When Sky Meets Earth, Fire and Sea

Mission 01: "HomeComing"

"You finally answered, Allesky!" Said a voice from the phone call that a lady in her black leather jacket listened to upon pressing the phone over her shoulders not verily near her ear.

Allesky Zerclaire. This is her name that resounded the family of which bore her and raised her but now had caused her to flee just so she could save herself to not receive any more physical pain and suffering, most specifically, from the person of whom is speaking to her at the moment.

She furrowed her brows with the echo of the word of her name as she tightened her grip on the strap of her pack bag with her right hand. She had filled it with all she deemed was her necessity to bring with her that made it somewhat heavier than intended.

She fixed it over her shoulder then surged through the crowd proceeding to the outside of the airport distinctively moving her own pace with a vibe of a modern day gangster queen but not necessarily taking much of anybody's attention.

She was poised, delicate, and of natural beauty with a pair of rounded blue eyes she had constructively hidden behind dark-veiled glasses. Her cherry blossom lips showcasing pleasantness and fearsomeness at the same time remained shut without utter reply to the ongoing call. Her vibrant, silky hair danced with the wind that graced her elegant presence as she walked onwards.

"Hello? Do you hear me clearly, young lady? Or are you playing deaf again even in this phone call?" Asks the same gruesome voice of a man who is relatively her father.

"Tsk~ And who would want to answer such a tone of questioning?" Allesky repulsively replied with a tone of annoyance and the irking of her head sideways unable to bear the familiar yet unfamiliar pestering voice of the man, her father, whom over the years used to be as sweet as the Nutella spread that had been his way of spoiling the young lady but is not therefore the same anymore.

Out of the pressing crowds on the sidewalk just a few meters from the vicinity of the airport from which she had gone out, Allesky threaded her way unfocused as she stepped onto the pedestrian crossing but was immediately pulled back to the sides of the road that saved even the bangs of her hair from being caught up to that ten-wheeler truck that maneuvered before her unexpectedly.

She was just so caught up with the presence of the voice speaking from her phone that she failed to give more important attention of her surrounding as well as not looking directly at the bright red light from the pedestrian signal light across the pedestrian crossing that led to that untimely accident if ever that arm didn't appear out of nowhere.

Allesky halted herself when she was back on the sides of the crossing being released from the saving arm that she caught not for it blended in with the strangers around her.

"You, rebellious girl~! I should have sent you first to Schidtz to have you learn your lesson if only you haven't fled back to that country~! You come back here right now or you'll never hear from me again, you understand??" Says the same voice of Allesky's father, more louder and intimidating as before leaving a haughty image in her mind that befits how condescending of a man her father is.

Allesky nonchalantly lowered her arm and away from her ear not letting the audible statements that came afterwards to be heard more for she chose to end the call along with her steps when it was time to cross the pedestrian lane and the once condensing crowd made their way to the other side. It was a short walk to cross that lane but the repressed bitterness that reignited in Allesky's emotion left her walking as if on a twisting black hole sucking up her vision to see the atrocious vintage image of her father she has longed to delete in her memory. The span of time there is to cross that lane was an action not only for her to reach that other side of the road but it was more of a certainty that, finally, Allesky had succeeded to fly her way across the blue waters safely landing on her mother's home country, Elcielo, and totally away from the grasp of her father's influence. It was her greatest escape yet and the thought of which made her breathe anew upon stepping on the next stone block on the other side of the road.

The atmosphere of the new environment left little impression on Allesky as she slowly delved into her earlier years recollecting the big difference that had become of the place for it was already more than the fingers of her hands when she last visited the welcoming country.

She continued to press forward spotting a garbage bin by the outside of a certain building where she simply dropped her phone after resetting it and only keeping the memory card of it that she left and headed to ride a taxi to bring her to a mall. There she selected to buy a new phone and spent some more minutes to cool herself off her earlier inner temper.

