Her breath felt like it was going to run out. Her lungs felt like they were being stabbed by thousands of needles. Her vision also started to blur.
"KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN, KUSHINA!" Minato shouted.
She kept trying to open her eyes. However, the drowsiness was so heavy, that she wanted go to sleep.
A short nap won't hurt anyone, dattebane?
She closed her eyelids to go to sleep, and the last thing she heard in her ears was the sound of Minato screaming her name before everything became silent and dark.
Itadori Jin was feeling extremely nervous. He had been anticipating this moment for quite some time. Occasionally, he would check his watch and the pockets of his pants.
'Luckily, I remembered to bring it, otherwise, I would be so embarrassed,' thought Jin as he took out a small red box from his pocket and placed it back in his pants pocket.
Today was the day, he had been waiting for.
After dating Hana for 2 years and having twin baby boys who were just 3 months old. He was going to propose to her and make her his wife. He had also arrived early at their agreed-upon meeting place to surprise Hana with this.
For the past two hours, Jin had been waiting in the park. Hana had still not appeared. The time on his watch showed 11:30 PM, close to midnight. There was nobody else in the park except for him, sitting alone on a park bench.
"It seems like she won't come today. Should I just go home now? Or should I wait here for a few more minutes?" Jin wondered.
His thoughts were interrupted when his brown eyes caught sight of something suddenly shining brightly behind the bushes. The light quickly faded, but Jin's curiosity remained undiminished. He walked towards the source of the shining light, eager to satisfy his curiosity. As he approached the bushes, he caught a glimpse of what lay behind them.
The first words that escaped his mouth were,
"Gorgeous."
There, lying unconscious on the ground, was a woman with a stunningly beautiful face and long, red hair resembling a blooming rose. Her attire was unfamiliar to Itadori Jin, not something he had seen on an average woman.
It was only then that he realized the severity of her injuries when he saw her abdomen oozing fresh blood, almost the exact shade as her hair. Panic set in, and without hesitation, he quickly took off his jacket and used it to tie around her wound, temporarily stopping the bleeding. Swiftly, he picked her up and hurriedly carried her back to his house.
Upon arriving home, Itadori Jin burst through the door, startling Itadori Wasuke, who was still awake. Wasuke was so shocked that he nearly choked on the pill he was about to take before going to bed.
"What the fuck-?"
Before scolding his son for barging into their home, his eyes caught sight of Gin cradling a badly injured woman with long red hair, and his son's expression was filled with deep concern.
"Dad, could you bring my medicine box?" pleaded Jin to his father.
Wasuke had a sense of deja vu. Suddenly, he remembered about 17 years ago when Jin, who was only 5 years old at the time, came home with tears streaming down his cheeks, carrying a fallen baby bird from its nest.
"Dad, could you help it?" his son pleaded, crying for the injured bird with a wounded wing.
"Dad."
"Dad."
"DAD, HURRY!"
A scream from his son snapped Wasuke back to reality. He immediately began searching for the medicine box that Gin kept in his room.
With great caution, he carefully retrieved the medicine from underneath his son's bed, making sure not to disturb his two grandsons, Sukuna and Yuuji, who were still fast asleep on the nearby bed.
Wasuke closed the door to his son's room softly before rushing downstairs to the first floor. In the living room, he saw his son, Jin, who had already undressed the red-headed woman and was carefully cleaning her body with a wet cloth dipped in water to prevent any infections.
"Oh, thanks, Dad. Don't worry, I'll take it from here," Jin said as he took the box of medicine from Wasuke's hand and began treating the woman's wounds with the supplies in the box.
Wasuke observed his focused son tending to the woman's injuries. Her body was covered in cuts and the most severe one was on her stomach.
It seemed someone had a deep hatred for this red-haired woman, inflicting such severe wounds. It was the first time Wasuke had seen someone injured to this extent.
She looked like she had just come from a war.
Wasuke himself doubted whether she would survive and breathe the next day. About an hour later, Wasuke looked at his son, who had just finished stitching up the woman's worst wound and wrapped it with a bandage. They had run out of bandages that night due to the numerous injuries sustained by the red-haired woman.
"Oh, Dad, you're still awake? Remember the doctor's advice to sleep on time and not stay up too late," Jin said, realizing that his father was still awake. Jin had been so focused on treating the woman's wounds that he hadn't noticed Wasuke's presence.
