A wounded guy, JACK,runs frantically down the dimly lit alleyway, blood oozing from a gash on his arm.
Behind him, a group of vampire teenagers are hot on his heels, their eyes glinting with hunger and excitement.
Erza (ML)
*grinning* Come on, boys, let's see if we can catch this little snack before he bleeds out.
Jack stumbles and gasps for air,fear coursing through his veins as he realizes he might not make it out alive.
But he pushes himself to keep running, determined to escape the clutches of the bloodthirsty creatures pursuing him.
Just when it seems like he's about to collapse from exhaustion, Jack spots a flickering streetlight up ahead and makes a desperate dash towards it.
He can hear the vampires closing in behind him,their footsteps growing louder with each passing second.
But just as the vampires are about to pounce,Jack manages to duck into a nearby doorway and disappear into the shadows,the vampires hissing in frustration as the lose sight of their prey.
A few days later, Aurelia wakes up in her small cramped room at the orphanage.
She yawns and stretches,then gazes at the picture of a handsome young man on her bedside table.

*narrating* That's Jack.

*coutinues* He used to live here at the orphanage, like me. But one day,he just vanished without a trace. I never knew what happened to him,until now.
As she stares at the photo, a sense of unease creeps over her. She can't shake the feeling that something terrible has happened to Jack,and that he may never return home again.

The owner of the orphanage, Mrs Anne walks around the dimly lit dining hall.
With a stern look on her face. Everyone, who is eating their breakfast, steals glances at her as she passes by their tables.
Some of them fidgets in their seats, clearly uncomfortable under her gaze.
As Mrs Anne make her way through the tables, she stops in front of Aurelia.
Aurelia clears her throat loudly to get Mrs Anne's attention.
Mrs Anne turns to her, raising an eyebrow in silent question.
Aurelia takes a deep breath before speaking up.

Mrs Anne, do you know when my friend, Jake, is coming back from your office? * she asked, concerned.*
Aurelia (FL)
He had been gone to your office and never came back.
Mrs Anne's expression darken as she looks at Aurelia. She leans in closer to her, her voice dripping with menace
Mrs Anne (orphanage owner)
You know better than to ask questions like that, Aurelia. Jake left this orphanage of his own free will. Do not speak of him again. *she commanded, her eyes flashing with anger.*
Aurelia shrink back in her seat, clearly intimated by her harsh words.
Mrs Anne straighten up and continues on her patrol of the dinning hall, leaving Aurelia feeling helpless and worried about her missing friend, Jake.
The others at the table exchange worried glances knowing Jake's disappearance was a subject that is not to be mentioned in the presence of Mrs Anne.
As the rest of the meal passes in uneasy silence, Aurelia couldn't shake the feeling that something is terribly wrong here in the orphanage.

Is shrouded in the eerie silence of the night, the only sound echoing through its empty halls is the soft rustle of papers as Aurelia receives an unexpected admission letter from Onyx academy.
The letter bore the official seal of them and was signed by Mrs Anne.
Confusion cloud Aurelia's mind as she read the words on the page, detailing her sudden admission to the school and the urgent need for her to move there that very night.
Without warning, Mrs Anne appears before her, her face unreadable as she informs her of the sudden turn of events.

Why do I have to move tonight? *she dared to ask*
But before she could receive an answer, Mrs Anne simply shakes her head, a stern look in her eyes, silencing her with a wave of her hand.
Alone in her room, Aurelia's heart races with excitement and a bit of uneasiness as she begins to hastily pack her belongings, careful not to disturb the others children who slept soundly in their beds as per instructed by Mrs Anne.
However, she is not as discreet as she has hoped for one of the young girls, Yuna, has been awakened by the commotion and silently observes Aurelia's hastily preparations.
