Noami breathed in as her eyes squeezed shut. Her eyelids trembled. “Ugh.”

The other plane passengers groaned. Not this again. After all they were trapped in an enclosed space with this woman and naughty child.

A little blonde boy sitting beside her spun around. He immediately stood on his seat. His little arms wrapped around the head rest as he peered at everyone. “Not a word.” He uttered darkly at the other passengers.

“August,” Noami said softly. “Bag,” she then wheezed.

August nodded, and went to work quickly digging in a little green and red fanny pack he had around his waist. Once he found a brown paper bag, he held it out to her.

Noami snatched it as she doubled over. She placed the bag under her face. The acrid feeling, and the smell. She gagged spewing the contents of her stomach which should be empty by all accounts. The flight was not kind to her.

August reached over and patted her arm while frowning. “Don’t worry mommy I’m sure the other passengers understand and will be kind to you.”

“The hell kid,” one passenger shouted. “This flight has been a nightmare with you two.

August slowly turned his head. “I said not a word old man.”

“Who you calling old you wet between the ears brat.” The same passenager spoke as he stood. All the other passenagers remained seated.

August slowly climbed out of his seat. A flight attendant rushed over. “Please be seated sirs we are almost ready to disembark.”

The other passenger, an angry balding man pointed down at August. “Tell him to act right. His mother can not control him. He should be taken away.”

August stood feet apart with folded arms. He stared at the elderly man not blinking or backing down. “You stinky old man. I know your browsing history. One like yourself should be quiet like a mouse.”

Noami lifted her head while groaning. She rubbed her forehead “August please do not it pick fights. It is my fault. I should have made better travel plans.”

“No mommy you did your best. This old man has been picking on us the entire time.” August’s voice raised slightly.

The other passengers developed sweat drops. Their eyes darted away from the scene.

“You shouldn’t be traveling at all especially when you are sick and can’t control your child.” The passenger snapped. He pointed at Noami.

August’s eyes narrowed. “How dare you point my at my mommy! She raised me right!” August ran up to the old man, both of his arms flapped away on each sided.

The old man held his hand out. His hand pressed against August’s head pushing the twerp back.

August pushed against the old man’s hand, pressing back.

The flight attendant stuck her hands up. “please calm down and take your seats.”

August and the other passenger yelled at the flight attendant at the same time. “No!”

The flight attendant’s eyebrows twitched. “Please,”she stated nicely. Finally her eyes held a sharpness to them. “If you both do not behave you will be forcefully removed.”

“August,” said Noami. “Bag.” She stared blankly at her son.

August head did a ninty degree angle. He thenran from the red carpeted aisle to his mother. Once he drew close, Noami reached over and bonked him.

August held his head and looked at her with teary eyes.

“Behave August sit down,” Noami commanded. “Also apologize to the flight attendant when we leave.”

August nodded as he sniffled. He climbed up on his seat.

The passenager who was trying to argue with August pointed, and laughed until he saw the flight attendant point to his own grey felt seat.
