◖ A ℜewritten Fate ◗

Author's note

                                                             AUTHOR'S NOTE

Before these statements left my desk and followed the fate I eventually chose for them, I considered using them as the traditional, painstaking, fictional, recounting of some events. And so I read various fictional stories thinking that would help me, only to realize that these stories view one subject inevitably influencing the results of the research. Since it wasn't my intention to impose my own opinions on the reader, but to set down the story of "Man Atisundar" as seen by its main protagonists, I soon abandoned the idea of writing straight fictional fun stories as beginners would do and applying to that and decided that the best approach would be simply to transcribe what the protagonist had experienced.

It was on the last day of December, only some minutes before the new year, that everything went downhill.

So many things happened to lead her to this crucial decision, that has changed her entire life, both in good and bad ways. Sadly, even if she regretted her action, it was already too late.

The past can never be changed.

And her fate has been decided long ago.

She wasn't a sad child growing up, she had most things people would wish for. Both her parents were there for her, they weren't abusive, or bad parents at all. Maybe when she was younger she thought so because she was seeing everything within the eyes and mind of a child, but now that she thinks about it.

They both tried their best.

Two particular things have led to where she is now.

Recently, she lost her mother, who passed away a year ago. She has been the one for her in her worst moments, being the loving mother she was, she always supported her. That woman was someone she admired, loved, and wished she lived for a little while longer. She spent countless nights crying, in denial, hoping from the deepest part of your heart that she was still alive. Sadly, her wish was never granted.

On the last day of December, exactly one year ago, her mother left her.

Leaving her all alone in this cruel world to survive on her own. To redeem her fate from her deeds, was a great mission to achieve and she may not be fully prepared yet if we examine her condition carefully. Was it?

It was less than 1 or 2 minutes in the New Year to come. People everywhere else were in full excitement for it and with their loved ones, but she was there all alone on the terrace of her apartment complex.

For the last time\, she looked down at her phone and sighed. The clock struck 00: 00 am and made a *dong* sound indicating the time of midnight and the arrival of the New Year. Everyone spread out cheered loudly and wished each - other. Then suddenly\, she jumped off the roof\, her phone flooding with messages of New Year blessings and texts from her friends. At that time\, her father rang her doorbell with a small smile on his face and a small cake in his hands that he brought with him to celebrate with his daughter.

But it was too late now for them to approach her.

She was now gone from their lives and there was no way for them to reach her out.

if only they had reached out to her sooner.

She would have been alive with them celebrating New Year happily.

Maybe,  something else might be awaiting her somewhere else.

Chapter ..2..

                                                                            2.

Dira as she arched her back in pain, her hands shooting up to grasp her head. "Fuck!" she panted, her head felt as if it were pulsing out every single. She was barely able to force her eyes open, staring at a blurry ceiling through dried tears. An aching pain swelled her heart as she heaved dry tears. " I killed myself, but shit," she grimaced, "Could I have at least done it faster?"

The pulsing headache slowly shimmered as the girl rolled her head to the side, her arms spread out over her head. She huffed as she stared at the surroundings for the first since she opened her eyes. She wasn't surely expecting it. Was it the afterlife people who are dead call it 'Home'? If not then where was she? Many questions ran through her head making it ache more than before.

"Who am I?" Dira mumbled as she saw someone else in the mirror that was not her face or her body, she pinched herself on the cheek and the person seen in the mirror did the same. She cried from pain realizing that it was only her and no one else. Eyes as bright as jewels shining brightly under the moonlight, with a small yet sharp nose along with plump heart-shaped lips, hair hanging till her waist as clear as a starry night with a full moon, a type of face that she would have never imagined ever in her wild dreams. If put in simple words, she was more like a goddess of beauty and wisdom. A perfect woman for any man to wish for. A type of beauty anyone could die for.

Suddenly, a woman barged inside the room making her flinch in shock badly. At first, this new body now this new surrounding and the strangely rude woman above all.

"Why haven't you moved out of bed yet? Do you want to be late for the wedding too, lazy brat?"

"Hurry up, I want you downstairs in ten minutes, quick". The lady growled at this point making Dira shudder at her strict words.

Without wasting another second of her limited time she ran through her new room searching for her belongings to suit her taste in fashion through the closet, only finding some basic-looking dresses like floral gowns or some like one would wear when doing some farm work in old times in England. She picked out a lavender floral print dress out of the closet and dashed towards the bathroom to change into it.

After getting all ready she reached downstairs to meet up with the rude old lady and was good to go. She glances towards the lady curious about many things to ask but doesn't dare to ask. Walking for a while, they reached a small boutique and entered it. Before she could ask some girls grabbed her dragged her to the chair and started with their respective tasks to get her ready as a beautiful bride of the day.

Time slipped like sand in the hourglass, and Dira was now fully ready and ready to go to the church for her said wedding. A quiet knock abrupted on the door of the boutique's door.

" Oh! I think the Count is here to take his bride finally" said one of the workers.

She left to open the door for the said count and soon-to-be - husband of Dira.
