His eyes burned with vengeance as he swore to make them pay, to torment them as they had tormented him, his wife.

As life slipped away from him, Theodore heard distant voices, screams that mingled with the roar of the fire.
In his fading consciousness, he saw a blurry figure with a head of flaming red hair. He thought it was just the fire playing tricks on him, but he was sure he heard someone shouting with raw emotion
Theodore’s last thoughts were of the people who had betrayed him, and the vow he made to himself as darkness closed in. If only he had a second chance... he would make them all pay.

Just seconds ago, he was engulfed in flames, certain he had died—so how was he here now? Was his mind playing tricks on him, or was this heaven?
He shook his head on his delusional thought;

But the room...it was the same as it had been during the best days of his life, back when everything was normal.
