They're are beasts that kill with no mercy, they hunt with no mercy and prey on everyone weak or strong they won't care. They can appear anywhere and anytime. There first appearance was in the 5th century they destroyed millions of acres of land and killed millions until, he appeared an orphan boy taken in by his grandfather was the first person to counter these beasts at the mere age of five. His name was Terashi Nishimura, the first sage. He paved the way for humanity and began the sage era an era littered with sages and the beginning of humanity rebellion. By the 10th century they all vanished never ti be seen again and just like that the number if sages decreased. The most powerful sage abilities including Sun ability, Lightning ability, Flame ability and Electric ability were scarce as the majority were given either an ice ability or water ability

It's currently the year 2010 and were introduced to some teenagers playing basketball while others are blasting music on a boombox, the one holding the boombox, Jackson turned off the music all of a sudden his friends turned to look at him,, and they were met with a look of fear, Jackson was sweating bullets, one of his friends called Miko asked him what's wrong and in a fearful voice he said," there back, and they'll kill us, run. " They all burst out laughing and Miles casually told him to put the music bask on, but Jackson kept on insisting that they should all leave that there were entities nearby and that they were about to die but none of them listened until a loud crash was heard and Jackson was ripped in two by a seeker. These were skinny tall and bony creatures with sharp claws and teeth with pale white skin. They screamed in horror as they watched they're friend been eaten alive which not only caught the attention of the seeker but of other seekers in the area which devoured all the thirteen teens at the basketball court. A black silhouette can be seen near Jackson's dead body,, but the seekers ignored it as it was a special type of entity known as a shifter, they're notorious for killing people and taking their forms to only kill more people.

...This shifter in particular was not normal it belonged to the special type of shifter that had a human like appearance without needing to eat a person and could speak human language. In a deep and outpost cruel voice it spoke," what a mess, it's not common to find thirteen teens hanging out in a nearly abounded area what a bunch of idiots." laughing slowly," you had a great opportunity to run but did not listen such a shame your smart friend had to die first, oh well.". The shifter began walking away followed by the seekers dragging the teens bodies away in their mouths. And in a heartbeat they disappeared into a portal into the realm of entities to show off their catch of the day....

We're introduced to Riko Nishimura, the descendant of Terashi Nishimura the first sage.Riko is the last born of the royal family if the North Empire, he has two caring older siblings, a loving mom and a cold father. He is short for his age and has luminous green eyes and white hair which constantly got him bullied as none of his family mmembers has white hair. He is quite shy and prefers being alone. One day as he was playing hide and seek with his older brother and sister, his cold and unforgiving farther grabbed him and while scolding his son threw him aggressively into a room his siblings were following him and his mother was in the room where he was thrown into. In a cold voice his father ordered him to get up though bruised he got up relenctuntally. He was dragged to the center the room as his siblings watched in despair not being able to help. This was an annual event for their family as they were required to produce one suitable sage for their army and this year was the last born Riko's chance to unlock his sage ability just as his siblings did. His older sister had an ice ability while his eldest brother had a flame ability. Angrily his father said," what are you waiting for you mistake get up and hit the target."

Scared he faces the target and began channeling energy to destroy it but failed at first, his father snapped and hit him, so he tried again, and this time was successful in channeling energy but nothing happened everyone was confused except Riko who was filled with fear on what would happen to him. And fell to his knees scared, but before his father could react a guard ran up and said, "Your Majesty several dead entities have been retrieved near the castle, apparently they were killed by several calculated lightning strikes, sir" the emperor said to the guard," take this mistake out of my eyes and to the laboratory. " The guard nodded and picked Riko and dragged him to the laboratory where he was to be tested for a potential sage ability. If the tests were negative Riko would either be tortured day in day out to suicide or kill his own father or if the tests were positive he would undergo strict twenty-four-hour training in the woods either way both outcomes were a nightmare to his poor five-year-old self who didn't understand anything. All he could do was comply as no one was there to help him.He was alone.

After taking the tests Riko was set free and immediately his mother grabbed him and treated his wounds alongside his siblings and some maids. The laboratory was like a slaughterhouse and was unbearable to an adult let alone a five-year-old, he was injured, bruised and scared he was crying uncontrollably. He wasn't crying cause of the injuries but of the results fearing for his life. He could only wait for the horrors that await him.

It was around three in the morning when Riko was awoken abruptly by his father's voice calling out to him in a cold-hearted tone, and by an arm dragging him out of bed forcefully."You little brat get up, " the emperor roared scaring young Riko causing him to resist but as a small 5 year old what could he do. The heartless emperor dragged his last born son to a training ground on an early and cold autumn morning to train him or was he. After violently being thrown to the ground young Riko raised hos haze to scan his surroundings that was when he saw a tall man looking down on him. Cold and afraid Riko collapsed a laid on the cold, hard ground. The tall man and the emperor had a serious talk and by the end of it the tall man walked away with one of his bodyguards carrying young Riko on his shoulders and driving of in a black Mercedes. As the emperor watches them go out of his sight of view he turned back and began walking to his bedroom. Glad that he got rid of "that little brat".

The emperor changes and gets up into bed.

* four hours later* Riko wakes up in an unfamiliar setting with his limbs being chained to a wall with heavy waits on the end of each chain. Confused young Riko looks around trying to find a clue that's when he spots a tall, muscular Hispanic man with a gun and in a black and white suit, glaring at the child as if he were some kind of demon. Riko was about to speak when suddenly the tall man from earlier walks in to see Riko awake and instructs the guard to knock him out before carrying him to a room where he was washed, dressed and treated for some minor wounds. Upon waking up Riko was instructed to eat before being taken to a room full of weapons by the tall man and told to choose one to use. Shakily he chooses a katana and takes it. The tall man took Riko outside and introduced him to master Yoshi a traditional Japanese samurai. Riko was quite relived that the tall man was actually nice but little did he know the demon that was disguised int his angelic appearance.

The samurai began by teaching young Riko how to hold a katana in close and ready combat for effective fighting for this he gave Riko a small wooden replica of a katana and asked Riko to attack him, though young Riko was surprisingly good at handling the weapon which made his master very intrigued in the child. At around noon the tall man's wife came up to the two of them while the man was away with business affairs and offered them some food before engaging in some small talk. The woman introduced herself as Risa. Riko was taken aback as he has never received such treatment from his relatives let alone a complete stranger. This made Riko curious as to why master Yoshi and Mrs.Risa were kind to him, although he had a funny appearance but he did not want to air out his opinions due to past accounts.