"Forget about the doctor's advice. I'm more experienced than any doctor. I know my physical limits very well. Besides, how can I sleep when I see you coming in like this? Who is that woman? Where's your supposed girlfriend? Weren't you supposed to go on a date with her?" Wasuke asked, questioning his son.
Upon hearing his father's response and questions, Jin could only shake his head, frustrated by his father's disregard for his own well-being and apparent animosity towards Hana, his girlfriend.
"Hana didn't come to the park tonight. Maybe she's busy-"
"Forget it, your Hana only came here to drop off her two kids before disappearing who knows where! Do you still think she'll come on a date after abandoning Yuuji and Sukuna here? I'm sure she's out partying at some nightclub, with shady men, offering herself to others behind your back," Wasuke interrupted angrily.
"ENOUGH, DAD!" Jin shouted. Wasuke immediately fell silent and stared sharply at his son.
"That's enough, Father. I understand you've never liked Hana. But she's the one who filled the void in my heart after Rui passed away. Hana is also the one who gave you your grandchildren, Yuuji and Sukuna. I know she has her flaws, but I love her. Without her, I might still be consumed by thoughts of Rui's death for the rest of my life," Jin said, tears streaming down his face as he remembered his tragically departed first love.
Wasuke remained silent and walked towards his bedroom. Before closing the door, he said to his son, "Just so you know, my instincts are always right about someone's true nature and character. So don't come running to me, crying and complaining, when Hana's true colours come out and break your heart."
BAM.
Jin could only watch as his father's bedroom door slammed shut loudly. Jin's evening took a turn for the worse. Feeling defeated, he found himself sitting on the floor in the living room, impacted by the hurtful words his father had just uttered.
The weight of the evening's events left him emotionally drained. It was supposed to be a perfect night for Jin. He had planned to propose to Hana at the end of their date.
They would become husband and wife, creating a life together with their twin sons. However, fate had a different plan. Hana didn't show up for their date, despite being the one who had asked Jin out for the evening.
Instead, Jin found a red-haired woman lying unconscious and badly injured in the park. He decided to take her home and did his best to tend to her wounds. Unfortunately, it seemed as though luck was not on his side when it came to matters of Love.
Wasuke could not sleep peacefully after arguing with his only son, Jin.
Jin, just like his late mother who passed away when he was 10 years old, was too kind and naive. Even after his mother's death, Jin still held onto her teachings, as she was a nurse during her lifetime.
Jin inherited his mother's talent for healing others, as well as her innate goodness and naivety. When they were teenagers, Wasuke, who was close friends with his wife, would often witness her being teased and pranked by her older classmates at school.
Sometimes, she wouldn't even realize that she was being pranked by her seniors.
"Let's not jump to conclusions, Suke-kun. Maybe they are genuinely in need of money,"
"But they're from a wealthy family! You don't need to give them any money!" retorted Wasuke.
Since then, Wasuke made a strong commitment to always protect his late wife from people who want to take advantage of her kindness and naivety. Now, his only son is being taken advantage of as well. His son's heart is being played with by his supposed girlfriend.
Despite Hana's responsibility in giving birth to his twin grandchildren, Wasuke will never approve of a relationship between his son and Hana. However, he is unsure how to make his beloved son trust his words. Wasuke feels lost and doesn't know what to do.
"Oh, darling. If only you were still alive. You would know what to do for our child," he murmured, kissing the wedding ring he still wears from his late wife.
Wasuke hopes and prays to a higher power for guidance and protection for his son and grandchildren from any potential harm.
He also hopes his son realizes and finds a better partner than the one he has now.
"Did you kill him, yet?"
"No, my deepest apologies, Kenjaku-sama," replied the black-robed figure. "The person you wanted me to target was not present."
Kenjaku seemed to pause for a moment, then took a seat in one of the chairs, crossing his legs. "Alright then. Go back to your original position. I'll handle this problem myself in the future."
"Understood, Kenjaku-sama," responded the figure.
The curse quickly vanished, leaving the black-robed figure alone in the room. He pondered on the necessary steps he needed to take to achieve the success he desired.
"Jin, Jin," he mumbled to himself.
"You are such a troublesome human."
Kurama really didn't like this situation.
Wait, scratch that though.
He absolutely Hate It.
When his Jinchuriki died in their foolish ninja war, he was supposed to be released from the seal placed on his body and be born again, free from the constraints of a weak human body. He should be free.
