The novel
A quiet coffee shop, late afternoon. The soft hum of chatter and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fill the air. Two people sit at a corner table, engrossed in conversation.
Athena
(sips her coffee, a thoughtful look on her face) "I still can't believe how the novel ended. The villain dying in that accident with his best friend was such a twist
Adrian
(nods, stirring his drink absentmindedly) "Yeah, it was unexpected. I thought the best friend would turn on him, not die alongside him."
She leans back in her chair, crossing her arms
Athena
It made me rethink everything about their relationship. Do you think they planned it?
Adrian
🤨Planned it? Like a suicide pact or something?
She shrugs, a hint of uncertainty in her eyes.
Athena
Maybe. Or maybe it was just a tragic coincidence. But their bond was so complex. It felt like there was more to it than we were told
The boy leans forward, his interest piqued.
Adrian
You might be right. The author left a lot of things open to interpretation. It makes you wonder what their true intentions were
The girl smiles, tapping her fingers on the table

That's what I love about good stories. They leave you thinking long after you've finished reading 😊
The boy chuckles, taking a sip of his drink
Adrian
True. But I still can't decide if I liked the ending or not. It was so... abrupt.
The girl nods in agreement 😌
Athena
Yeah, it was. But maybe that's the point. Life is unpredictable, and sometimes, things end suddenly
The boy tilts his head, considering her words.
Adrian
I guess you're right. It makes the story more real, in a way.
*They sit in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts about the novel.*
Athena
(Breaking the silence) Do you think the author will write a sequel? Maybe we'll get more answers.
Adrian
I hope so 😊. I'd love to know more about the other characters, too. There were so many loose ends.
The girl nods, a hopeful look on her face.
Athena
Yeah, me too. Let's keep an eye out for it.
*They finish their drinks, the conversation gradually shifting to other topics, but the story they discussed lingers in the back of their minds.*
The accident
The evening is settling in as Athena and Adrian leave the coffee shop, their discussion about the novel continuing. They walk side by side, deep in conversation, as they approach a crosswalk
Athena
(kicking a small pebble on the sidewalk) You know, one thing that really bugged me was how it wasn't clear who the male lead loved.
Adrian
(Nodding, his hands in his pockets) Yeah, it was so ambiguous. Sometimes it felt like he had feelings for the villain instead of the heroine
*Athena tilts her head, thinking.*
Athena
Exactly. And the way he acted around both of them made it even more confusing 😵
Adrian
(shrugging) Maybe that was intentional. To keep us guessing and create more tension.
They continue their discussion as they start to cross the road, neither paying attention to the approaching truck
Athena
(sighing) I just wish there was a clear answer. It would have made the story feel more complete
Adrian
(Glancing at her) Yeah, but maybe that's the point. To show that love isn't always straightforward
*As they continue talking, the truck gets closer. Neither of them notices the danger until it's too late. The truck driver honks frantically, but there's not enough time to react.*
*Scene abruptly shifts to chaos as the truck hits both of them, the impact sending them sprawling onto the pavement. The sound of screeching tires and a sudden silence follows.*
The emergency room of a hospital. Doctors and nurses are bustling around, working quickly to save Athena and Adrian, who were brought in on stretchers
Doctor
(Examining Athena) We've got a young female, multiple fractures, possible internal bleeding. We need a CT scan immediately.
Doctor 2
(checking Adrian's vitals) The male's in critical condition. Severe head trauma and broken ribs. We need to stabilize him before we can operate
Nurse
(preparing equipment) BP is dropping on both patients. We need to move fast 😨
The doctors and nurses work with urgency, their faces tense and focused. Athena and Adrian take their last breaths, the sound of medical equipment beeping filling the air
The Abyss
A dark, infinite void. The only sound is the faint echo of their voices. Athena and Adrian find themselves floating, disoriented and confused.
Athena
(voice trembling) Where are we? What's happening?
Adrian
(voice echoing) I don't know. The last thing I remember is... the truck.
Athena
(Realization dawning) Oh no. We were hit. Are we... dead?
Adrian
(pausing) It feels like it. But this doesn't seem like the end, does it?
They float in silence for a moment, the darkness pressing in on them. Suddenly, they hear an unknown voice, deep and resonant, filling the abyss.

Athena
(startled) Who are you? What is this place?
unknown
You were not meant to die today. Your destinies have been altered.
Adrian
(desperately) Can we go back? What happens now? 😟
unknown
You will return, but not to your world or to your own bodies. Your souls will travel into someone else's body in a different world
Athena
(confused) Someone else's body? Who 😕
unknown
You will inhabit the bodies of Alvin and Davina
Athena
(shocked) Alvin and Davina? Are they the villain and villainess of the novel? "Save me"🤯
Adrian
(reflecting) It was such a confusing story. The way the relationships were tangled up made it hard to see who the real villain was.
Athena
(nodding) Yeah, Alvin and Davina saved the female lead in the end, but their roles were so complex
The darkness around them seems to shift, and they feel a force pulling them downwards. A dark hole opens beneath them, and they feel themselves being drawn into it
Athena
(voice filled with determination) Let's do this. Together 🤜
Adrian
(resolutely) Yes, together🤛
As they are pulled into the dark hole, their voices echo in the abyss, a mix of fear and hope. The scene fades to black, leaving only the sound of their breaths and the unknown voice lingering
