Are you sure about this? He asked his girlfriend worriedly .She laughed and patted her chest before saying, of course. Besides I am a fifth-level god,have you forgotten?"

" If you say so", he replied.

*still worried*. "I promise I'll finish my cultivating as soon as possible and come back to your side, okay?"

She laughed louder this time.

"Do you want a problem with your foundation? Just go with the flow and reach the first-level godhood,okay? And don't miss me two much... "

" I'm missing you already", he said.

She smiled, her heart filled with love for him.

"Go, okay? I'll be fine"

They share a last kiss and she then she shoved him into the portal. "Good bye" he said.

 He had no time to reply before the portal closed. He left. The free-spirited and happy look on her face disappeared, now masked with cold indifference.........

Leo? Any updates?? "Yes miss", A well-built man who was hiding in the shadows.

'Drezari has already summoned the army'

'How many gods?'

'About a thousand miss. Mainly consisting of first - leveled gods and second-leveled gods, with the generals in the third or fourth level'

She smiled, a far away look entering her eyes.

" He is more than just a man..... He's the love of my life!!. Besides, the dragons caused my parents demise. They stole our recipes, killed our strongest allies. They might even be behind the destruction of the Jade bracelet, a heirloom of my family".

Leo's eyes widen with shock. "How could that be??!".

"I found clues all pointing at them". "Those bastards!! And they had the nerve to come asking us for a marriage alliance??!!!

" Now do you still think I am wrong calling out a war? "

" No miss. This humble man in me had eyes but could not see… Thank you for making him see the light "

She waved him off slowly but impatiently…

"Go get my armor and summon Thunder"

The battle between The Imperial Phoenix clan and The Divine dragon clan began and it shook the earth and it seemed the heavens were going to collapse.

So many rounds of fighting had gone on, day and night seemed to merge into one.

The air was filled with the stench of death and the gory surroundings were not a scene for the faint hearted.

Currently, Kethziah was dressed as HE was and Looked like Him, with the aid of disguise.

Their opponents were shocked how He reached godhood so quickly, level five not to mention the least.

She was fighting with the fourth-leveled god generals, the third-leveled ones already killed by her earlier.

She was running low on power and energy,

but thoughts of what they did to Him filled her with the anger she used as fuel to keep on going!

And then, it happened.

Drezari saw "him" fighting against the best of his father's generals and wanted to join, if not for the fact that he was too weak : a mere second - leveled god .

But did he need to expend energy to deal with his love rival? No he did not!!.

He brought a vial out of nowhere and dipped the tip of an arrow in it while muttering some incantations, soon all the liquid in the vial disappeared into the arrow faintly glowing in purple.

He aimed the arrow and waited for the right moment.

When he got it, he released the bowstring and the arrow flew so fast, it looked like it teleported to Him.

As it was imbibed with Spinit energy, all it took was a blink of an eye for the arrow to pierce His back, opposite his heart.

HE who was Kethziah, stifled a scream and tried to use His spirit energy or what was left of it. But to His great surprise, all her spirit energy had dissapeared.

One of Drezari’s generals took the chance to launcha killing strike at Him. Unable to flee or block, He stood there as it hit Him.

Once the ball of energy hit Him, He flew a hundred meters backwards before hitting a mountain .

Using His last traces of spirit energy, Cushioning the impact, but it was of no use. The force severely injured His internal organs and quite a number of His bones got fractured….. He, now She was motionless…. Powerless..... On the verge of her end..

With no energy, the once handsome man turned into a pale faced friel beauty as she laid there on the bloody ground.

Drezari turned and noticed a change in His features....

He who is now She!!? …..

NO!!!!!

Nooo!!!!

he cried… looking at his hands, the very hards that shot the arrow and at the sight of them, they drove him crazy. He actually killed the love of his life with his own hands.

'No, why choose Him to be with, why, me to hurt you??! !I need to fix this… Somehow!! Even if it takes for me to see you in another life… I'll do it.. Kethziah…!!

He screams in pain still crying with trembling hands and body….. Wait for me… I'm... I'm coming!!

With shame he ran away…

Back at the portal… … He, about leaving the Portal….. .

