BASED ON REAL EVENTS

When I was learning Hotel management in k state, I lived in the hostel and right beside my hostel there was senior's hostel. Seniors there called the hostel the " Haunted Hostel" because students use to hear noises of door being knocked loudly.

The seniors always used to bully the juniors and one day I became their prey but they ended up liking me because our attitudes were similar. So I became friends with them, I used to hang out with them and sometimes go to their hostel. The Seniors actually had the habit of drinking and smoking, so even I did the same.

One day it was too late and I was drunk so one of my seniors offered me to stay in his room as he was going to go somewhere out. I slept there. After a while a heard wierd noises from the fourth floor (knocking of door). I went upstairs and saw that all the rooms were locked and there was dead silence. I headed back to the room and went to take a shower. I undressed myself and then suddenly the lights went off and then came back, this process was repeating. I got a little scared and wore my clothes and came out of the bathroom, there I saw a black cat starting at me. I looked at it and it went outside jumping from the window. I went to the window and saw that cat was gone plus the third floor was too high, I got chills.I called my girlfriend and told her about this she told me to close the window. She talked to me for a while and then I fell asleep.

From that day onwards I never stayed at that hostel at night. My first and second year passed by smoothly and now I was a senior. Unfortunately I was shifted to the same hostel, my room was on the third floor. The neighbouring room's guy became my good friend, we always used to hang out together. My fear also was suppressed in those two years and now it was a habit to hear the knocking sounds.

Three months after shifting to the room. Just one random night I was roaming around the lobby and talking to my girlfriend. Suddenly a black cat appeared in front of me, the same one two years ago. It started at me and after a while started running towards the bathroom. I followed it, but it suddenly disappeared and then reappeared, it went upstairs I followed and then it went to the fourth floor. I stopped right there and didn't follow any longer. I told everything to my girlfriend. She told me to get inside the room and sleep. I did whatever she said. After I fell asleep, I heard a scream from my neighbouring friends room. I went outside and knocked at his door asking "what happened to you? ". He opened the door he was shivering with fear. I reapted my question.He said that " I felt like someone sat on my chest and was chocking me to death". He was too scared so I slept with him that day.

Next day at night I was again talking to my girl friend in the lobby. I again saw the black cat. It started at me. I told my girlfriend that the cat was here. My girlfriend told me to go to my room close the door and the window. I did the same and sat on bed talking to her. After a while I heard someone banging on my window. I got scared and asked my girlfriend if She heard it too but she refused. I was so scared that I didn't sleep and nor I let my girlfriend sleep. I talked to her till 3:30 until I felt sleepy. I hanged up and slept. After a while I had a nightmare a black shadow was infront of me, I couldn't see his face just his figure and I couldn't open my eyes nor scream. I took gods name and I suddenly woke up. I washed my face and slept after a while. Next day I bought gods photo and hung it on my wall. Days went smoothly after that, then I had my vacation. I went home.

I was home watching TV with my mom, I feel asleep. I had a nightmare again. There were more than four black shadows and two of them grabbed my and hands and two of them grabbed my legs. I took gods name. I woke up my mom looked worried. My mom told me that I was speaking in two voice one was taking the name of God and other was screaming in immense pain. Days went by everything was fine.

Then vacation ended and I went back to the hostel. I met my friend there. He told me that he had visited the priest with his mother because he behaved wierdly those days and he said that the the Priest told them that the fourth floor was filled with evil souls and the black cat was one of them. I was trembling with fear.

Days past gradually it was our last year. Then One winter day, I sleeping in my friends room. We heard someone banging the door. We woke up. We waited for it to stop but then I got angry and opened the door. No one was there, I closed the door and I felt that my body was getting cold. I started shivering and feel down my friend helped till the bed and gave me his sweater but still I felt cold. After getting all of his jackets and blankets on top of me. I felt a little warm. From next day onwards we started worshipping God. Everything was fine and I graduated finally. It was a good bye to my friends and the Haunted Hostel.

After that everything was going pretty well. I got a good job and I was going to marry my girlfriend. But after a month it started with me loosing my job, breaking with my long time love, serious health problems, bad financial conditions and worst of all were those nightmares. One day I told my mom everything that happened to me in the college. Next day my mom bought me a locket and told me to wear it. I wore it without asking a question. Since then the conditions are stable and I never saw those black shadows again. But it is said that still some student staying in that hostel experience paranormal activities.

