehyung
Hmm... that's mean either the sender came here to give me the letter himself, or he must have hired someone to do it
Taehyung
But why did he deliver the letter, only to disappear without revealing his face, like a ghost?
Taehyung
(I rub my forehead and open the letter to read)

Taehyung have heard about it many times. The house mirrors which came to the city a year ago at the time of carnival. People say those who went inside the house without invitation, never came back. The house of mirrors himself send invitation to specific people it's chose, to come inside the house. Only 5 people dared to go inside the house out of 21 people invited, but when they came back they were completely lunatic. 3 of them attempt $uicide after a week and 2 of them are in mental asylum now.
He was thrilled about the whole situation. He had read various journals, newspaper about this house and always wanted to explore it, but he never gets a chance as police have already seized the house. But now the house of mirrors invited him and how can he reject this golden opportunity.

Another mystery to crack~
The house
The next day, as the sun began to set, Taehyung made his way to the House of Mirrors. The sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, casting long, twisted shadows that danced across the ground.
He was totally ready for any type of emergency as he even kept a sharp knife, torches, band aids, phone in his bag pack.
He parked the car a little far from the house and slowly walked towards it. The area was seized but luckily there's no police to guard.

*push his glasses up*

The house of mirrors...
The shape of the house was like a cuboid with only a door and no window, neither big nor small. It's quite new but looks a little dirty due to non maintenance for a long time.
Taehyung quickly took some selfies in front of the house and the slowly walked towards the door
Taehyung
Hello, anybody here?
Taehyung
I got an invitation
He whispered but as expected nobody answered
Taehyung
Ok, I'm inside the house...
Taehyung sighed and enter inside the house but to his surprise he saw a long corridor instead of any room.
He couldn't finished his sentence when the door suddenly closed automatically with a loud sound
Taehyung tried to pull the door but the door was already locked, and he didn't have any idea how to open it.
Suddenly he filled chilled and nervous but it's not the time to lose his shit right?
Taehyung
Calm down calm down...
Taehyung somehow console his poor heart and started walking through the long corridor. After walking for five minutes, he began to realize that the corridor was gradually narrowing with each step he took, and soon there was only a few inches of space left for his body to move further.
Taehyung
I should have lost some fat before coming here..
Taehyung sucked in his stomach, held his breath, and tried to squeeze through the narrow corridor sideways but unfortunately his plumpy @ss betrayed him.
Taehyung
I'm stuck I'm stuck
He held his @ss and tried to move his hips sideways and after struggling for 2 mins he successfully crossed the corridor and came in front of a hall room.
Taehyung
ugh I hate you *slapped his own @ss*
Soon he realized he was standing in the middle of the room with was nicely decorated. The room was painted with red color. There's a big old-fashioned long wooden table, chairs, a big mirror with dressing table, a few white sheets was lying on the ground and some candles was present on the table to light the room. Some creepy mask were hanging on the left wall which make Taehyung uncomfortable.
He took slow steps and went in front of the mirror
He saw his reflection in the mirror, but he was slightly effective by the fact that he was looking extremely pretty in that mirror which he usually don't in other mirrors. He looked at his eyes through the mirror, and it's shining brighter than usual. Likewise, he felt himself leaning more and more towards the mirror as like his reflection was calling him.
He nose was about to touch the mirror but suddenly all the candles blew out which makes Taehyung regain his conscious.
Taehyung
Huh what just happened...
Taehyung
He quickly took off his glasses and rub his eyes a few times and then again wear his glasses.
The room was dark as there's no window. Taehyung somehow open his bag pack to find his torch when suddenly he saw a ray of light coming from a room.
First Meeting
Taehyung saw the green light was emanating from a room whose door was half-opened
He slowly started taking steps towards the room. He reached in front of the door and slightly pushed the door.
The room was filled with green light, which bounced off the mirrors on the walls. The reflections made the room feel strange and mysterious, with the green glow shining everywhere.
Taehyung excitedly entered inside the room and about to walk straight but got bumped into the mirror.
He rubbed his head was trying to find his way, but the reflections made all four directions look the same. But he was quite surprised to see that his reflection wasn't appearing in the mirrors but didn't think too much because he's well aware of the rumours about the house being weird.
It's been 45 mins but still Taehyung was stuck in between the mirrors. He slowly started to feel suffocated and tired so he sit on the floor to take rest for a bit.
Taehyung
hah my head is spinning..
Suddenly he heard a sound of footstep
He called but nobody answered. But again he heard some footsteps so he quickly got on his feet and followed the sound.
After 10 minutes of running behind the footsteps he felt exhausted. The sound of footsteps were being louder in each passing minutes. At the point Taehyung couldn't take it anymore and closed his ears with hands to stop the loud sound.
Taehyung sits on his knees, and scream to stop the sound, and he succeeded. Suddenly the sound stopped and a deep voice took its place.
Taehyung quickly open his eyes and saw a tall man in black suit with a mask on his face standing inside the mirror.
Taehyung
W.. Who are you? 😰
？？？
It's "The truth", but you can call me..
Jungkook removed his mask and Taehyung got scared seeing the face. There were many cuts on his face. His was pale and his eyes was also dead.
Jungkook