"But sir, you can ascend to the ninth- level of godhood and make history.

 It'll just take a few hours”, the black robed man said.

He was just to witness the first ninth tevelled god in Tens of thousands of years.

 "Something urgent is happening that needs my attention.

 I'm just frankly feeling too uneasy. It feels like Kethriah is talking to me and I don't not like what I'm hearing.

The black robed man let out a sigh. I you can come back, remember to do so".

He left without hearing out the Black robed man.. .

 Soon the portal door appeared and He walked out without looking back.

The anxious look on the black robed men disappeared. ‘What a frightening perception.. . Looks like things are going to get more interesting.....

Saying this, the man hummed a tune and turned to go deeper into the ancient forest….

He left the portal, arrived at the battle field and was shocked.

The world was in chaos and blood was flowing like an endless ever increasing river. He increasingly grew anxious…. .

 “So that was why she urged for him to grow quickly . He pulled his hair in panic, and self-loathing increasing.

Why? Why were the heavens treating him this way?

 He looked for her, hoping she wasn't dead. And then, he saw her…..

The man that was rumored to be cold blooded, killing without blinking……, broke into tears for the first time in his life.

"How could you Kethziah , how could you?

You let yourself face all danger alone,

do you think you are a god?"

"Natharies , l am A fifth leveled god, she said with a weak smile but she soon coughed out blood. Natharies then noticed the arrow.

“ Who did this??!! ”

His eyes narrowed

Drezari did this!!!!

“but it doesn't matter. I haven't

congratulated you for reaching the eight level of god hood. You're a genius. “, said Kethziah.

“I might be a genius but what am I without you?", He said.

 "Hey, you still are…..”

"Shhh... Save your strength, I must have a pul that could help you. Saying that, he started searching for his spirit ring.. .

He took a handful of healing pills and shoved them carefully into her mouth.

Although his actions looked rough, he still was gentle when his hand reached her mouth.

“Ah….. yes. There's also water from the Heavenly spring. Quickly….. drink up.”

“No Natharies keep it for your own use. You would need when breaking to the ninth-level…..

Imagine the 1st ninth-leveled god in years was actually my man.”

She smiled weakly

“Kethziah don't do this to me…. If you leave the world, I'm leaving with you.”

“Don't do that Natharies. But, if... if you ever find another person you will love, remember to not forget me okay?”

 "I can't forget you Kethziah, and I would not get another woman and you are not going to die!!”

Natharies Said speaking in a weaker tone.

 She looked at him, eyes filled with so many emotions.

 This aloof man, he shed every bit of aloofness . She sighed and closed her eyes, remembering every memory she had with him, friends and her family that she loved….

From the moment she met him, to her family's death, to the moment he promised to be with her at all cost, all her dates with him, his loving eyes each time he smiled…….

All of a sudden, She realized she didn't want to die. She still wanted to live a really long life with him…. Marry him….. Bear his children and watch the sunset together… LovingLoving him till they were all wrinkly, gray and old.

Tears slowly sliding down her eyes to her cheeks.

‘Natharies, if we had a second chance in life, or if we could reincarnate into another life….

Would you still want to be with me?

“I would always want you and I can't live without you…”

She said in a fainter tone giving a weak smile.

“I know…..”

Using the last bit of her strength she tries to prep up herself and gently kissed his cheek

“ I love you Natharies……..”

Hearing that, she gave a smile so pure and bright as her eyes were…. They closed..

As this happened, a storm started to form as Natharies anger kept growing……

He shouted, his eyes filled with despair and a hint of madness.

" You promised to never leave me... But you still left me in the end.... Why?!!!!"

The tip in emotions made him to unconsciously release an energy storm, and he started he's breakthrough.

After breaking through to the ninth - level in godhood, the sky's color changed to a gray like blue color making its surrounding areas darker , isolated... Glowing in blue light .

Bolts of lightning rained down on him with shards of ice.

Larva and vines emerge violently from the ground beneath him... And the ground gradually turned into a sinkhole.

A heavyweight like pressure coming from the Heavens befell on him making it difficult for him to fly.

