Carlene
Just a moment. I'll be there.
Carlene opened the door and went out to see. Carlene was, so enchanted in the music as if it was calling her.
Carlene went further away seeking the voice...
Carlene
Anybody there?? Someone?? Anyone....??
Soon the voice started fading away, and finally it came to an end. When it ended, Carlene felt a chill down her spine. She turned around to see, but there was none.
In a spilt second, as soon as the voice ended Carlene found herself in a completely different environment which wasn't her surrounding. All the houses went missing. All she could see was an endless plain which faced a disaster.
Suddenly something grabbed her feet from the ground. She bowed down to look.... She saw a girl as beautiful as snow smile at her. The longer she smiled, the creepier it was.
Caspian heard a shout but when he rushed out Carlene was already missing. He was knocked out by someone and regained consciousness next morning only.
Next morning in the hospital
Caspian
Yeah!! Where... Where is she??
Caspian
What?? Impossible!!! That's....im.. Impossible!!
Caspian couldn't accept her loss.
After all, their love was enticing and was successful only after certain efforts. Everybody envied them.... But they ended up to be the most pitiful in the end

No!! Nothing at all. But we found the victims' ring at the door step stained with he victims' blood.

On the night Carlene went missing, Shawn dreamt about his late girlfriend holding the hands of Carlene and smiling brightly at him.

All I heard was a shout and I rushed out, but she was already gone.

Caspian fainted again and was taken to the guest room.
After a few hours, Caspian woke up with a sudden shock trying to grab someone. He grabbed Shawn's hand and said

That night, I rushed out when I heard Carlene scream. When I reached the road somebody knocked me from behind.

You.... You weren't found on the road....

You were lying unconscious in the hall.
Caspian

Shawn
Your aunt....!! We..... We have to find her....!!
Caspian
Wait!! Wait...wait!! If my aunt found me, then the police should have already taken her statement. Ask them!!

Shawn went through the records, but there was nothing suspicious
by evening, Caspian returned home.
Caspian went to Carlene's room. In the bottom most rack, he found a package addressed to Carlene and dated a month back. It was unopened.

As Caspian opened it, he found a picture frame with letters craved around of unknown origin. The frame had no photos
The words engraved reminded him of Shawn's mother. She was skilled in it.
Next morning, Caspian went to Shawn's house.

Since it's been years the records were dusted upon. Even the old address had been changed. Shawn didn't know whether his uncle was still alive or not..... after all they weren't blood related.
Days of hard work ended in vain.
