Kim Jiwon was just stepping out of the shower with her hair dripping wet. She picked up the phone realising she was late for the family gathering, she called her sister soojin , telling her she would be late. She quickly got dressed and called her chauffeur to bring over the car.

Once he arrived he respectfully greeted her "good morning miss Jiwon" she replied "good morning Minjae". She got into the car, She arrived at the gathering. Surprised to see her sister at the doorstep of the mansion waving at her, "Ronnie I have been waiting for you. You look good by the way!" said soojin with a smile as wide and bright as the sun. Jiwon gave her sister a big hug saying, "it's nice to see that smile again after so many years".

Jiwon stepped into the mansion with her sister. She saw her parents, she bowed to her parents greeting them"good morning a-beo-nim and eomeonim". They both stood up and said"we have been awaiting you ". Jiwon's mother, Kim Hye-sook walked up to her , hugged her and asked how she was doing. She said "I haven't seen you in forever, you are so tall now and you've lost weight, ahh so much has changed but I know you are still my beautiful, intelligent and independent daughter aren't you?", hearing this, Jiwon giggled "just like old times" she said. Suddenly silence filled the room as she looked at her father, he towards her and smiled "you know I have always been strict but I can see that I have raised a wonderful daughter, come here." he said, Jiwon gave him a tight hug.

Soon the whole family had arrived. Jiwon greeted many of the elders at the gathering. After a long time of talking and discussion, Jiwon's father stepped to the higher floors clanking the glass cup and a silver knife, the room got silent as everyone's attention was on him. He began to make a speech concerning the family business which he had run many years ago but handed off to Jiwon as she was the first daughter. He said "for many years I have run this business but as we all know many years ago i handed it over to Jiwon, and I trust she won't let us down" Jiwon felt al eyes on her "Jiwon!" he said in a stern voice. Jiwon walked to her father and he said I am entrusting you with this don't let me down" then he gave her a a will to another business which his grandparents and many generations down had cherished and run up to that day. He said "take this" and again in an even sterner voice he said "do not let us down" everyone one clapped in happiness for Jiwon and so did her father. Jiwon felt like a whole world had been entrusted to her, as she looked at everyone she knew what she had to do.

*The next day*

Jiwon was filling in some paper work for the meeting tomorrow. Her phone rang and calling her was her friend park Sunhee, she picked it up "Hello" she said, on the phone Sunhee sounded so hyped, Jiwon had to ask "what made you this hyped up?", Sunhee said "oh you won't believe it, I have great news!" "Um ok go on" Jiwon said "I met this awfully good looking guy at the bar yesterday and he's young too!" "I would love to introduce him to you" Jiwon was confused, so she said "uhm ok, when will I meet this man?", "very soon!" Sunhee said.

Soojin got off the phone with a guy who she hired and called Jiwon telling her to come over to her house so they could chat. Jiwon was done and wrapping up the paper work, so she agreed to come over. On her way she saw a man standing on the streets wet without an umbrella, so she asked him to get into the car, he refused, but she insisted saying she wanted to help, so he got in. The man looked nervous, so she tried to calm him down, she asked "what's your name?" he shook "it's Jung Joon Ho" he said, she replied "I'm Kim Jiwon" he still looked nervous, so she told him to calm down reminding him that she insisted, later on she asked him where she would drop him off, so he told her he would be out at the next junction.

When Jiwon arrived she noticed someone walking out of the house but it wasn't her sister, she got into the house and a sweet aroma was in the air she saw her sister in the kitchen cooking, her sister said "there you are how are you?" Jiwon looked around noticing the changes of the pent house then she replied "oh I'm fine. You called me" they sat down soojin served a nice sushi "homemade!, I hope you like it" "ooh nicely done" "I guess those classes paid off" said Jiwon "yes they did!" said soojin. Soojin began to ask Jiwon about how her love life was and she said "to be honest it's the least of my worries to get a man" "besides I have been entrusted with something so big and that's what I want to achieve, i can't let everyone down" soojin sighed "you know your love life is also something big, yes i know you are entrusted With something big but you shouldn't worry" "you are just as important as it is, so don't worry you have it in the bag ok?" soojin said, Jiwon puffed as she said "thanks but I do have to worry it's a generational business, if it isn't continued I don't think there will be much to make of me as the first daughter" * phone Ringing* "hello" "ok, I'll be right there" she rushed out.

 *That night*

 Jiwon left the house in a hurry Soojin tried to ask what was wrong but she left immediately without turning back or waiting "Minjae drive home now!" she said. Back at home she put on a black coat some black leggings and some black boots, wearing shades and a hat. She walked down town with an umbrella into a rough alley. There stood the man who had called her, "to be honest I didn't think you'd come" he said with a chuckle "where are the papers?" "They're right here" "you're looking nice" he said, she looked at him disgusted "oh shut up" she said. She looked around checking to see if anyone was nearby, she brought out a paper bag from her suitcase inside it was a lot of money, she said "hand it over" he gave her the papers which she hid in the case "here" she said giving him the money. "Nice doing business" he said, then he left and so did she.

 *The next day*

 Jiwon got ready for work when her sister called "hey what was that yesterday?!" Jiwon said she would explain later but soojin was still angry, so Jiwon cut off the phone, then she went off to the office. "ok everyone let's do this" she said during the meeting. the room was noisy with everyone talking and bringing up ideas, Suddenly there was a knock on the door "come in" Jiwon said, one of her personal assistants walked in and said "miss Jiwon, your father is here" Jiwon was shocked she wasn't expecting her father at the office. She told everyone to go on and she'll be back, then she stepped out. Behind her she heard lots of giggles and whispers, she saw her father sitting "good morning a-beo-nim" she quickly bowed "how are you doing today my daughter?" he asked "Good, sir" she replied "hmm I can see everything is going well and organised" "your mother wanted to come but I treated her to a Spa, what do you think?" he asked, she smiled "it's Nice father" she said warmly, he asked Jiwon to escort him to a private office so he could give her something. She took him to an office she only rarely used or entered, he sat her down and gave her a suitcase with money that will be used to benefit and grow the company, he told her "this is for the company growth only!, use it up wisely and if you do many more will come" she nodded "yes" she said. She returned to the meeting after she saw her father out.

When she was wrapping up her sister called again and said this time she would be coming over and she would bring a guest that she wanted to introduce to Jiwon and she couldn't refuse so she agreed, on her way home she ran into Sunhee and she invited her for a drink at the bar.