Then, he could easily kill the other Jinchuriki who sealed away his siblings, taking their rightful powers and deceiving them with false promises of being treated well.
However, it seems he underestimated the sealing abilities of the Uzumaki clan.
Instead of being reborn freely into the world after Kushina's death, as he should have been able to within the next 10 years, he was forcefully dragged into Another World alongside Kushina.
The seal placed personally by Uzumaki Mito, who was Hashirama's wife and Kushina's great-grandmother, not only bound Kurama, the Nine-Tails Fox, to Kushina's body but also bound both of them together in spirit and death.
When Kushina died, it was also the death of Kurama.
Reluctantly, Kurama slowly healed Kushina's injuries through the seal, ensuring her survival. However, even with the presence of someone who tended to Kushina's wounds, Kurama knew it wasn't enough. Despite the renowned stamina, vigour, and immense chakra of the Uzumaki clan, they were ultimately still mere humans who would meet the same fate as any other mortals.
They will die.
Soon or later.
"Such a bother," Kurama grumbled before falling asleep.
At least, with Kushina unconscious, Kurama felt some relief that its body wasn't bound by those foolish chains. If that little girl attempted to restrain him again with her chains. Kurama would make her regret her actions.
Jin is watching his mother tend to a wounded baby bird that he found after it fell from its nest in a tall tree.
This isn't the first time Jin has found a fallen baby bird. In fact, almost two to three times a week, he discovers injured baby birds near the trees where he usually plays.
His mother takes great care in treating the bird's wounds. "Mom," he calls out. His mother, still focused on the baby bird, asks,
"Yes, my dear, what is it?" Jin hesitates for a moment and then asks,
"Why did you marry Dad and not someone else?"
His question catches his mother slightly off guard.
"Why are you asking that?"
"Well, I accidentally overheard other parents picking up their kids from school talking about how Dad is completely incompatible and always mean to you." Jin thought his mother would be angry with the gossip. But instead, he saw her quietly laugh as if she had heard a joke. Jin was just confused by her reaction.
"Why are you laughing, Mom? I'm serious about this question," Jin grumbled, pouting.
"I'm sorry, my dear. I laughed because I found that bizarre rumour amusing. It makes no sense at all," she explained.
"Then why didn't you marry someone else? Dad always complains about you, Mom."
"Oh, Jin, my beloved son. Without the help of your father, you might not have been born into this world. Besides, even though your father complains a lot and can be harsh with words, he is the only person who is honest and kind to me. Despite there being many other men who are more handsome and financially stable than your father, he is the one who accepts me for who I am and always protects me from harm."
"So, Dad is Mom's hero, right?" This time, his mother burst into laughter upon hearing his words.
"Yes, Jin. Dad is Mom's hero," she said, then smiled gently and hugged Jin tightly in her embrace.
That's the memory Jin remembers from his mother before the disastrous fire engulfed their home.
"Jin, where is your mother?!" His father asked, panic evident on his face.
"Mom is still inside, dad!" Jin shouted.
Before his father could enter the house and rescue his mother, a massive explosion erupted from inside, propelling Jin and his father far away, their backs colliding with the trees. The last thing he remembers is the intense heat of the raging fire consuming their home and his father screaming his name.
"Jin, wake up."
"Jin, wake up."
"JIN, WAKE UP!" Suddenly, he jolts awake from the dream, feeling his arm burning as if on fire.
Jin quickly stood up and saw the sofa where the red-haired woman had been lying, now melting under the foaming red light that surrounded her body. The couch and the bandages wrapped around the woman's body were melting like a candle.
"FIRE!" Jin yelled in panic as he grabbed a basket filled with water from the bathroom and hastily threw it at the woman's body.
The water he poured turned into vapour as soon as it touched her. He then rushed back to the bathroom to fetch more water.
Unbeknownst to Jin, a few drops of water had entered the swirling red foam and landed on the woman's face. This caused the woman, who was initially unconscious, to awaken from her sleep.
Her violet eyes slowly opened, and she gradually stood up from where she had been lying. The woman still hadn't realized that she was emitting a red foamy light from her entire body and that she was completely naked.
Kushina woke up with blurry eyes, feeling weak and disoriented. She realized she was in a room with unfamiliar facilities.
Where was she now?
Could it be that she was kidnapped again?