After she had gone out when it was already time to leave, she passed by a certain ice cream vendor by the next road block who stood before her way and enticed her to afford the cold delicacy. Being in a state of a hurry, she gave no attention to the man who only stepped aside and let her leave.

However, it was also at that time that Allesky could go a little further that a couple of children clothed in their poor, stinking garbs passed her by and halted their pace before the same man and glanced back and forth with the desiring appearance on their faces to get a taste of what's in that ice cream container.

"Hey, mister~ Could we ask for one cone?"

The voice of the older boy, a fit for a seven year old, spoke so softly sounding to be convincing to the vendor and he even stretched out his feeble arm being bruised apparently and as if soaked in the mud that dried as a skin covering for his thin feature.

Next to him, a little girl stood stiffly, being held by his left hand and was far more malnourished as she appears with her current physique. She was short, of a fainter, dark complexion, clothed in that oversized shirt that seemed to have long been unwashed and was tattered invariably. She was also wearing a single slipper made from recycled bottles and straws of which the other pair has gone missing.

Pity for the state of these two children, Allesky could not just take her leave without any notice for them so she halted her pace putting on a plain expression upon adjusting her black eyewear and pulling out a bill of some value from the hidden pockets of her black leather jacket. She walked back to that ice cream stand and placed the bill on the container which caught the attention of the man who even had a second look at her.

"Two orders of these flavors on the large cones and one of this flavor on bread. Requesting to be quick, mister..." Was the direct statement of Allesky.

The man upon hearing her request, granted a slight smile before scooping out the order on two big cones and a bread.

Allesky pretended to have been looking so mindlessly around her when the boy lowered his arm and stepped apart from her dragging carefully his little sister as if instinctively isolating their presence from the young lady herself.

Noticing this action, Allesky got a better sight and keenness of her surroundings where it dawned on her that there was a clear distinction of classes and societal state in this place.

The clear distinction of those who fall on the lowest step of the societal class ladder and those of higher value and state. It was nothing new so as to surprise her because she had been much aware of this instance back in Armonia but she wasn't that prepared to have another kind of encounter of this kind of environment in this country just yet.

"Here as a traveller or an inhabitant, are you, Miss?" It was the kind remark of the man who finishes scooping the ice cream on cones and packing them neatly giving them to Allesky.

Allesky didn't bother a sweat to answer but only took the ice cream cones and turned to give those to the two children who were surely just waiting for their turn.

It was unexpected for her kindness that she received an unconvinced look from the young boy with the younger girl next to him in contrast with a beaming smile.

"Take them before they melt away. You wouldn't enjoy them if that happened..." Says Allesky revealing her eyes by slightly adjusting her black eyewear following it with a sweet smile that formed her cherry blossom lips and a charming wink that left a cute impression on the two kids.

Without any more hesitations, the boy received the treat and also her sister to whom Allesky left a message for them to be good kids onwards.

She took her own delicacy in that bread and left after receiving her change not having another moment to look back and proceeded to the bus stop to have her trip to the seaport where her sail would next be heading to the province.

On that trip by sea, Allesky recollected her encounter with those two children being reminded of her self back in her confinement in her father's dwelling place in Armonia.

It was way back when her father and mother last argued over a matter that wasn't even resolved. She, being the subject and the pure reason for that argument, was left bruised and sulking in a corner of their house with her tattered clothes and tears straining from her swollen eyes.

With this unwanted recollection, Allesky was once again enraged in her bitter agony about his father and the fang by which left its mark in her sole being having taken one important soul that was devoured by his father's wrath.

After an hour and a half more, Allesky sighted the island of her grandfather's province where her next ride was in a van until she finally had to stand in front of the mansion's gate.

It was big and utterly luxurious being enclosed with stone walls, painted with a modern pastel hue of aqua blue and pistachio tints. The gate was as tall as the stone wall fence that secured the vicinity of the mansion and its metal bars were coated in silver with the handles imprinted with solid letters, bold and golden, there were the letters A and O.