Sara : (Happy) Dan, I am pregnant.

Dan : Hmm, but make sure it is not a girl or else you know the consequences.

Sara shivers

Dan : I am leaving now

Sara : (sad) Hmm, take care, by the way I will be going to the church.

Dan : do whatever you want, just come back earlier.

Sara : okay

Sara gets ready and goes to the church.

She lights a candle and kneels down with hands joined and tightly shuts her eyes with tears falling down.

Sara : Jesus, please let this baby be a boy, please.

**AT NIGHT**

Sara : Let's get the cradle from the top, (hurt) we didn't even get to use it.

Dan : What's with that face it's just a cradle and the baby isn't even born yet. We don't even know of its a boy or a girl.

Sara : (scared and stuttering)No it's a boy, I know it's a boy.

Dan : Let's see

They both bring the cradle in their room and then they both sleep.After a while a creaking sound come from the cradle as if it's swinging. Sara wakes up because of the sound. She gets up and sees that the cradle is swinging with its full force and then she notices that the window is open and heavy winds are blowing. She closes the window and stands in front of the cradle and gently swings it. Tears fall off her eyes and suddenly her eyes fall on the window and she sees a girl looking straight at her, it was like she was looking at herself when she was a kid. She panicked.

Sara : (anxious) Dan, Dan wake up. Dan wake up please.

Dan : what happened? can't you let me sleep.

Sara : (anxiously pointing at the window) Look that girl looks like me.

Dan : which girl?

Sara : (she sees that the girl disappeared) I swear there was a girl here, really.

Dan :(angry) Sara, I don't get to stay at home like you doing nothing, I have a lot of work on my head. Just sleep.

Sara : Okay sorry.

Sara got on the bed and lied down, she looked at the window to make sure if there is a girl there but she wasn't there.

For next five months Sara always felt that some one was watching over her but didn't know who, she felt like it was always with her, beside her watching over her.....

(Sara five months pregnant)

Sara heard someone playing with a ball in her garden, so she opened the door and looked if someone was there, she opened the door and there was no one there. She came in back and a ball rolled over and bumped on to her leg. She turned and to her horrors she saw a girl who looked her kid self. Her heart was beating fast.

Girl : Hi

Sara : (this girl has such a sweet voice) What is your name little girl?

Girl : I don't have a name.

Sara : (giggling) Ok then I will call you sweety, okay Sweety, (in a low voice with sad eyes) sweety. How old are you, sweety?

Girl : 4 years old. (stomach growls) I want something to eat.

Sara : Wait I will make something for you

Girl : I will Help you too

They both make a dish together. Sara felt like the girl was very close to her even though they met for the first time.

Sara : Sweety did you like it?

Sweety whispered something in Sara's ears. Sara's eyes were filled with tears and she kissed her forehead.

Sweety : I am sorry don't cry, I won't call you that again. Don't cry

Knock Knock

Sara : Dan's here I guess. Stay here okay I will introduce you to my husband.

Sweety: (angry) I don't want to see him

Sara : But....

Dan : Sara, do I have to wait outside all day?

Sara : coming

Sara opened the door

Sara : Dan, A little girl is here. Come let me show you, she is really cute.

Sweety, Sweety where are you? No answer where is she?

Dan : I don't have time for your nonsense. I am hungry prepare something for me.

Sara :Hmm (in Mind) where did she go all of a sudden.

NEXT AFTERNOON

Sara heard Someone was playing with ball, she went running to check if Sweety was back.

Sara : Sweety, where were you? Why did you leave yesterday.(hugs her)

Sweety : Why is your stomach so big?

Sara : Because I have a baby in my stomach so.

Sweety : can I touch it

Sara : Ofcourse you can. (Keeps Sweety's hands on her stomach)

Sweety : Baby is a boy or a girl.

Sara : Boy, it is a boy

Sweety: How do you know?

Sara : Because this child in my stomach has no choice but to be boy.

Sweety : Why can't it be a girl?

Sara : Because I don't want a girl.

Sweety : The child in your stomach is a boy. I know that. lets play.

Sara: okay

Three months passed Sweet used to play with Sara everyday but Sweety disappeared before Dan came.