Her thoughts were interrupted when she noticed a man with pink hair running towards her, holding a bucket in his hand. Instinctively, Kushina prepared herself for a fight, even in her weakened state, expecting the man to attack her.
However, to her surprise, he threw the bucket of water directly onto her face.
"WHY ARE YOU THROWING WATER AT ME, DATTEBANE?!" Kushina shouted.
"You're on FIRE!" responded the man, pointing at her body.
Kushina looked down and saw that her body was covered in red, melting chakra, which was affecting the objects and even her clothes, leaving her completely naked.
"Uh, What Should I Do, Dattebane?!" she exclaimed.
"Turn off whatever is causing that BEFORE MY HOUSE CATCHES FIRE TOO!" the man yelled at Kushina. She tried to calm herself down and regain control of the red chakra, forcing it back into her body.
Jin couldn't believe his eyes as he witnessed the unbelievable sight before him. It defied all logic and reason. The redhead woman standing in front of him had woken up with severe injuries that miraculously vanished from her body in a matter of moments.
The faint red glow emitting from her body slowly dissipated into thin air. However, as Jin turned his gaze, he noticed that the sofa and the coffee table were melting like candles, and this time the fire was truly roaring in the living room.
"AH, FIRE! WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING, DATTEBANE!"
"DON'T JUST STAND THERE! GET AWAY FROM THERE IMMEDIATELY!"
He was about to fetch water again to douse the flames in the living room.
"WAIT, I GOT THIS! SUITON: MIST RAIN NO JUTSU!" suddenly shouted the redhead woman, causing Jin to pause his steps towards the bathroom.
Kushina only used a small amount of chakra in this jutsu because it's considered a low-level C-rank technique that even regular genin can perform. She did this to create a gentle drizzle to extinguish the flames.
However, instead of a light rain, a storm with strong winds unexpectedly erupted inside the room. The raging fire in the living room immediately went out as it was drenched by heavy rain. The rainwater slowly started filling up the room, forming a pool that quickly filled the space.
"AH, TURN IT OFF!" shouted the man.
Kushina tried, but for some reason, she couldn't control the flow of her chakra as she normally would, which meant she couldn't control the new jutsu she had just activated.
"I CAN'T, DATTEBANE!"
"THEN HOW LONG WILL THIS STORM LAST?"
"PROBABLY 10 MINUTES, DATTEBANE!"
"SHIT!"
Wasuke woke up from his sleep and then heard his son and a woman yelling along with the sound of commotion in the living room. He quickly got out of bed and headed towards the living room.
There, he witnessed his son throwing water out of the room with the help of a red-haired woman whom his son had found in the park the night before, who was completely butt-ass naked. It seemed like there was a heavy rain accompanied by strong winds happening in the living room of his house.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!"
"I AM SO SORRY, DATTEBANE!"
"Gojo-sama, it's already late at night. Aren't you going to bed yet?"
The servant's back stood on end as he saw the piercing blue eyes of young master Gojo Satoru staring sharply at him. Quickly, the servant bowed his head to the floor, showing respect to The Blessed Child of Gojo Clan.
"I'm not ready to sleep yet, so just leave me alone," said Young Master Gojo, turning away and walking towards the garden. The servant hurriedly moved away from the garden to obey Young Master Gojo's command. After a few meters, he muttered,
"What a spoiled brat," and walked off to report the behaviour of Young Master Gojo to the elder of the Gojo Clan.
Satoru felt that tonight the air was somehow different, although his Six Eyes did not detect anything unusual. This world was still filled with negative energy, cursed energy, and curses. People openly or silently cursed each other, consumed by hatred.
This was a familiar part of Satoru's life at the age of 11.
It was a common human behaviour to curse someone they despised, which in turn summoned curses into the world. However, tonight, Satoru had a premonition that something significant was going to happen.
Something Big.
Something that could change the cursed fate of this world.
So, he made the decision to stay up for this night only, despite having a busy schedule tomorrow. His curiosity could not be easily quelled.
He waited, alone, in the garden, for something to happen. Four hours had passed, and yet, nothing occurred.
Perhaps it was just his intuition playing tricks on him, urging him to stay awake.
He rose from his seat and strolled towards the gate, ready to leave the Gojo Clan's serene sanctuary. Suddenly, his steps came to a halt, frozen in awe. Satoru's Six Eyes widened as his gaze fixed upon the northern sky.