From the spaces of the bars of the silver gate, the young lady peeked through to get a glimpse of the mansion that stood there as if a relic of such a history of her earlier years having been of much refinement of its structures than what she could remember.

It's her late grandfather's mansion and none resides at the present except at times that it is being visited by the gardener who had long served the late owner himself so as he could continue to tend to the garden and its verdant plants and flowers. But, at the moment, there was no one to expect nor were there any voices that would have kindled a warm welcome for the young lady so she unlocked the silver gate hearing it to cause a sound of the squeaking iron against its post as she entered it carefully more like a stranger in another's house.

She strolled on the cobbled pathway going round the fountain before she set afoot on the entrance door of the mansion having been in sweet memoirs of the time brought past where she had been coming through in and out with the merriment of her mother holding her little arms along with the delightful company of her grandfather.

Coming back was never in her plans nor did she have it perceived beforehand as she was held as a captive in her father's care days before today. But after she received that handwritten letter a few weeks ago, this momentous reality that she finally stood on this same doorstep of her late grandfather's mansion kept all her worries sealed away.

Allesky found her refuge. Her true and final solace~

As she was still tending to her bittersweet emotions at the moment, there was this unexpected feature of a face that popped up to her line of sight, she being a person of whom she did not even in her dreams foreseen.

The untimely persona, surprised and panicked, mustered up her courage to greet Allesky with her stuttering voice out of her nervousness and opened the door to welcome her in with that plastered, inconsistent smile that more likely displayed her little to none of the professional manner that which her fixed uniform indicated.

"Ma- mademoiselle Allesky! Ah~ I- It's... Oh, I mean, welcome back and please co- come in..."

Fairly not impressed with the unexpected welcome, Allesky hesitated to raise any more interaction with the young maiden who only lowered her head when the young lady entered and went upstairs to fill in the vacancy of a certain room down the hall of the second floor and which was just parallel to the mansion's library room.

With the kind of response the young maiden received, she held in her disappointment reexamining her outfit from the frills of her maid uniform to the unfinished makeup she just put on and the ties of her hair that was half undone.

She was the daughter of the late Master's head maid who took the responsibility of taking her mother's place in order that she might recover from her bed of sickness.

And now, after being faced with the presence of the Great Master's granddaughter, she followed her through to escort Allesky to her designated room of the mansion, one that has been long unoccupied for a reason to be exposed at a later time.

Mission 02: "An Agent in the House"

Allesky glanced once in a while on the young maid who was looking so tense as they reached the room of the second floor.

She was clutching on her maid uniform showing that obvious nervousness on her face.

"I'll be fine on my own. I didn't need to be escorted up here in the first place..." She said and entered the room that was opened for her by the young maid and she laid her bag beside the bed taking off her black, leather jacket, her shoes and the primary accessories.

Allesky even noticed how the young maid was still there at the door looking at her with admiring eyes as if she was some sort of celebrity who had been spotted by a top fan.

"Ts~ Don't you have other chores to attend to?"

The young maid was deliberately taken out from her daydream and only willingly left the room closing the door to give Allesky her privacy she most wanted to have.

"I had the impression that she was kinda intimidating but what was that? She was more like a model, or more likely, a princess who had just gone out of her castle to showcase her unfathomable beauty~ Is she a goddess of some sort?? I didn't know that was the late Great Master's granddaughter. I'm so honored..." Was the uttering of the young maiden's mouth as she kept her pace in rhythm down the hallways and going back to her chores she had left off somewhere.

Meanwhile, Allesky scanned her room taking notice of the freshness of the whole setup of the interior design.

It was rather welcoming, bright, and ecstatic as if it was the mirror of her once perceived personal haven to retire from her tedious journey.

She drew nigh to the grooming desk swiping the tip of her fingers on the varnished surface that left not a speck of dust anywhere on her skin. Allesky thought how exemplary the cleaning was done in her room and how very much in order were her things and furniture in their arrangement.

