you overheard someone talking behind your back while you walked down the hallway

You nodded as Annie introduced herself and her twin sister
While suddenly you hear a voice behind the three of you

[was everyone in this school just mean?] you thought to yourself as you stared at the scene unfolding before your eyes

As the three of you walked towards your assigned class and stood infront of the door
A voice from behind shouts

The hallway goes silent as you snap

Watching as people criticized your family which was innocent
Chapter 2
19 years ago, the Scarlett family had a great reputation and influence over the kingdom of Eclipsara
A Kingdom with peace and beautiful environment
But on that particular day, 19 years ago
Anastasia's Grandfather got caught doing some illegal activity inside the kingdom which was heavily prohibited, which was human trafficking
(I switched to third perspective)
The Scarlett family was then forever banned from joining any academy or for trading goods with other merchants
The king was kind enough to not chase away the family itself, it was kind enough to not punish the whole family just cause of one
But the Scarlett family's name was spoiled ever since that day
Now back to the present day of Eclipsara, there are some nasty rumors going around that the Scarlett family is back at doing illegal things again, but those were obviously just baseless rumors and the Scarlett family was innocent
But... The people refused to believe it

"now everyone, take a seat and introduce yourselves since we have a new student among us"
The class starts introducing themselves one by one

But the giant countdown disappears

*sighs* "there is nothing there, dumb idiot"

"The countdown showed 5...4..3..2..and then disappea--"
Suddenly the classroom goes dark even though the room was bright just a second ago

"what is happening?? a blackout?? during the middle of the day??"

"The windows are open but i cannot see anything!"

the whole class starts panicking
Then suddenly a hologram type of thing appears before each individual

Questions run through everyone's head
Then suddenly the room lights up again and a fairy appears

Everyone in the room seem shocked and scared due to the sudden appearance and witnessing such thing as magic