His incredulity soared as he beheld a breathtaking spectacle. A cascade of radiant energy descended from the heavens, resembling a comet ablaze with ethereal brilliance.
Cursed energy is typically associated with dark hues such as black and deep navy. These colours symbolize the negative energy often associated with cursed energy. Normally, the presence of cursed energy instilled fear and anxiety in ordinary people who come close to it.
Yet, this energy shimmered with an array of vibrant hues, predominantly in shades of crimson, orange, and ivory. It was akin to witnessing a rainbow emerging after a heavy rainfall, warming the hearts of all who beheld it.
Unbeknownst to Satoru, a warm smile formed on his face as he absorbed the captivating sight.
His hand instinctively reached towards the sky, as if yearning to grasp and hold onto this peculiar energy, to experience its warmth. However, in a fleeting moment, the energy vanished, dispersing like dust carried away by the wind.
It disappeared in the far northern region, beyond where the Gojo Clan Residence stood.
Satoru really wants to follow the path where this energy originates. However, he decides against it.
It would seem strange if Satoru asked his servant to take him to the northern area without any apparent reason. The Jujutsu elders would immediately become suspicious of Satoru's behaviour.
The worst-case scenario is that the Jujutsu elders' subordinates would discover the source of the energy before Satoru does, which could lead to complications. Furthermore, Satoru is confident that no one else knows about the existence of this strange energy except for himself.
Only with his Six Eyes can he clearly see the presence and form of the energy. When this peculiar energy appears, cursed energy remains the same.
Curses still roam freely.
Nothing has changed.
This will just be a little secret that Satoru promises himself not to tell anyone until he discovers the origin of this peculiar energy.
It's a Binding Vow.
Wasuke felt twice his age with what had just happened this morning. His eyes were fixed on the woman with red hair named Uzumaki Kushina, who was sitting with her legs folded behind her. Kushina's face was downcast, her cheeks flushed the same colour as her red hair, and she felt embarrassed about what had just happened in Wasuke's living room.
The day before, Wasuke was just a normal Japanese senior citizen, living a normal life with his family, without any spiritual disturbances.
Don't get him wrong, Wasuke believed in the existence of the supernatural, but he believed that the world of the occult was hidden from the view of the outside world. He believed in the existence of invisible supernatural beings capable of disrupting people's lives without their knowledge.
However, Wasuke didn't believe in magic or the tricks performed by street magicians when he went grocery shopping. In his opinion, magic was nothing more than deception carried out by skilled individuals who manipulated people with their tricks, making them believe they could perform magic. In reality, it was all just an optical illusion.
That was Wasuke's principle regarding magic.
But after seeing the state of his living room this morning, he felt like taking back his words.
The furniture in his living room was still wet after being drenched by a sudden heavy rain that appeared inside the room. Even his son, Jin, had to remove the sofa, living room table, and carpet that seemed to be melting like wax, rendering them unusable.
All of this was because of Uzumaki Kushina, who wanted to extinguish a fire that had started inside the living room house by magically summoning a heavy rain that would put off the fire.
The stress that Wasuke was already experiencing increased with the chaotic state of his living room.
Fortunately, his twin grandsons were still sound asleep in their room upstairs while a literal storm was happening in the living room. Today was truly strange for Wasuke. He could only sigh deeply through his nose.
Honestly, Wasuke was somewhat confused about what to do. Uzumaki Kushina didn't seem to be a native of Sendai, and she likely came from a remote island area in Japan that was not as developed as the modern era.
Moreover, with Uzumaki's way of speaking, always adding "Dattebane" as an ending and claiming to be from Konohagakure No Sato (Hidden Village in Leaf), Wasuke deduced that Uzumaki Kushina lived in a secluded island region.
Maybe in her place, there were many wizards who could perform magic like Uzumaki, summoning storms inside the living room while the weather outside was bright and sunny, with the morning sun shining through the glass windows of Wasuke's house.
This caused damage to the furniture in Wasuke's living room, and Uzumaki Kushina didn't have the yen currency to pay for it. When asked for compensation, she innocently asked,
"What's a yen, Dattebane? I only have Ryo with me."
Wasuke really wanted to empathize with Uzumaki Kushina's current situation because firstly, she was seriously injured when Wasuke's son, Gin, found her unconscious and exposed in a park.
Secondly, Uzumaki Kushina doesn't have a single yen to replace the damaged household items that were ruined due to her actions.