The scent of the newly folded sheets and blanket cascaded an array of soothing aroma when she also opened the cabinets and, just along the drawers of it, Allesky saw the pair of gloves, small as they were being her favorite to wear some budding years ago.

The nostalgia of the eerie environment was sweet and refreshing having flooded back pleasant and wonderful memories of the days she spent in this mansion back in time. It was indeed where she had hoped to come back. Although it wasn't as what she could have expected to see now.

"You really prepared this for me, huh, grandpa?" Allesky shortly spoke with an endearing smile having the wind as her listener for its presence came in as a welcoming breeze from the window with arms of curtains that waved its pleasant hospitality.

Allesky parted the curtains that allowed the sunlight to cast its radiance inside the room that she gazed at the outside and the foreground of the mansion's expanse.

From what caught her view, a pool with a twin slide and beach chairs, a tennis lawn, and a small pavilion that would likely cater a romantic dance in the evening being ornamented with the flowering white angels and azaleas alongside it. Or rather, it would present a peaceful area for a friendly reunion and conversation while being served with drinks and pastry.

As some fragments of time passed that Allesky spent by that window, she remembered an important person that she had to share her connection with and to relay the success of her arrival at her grandfather's place.

She receded back in her bedroom and searched the pocket of her bag to slip out her phone from it then dialing a certain person whose contact number she had written on a piece of paper she kept in her wallet.

It was the person who had contacted her back when she was in Armonia and the one who mailed the letter of her grandfather to her. Her name is Kearthle Nightdale, an identity of no familiarity with Allesky rather than the self introduction she had testified of being a good friend to her late grandfather.

It was stated in the letter that Allesky has to inform this person once she arrives safely in the mansion and therefore be more acquainted later on.

"Hello, it's Kearthle speaking. And who might this be? Wait. Is this Miss Allesky Zerclair?" Was the answer of the feminine voice upon picking up the call, who, being particular of Allesky to be the one behind the unknown caller confirmed the identity of the young lady.

"Yes. It's Allesky Zerclaire calling. I have arrived at my grandfather's mansion just now and I intended to let you know as per your instructions." Was the reply of Allesky putting the phone to her other ear with the adjustment of her intonations. "Is there anything else that I have to know now that I'm here? Oh, and can we meet in person? I have been wanting to be able to talk to you face to face after I returned here. It would be very reassuring if we would."

Kearthle's short chuckle was heard resounding that Allesky deemed it to have been a way of acknowledging her request.

"It has been long planned that we would meet after all so we definitely would. And the sooner, the better, right? I'll come by your grandfather's house tomorrow in the morning. Until then, save the details of your interrogations. I am well aware you have them all. I've been told by your grandpa."

Allesky had a moment of silence on the mention of her grandfather as there was a part of her that left a bit of jealousy. She was curious as to what exactly made this person, Kearthle Nightdale, to be so acquainted to her grandfather that she even received instructions about Allesky's possible actions and intentions during her return. It was right that Nightdale spoke of her having questions to ask of and she was further convinced to get some clear answers when the two of them would finally meet.

"So, Miss Sky. It won't be a problem to call you that, would it?" Said Kearthle with a sound of familiarity that foreshadowed an intention to befriend the young lady herself.

"I don't see anything wrong with that..." Allesky replied walking back to the window and stood there overseeing the gate from her peripheral view with her phone still held over her ear.

There was this short, suppressed squeal from the other line before Allesky made mention of what exact time will Kearthle come the next day.

"You won't have anything to do tomorrow? I can come in the morning. And please do mind that it won't be just a visit. By the way, Miss Sky, please call me Kearth from now on."

There was a trace of merriment in the sound of Kearthle's voice and the gentleness of it had lessened any doubts that Allesky kept in herself. Yet she made to remind herself that there was still no absolute certainty of whether she has to fully trust this person, Kearthle Nightdale, on the account of her grandfather's sake.

"I'll get used to dropping formalities overtime. No need to rush to be familiar with each other, right?" Allesky replied taking a breath of the air that had once again entered the room from the window.