Wind blades cutting him left to right at different angles.....

As a supreme genius, he was highly talented in all natural elements.... But now.... Those elements seemed to turn against him.

His eyes constricted when he saw a bolt of lightening going in Kethziah's dead body's direction...

He hurriedly ew to her despite the pains he was experiencing at the moment.... Now the lightening

Striking his back leaving a big scar on his back...

He groaned muffling his agony.... Swallowed the blood coming up his throat.

As expected, it was a dual lightening bolt that was testing his soul and body.

But he was ten times stronger than a regular one...

He carried her body and tried to fly away to a safer surrounding, but that made this situation to worsen.

All elements of fire, ice and lightening struck him with greater power and the vines started to surround him creating a maze wall of vines, ice and fire all combinedvu e from the wall took Kethziah's body squeezing it tightly and violently.

"Kethziah!!!! No!!!!"

Not minding the elements, he flew to her and grabbed his sword, swinging it across the tip vines swishing Kethziah's body.

He cut off the vine, carrying Kethziah in his arms.

He hugged her body as the elements surrounding him stars to become strongerintoxicating.... If he dared to move, the pressure coming against him would increase.....

If it were any other person, that person would have died instantly at the first attack by the elements....

He flew back down gently dropping Kethziah on the ground...... He starts to use his spirit energy to make sure she wouldn't sink.... His hands formed seals as he starts to chant an ancient mantra.

Upon hearing the mantra, the elements grew stronger, almost being tripled in power... Trying to destroy him before he could get the chance to complete it.

But he seemed untouchable along with the ground Kethziah laid on.

He continues to chant an ancient spirit Mantra.

His human status starts to divide into body, soul and spirit.... The three couldn't do without each other. As time passed on, knowledge about the spirit disappeared because not much was known by him about the spirit.

The spirit was the most important component of a person.

It determines so many things, and the mantra in his hands could use his spirit to protect his soul and could even transfer it to a completely different timeline.

After completing the mantra, the elements stopped.

It seemed the Heavens were afraid, but why??

He looked up and saw the Dragon Clan at a distance.

All sides, people there... With different families that refused to help Kethziah when she was in danger.... But was this anger he was feeling valid??

"Since you all didn't let Kethziah off,... I Natharies would never let you off too"

That said, he started to explode his soul... As he had a stronger soul than the others.... Only half was used for the mantra...

The soul explosion of a ninth - leveled god was definitely not a small scenery.... Though people ran for safety,, they noticed that their world was also destroying along with Natharies.

He slightly smirked... It seemed the Heavens had finally known that they could no longer do anything to stop him.... And that they were just doing him a favor....

"Not bad", Natharies said.

"But don't touch my girl"

"Cos if you do........"

Natharies eyes turn pitch blue as he starts to float in the air.

He left with a threat hanging....

A bolt of lightening struck as if the Heavens had made an agreement with him....

"Good", he said..

He then closed his eyes...

"Wait for me Kethziah….... I promise I'll come for you.... I may not remember some things at the beginning... But I'll try........"

With that, Natharies hugged Kethziah..... closed his eyes as he and the world surrounding him disappeared...............

The world had been destroyed..... But Drezari had already left the world pursuing an answer to his mission to get to Kethziah before Natharies.......

In an abandoned world, already in Drenches and the remains of dead gods laying almost everywhere.....

In a cave where Drezari hid a piece of the Jade bracelet his family had stolen .....

"I would use this to get to her, hopefully I would lose no memory from this present world....... Thus piece should be powerful enough to get there"

" And Im certain that of I find the remaining lost pieces.... Kethziah would have no other choice but to stand by my side....... "

He starts to laugh maniacally.... Drezari's love for Kethziah was obsessive and not pure like Natharies' love......

He then starts to chant an evil ancient mantra, quickly dividing his soul, body and spirit... Transferring him to the world where Kethziah and Natharies would end up in.......

His body then disappears into dust... Leaving his soul and spirit to go to the new world.....

With that he said

"I'm coming for you Kethziah...... Just you wait"

With that his soul and spirit disappeared travelling into the new world......