Lastly, Uzumaki Kushina seemed confused when Wasuke mentioned Japanese cities and was amazed by ordinary modern household items like TVs as if she had never seen a flat-screen TV in her entire life.
But, right now. Wasuke is giving zero fuck about that facts.
"So, how do you intend to make up for the mess you created in my living room?" Wasuke asked sternly, fixing his gaze on Uzumaki Kushina. She hung her head in shame, fully aware of the consequences of her actions.
"Dad, please," Jin pleaded, feeling sympathetic towards the woman being reprimanded by her father.
"Hush, Jin! I directed that question at Uzumaki, not you!" Wasuke snapped back at his son, shutting down any further interference.
"But we have insurance to cover damages to the furniture. There's no need to treat Uzumaki-san like this." Gin reasoned, trying to find a practical solution.
"Oh, how convenient that you seem to have forgotten. If we want to claim home furniture insurance from the insurance company, we need to give them an accurate account of what happened. What am I supposed to tell them when they ask why my living room furniture is damaged and flooded?" Wasuke's voice dripped with sarcasm.
"Should I say, 'Oh, you see, a woman accidentally almost set my house on fire, so she decided to summon a literal storm inside my living room to put it out'—just your usual Sunday morning?" Wasuke finished with a hint of mockery, making it clear that the situation was far from ordinary.
Jin could only exhale in frustration towards his father, who stubbornly insisted that Uzumaki-san should compensate for what had just happened. However, before Jin could respond to his father's words, Uzumaki Kushina spoke up.
"I... I may not have anything valuable left to compensate for what I have done. But I still want to make it up to you in any way possible, even if it means offering my own body," Uzumaki Kushina said firmly, bowing her head respectfully to Wasuke.
Jin's cheeks immediately flushed red upon hearing the ambiguity in Uzumaki-san's words about offering her body. His mind quickly shook off any lewd thoughts.
"We need money, not a whore,"
"DAD!"
"N-No, that's not what I meant, Dattebane! Since birth, I have had a strong body. So let me use my body to work and pay for the damages to your equipment," Uzumaki Kushina said, her cheeks blushing red.
Wasuke closed his eyes momentarily, pondering Uzumaki Kushina's offer.
"Alright, you can work off the damage to my furniture using your physical labour," Wasuke said.
"Yes, when do I start-?" Kushina's question was interrupted by Wasuke.
"Hold on, before we proceed, I have a question. Have you ever babysat a baby before?" Wasuke asked.
"Back when I was a teenager, frequently, dattebane," Kushina answered, recalling her days as a genin when she often took on D-rank missions with her team to babysit wealthy civilian children. A smile appeared on Wasuke's face upon hearing Kushina's response.
"That's good then. As compensation for the damaged furniture, you can become a babysitter for my twin grandsons," replied Wasuke.
"What?! Dad, that's not necessary. We don't need a babysitter to take care of Yuuji and Sukuna," Jin countered, failing to see the point of hiring Uzumaki-san as the babysitter for his twin sons. Wasuke could only roll his eyes at his son's response.
"Jin, do you realize that you work at the office from 8 am to 6 pm every day, Monday to Saturday? When you come home from work, you're often so exhausted that you fall asleep on the couch without even changing or having dinner first. You only have free time for your twin sons on Sundays. As for me, I'm 50 years old now, not as young as before. Worse things could happen to them like they could get hurt under my supervision. I need someone to watch over them when I fall asleep after taking my medication. Just so you know, the medication prescribed by the doctor makes me sleepy. That's why I only take it at night, even though the recommended dosage is three times a day," Wasuke explained at length. However, Jin insisted on his point of view.
"But we have Irumi-san, our neighbour, who can help us watch over Yuuji and Sukuna for a while," Jin argued.
"Heh, Irumi can only watch over them occasionally, for a maximum of one hour. Otherwise, we can't rely on him as a temporary guardian for your twin children," Wasuke explained.
This time, Jin was at a loss for words.
What his father said had some truth to it.
It made sense.
Sometimes his workload at the office was overwhelming, and even after coming home, he would continue working on unfinished tasks. Yuuji and Sukuna still needed extra supervision as they were only three months old.
Seeing his son speechless in response to his arguments, Wasuke smiled with victory. Then his attention turned to Uzumaki Kushina, who had been quietly observing Jin and Wasuke's argument.
"Congratulations, You're Hired."