"Yeah. Yeah. No need to rush, Miss Sky... I am just honestly overjoyed to know you're back in Elcielo. And of course, to be able to meet you so as to make concrete my impressions about you. It had long been my curiosity. The fact that you are the Great Master's granddaughter, the respected Sir Aero Rochester. Welcome back home, Sky." Kearthle enunciated with the very clean emphasis on her last sentence that left Allesky on the grasp of her very hand as if, by chance, had she heard of another's voice rather than the person she was talking to behind the line of the call.

"Uhm~ Miss Sky, is everything alright?" Recounted the voice from the call after which Allesky had been silent for a recurring time and she sensed that something might have occurred. "It was strangely a long pause of silence back there. If it's not a matter to worry about, then I presume we should end this call if our intention is found mutual. Thank you for calling me upon arriving. I pray you find your new dwelling a delight. Til then, let's meet and greet again tomorrow."

Allesky shook her head to cast off her untimely oblivion of what she saw was a recurrent of a past event that was sealed in the remnants of her childhood memory.

"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow when you come by. And if you won't mind, please save this contact information of mine on yours. I'll do the same at my end."

"Oh, wow! Really, seriously? Will do then. I definitely would. Thank you~ And bye now~"

"Yeah. Bye~"

There was an emblem of a vague demeanor of joy that bewitched the once sullen and pensive countenance of the young lady after which she had lowered her arm along with her phone. She, being used in the familiar atmosphere of reproach from her father, had now crept out of that deceitful grimace that kept her unaware of her opportunity to find favor of someone else's company. Nonetheless, it was her unspeakable desire to have a more honest and decent conversation that the short exchange from partly a stranger endeared her promptly as if it were her mutual discourse and the identity of the person someone as close by heart to her from a long time ago.

Allesky retired to her bed when the phone call was over and she admitted herself to simple chores in the mansion so as to regain her sense of reality that she was indeed in a new environment and would now be impalpable from the direct trace of her father.

The next morning, she awoke with a juvenile deportment having sought after the young maiden that served as her attendant since the preceding day but perchance did Allesky found the reason of her descent on the cascading wooden stairs nor was there any shadow of her presence.

Yet there was one with the bearing of a new face and a new countenance did the unwelcome visitor stand up from his recline on the stuffy cushions in the living room that were, as intended to be a seat for rest or waiting, supposedly had been in his temperament to stay still until Allesky had gone down to meet his personage.

It took a significant moment or so that Allesky alarmed herself of the sudden visitor whom she wouldn't even consider such as her real visitor unless he be Kearthle herself.

"Who the heck are you?" It was the sole reverberating language that escaped her small lips with the tip of her fingers in unforeseen stress on the handle that arched the side of the stairway.

"I've come to escort you to the agency..." The calm response of the man appearing in a plain, black suit with that mysterious black mask that covered half of his face revealing only the undertone of his mouth and chin.

Those ominous, sea-colored orbs were translucent behind the eyehole of that black mask peeking deeply into one's soul.

Allesky, driven by her defensive consciousness, held in a quick stance of action the nearest elephant figurine her own two hands could grasp within her reach and guarded herself haphazardly in a constant, meticulous taunting of her eyes to that stranger, the one man that stood in the living room.

"I am Agent Nickel but you could call me Nick~ A pleasure to meet you with apologies for the sudden and unwelcome intrusion..." Declares the man of whom Allesky's undivided attention was directed to at the moment and caused her not to even let go of a single careless moment that would offer an opportunity for the man to strike at her as she suspected to happen likewise.

"Whoever you are. I demand you to stay right there and I'll be calling the police~" Was the warning that was rather sarcastic in declaration as it came like a pun of some kind to the unnamed man's ear.

Nonetheless, Allesky searched the pockets of her pajamas until she had secured the touch on her phone while still showing off her fierce expression in pretending to be more threatening than the very presence of the man himself.

In that period of time, the mysterious man raised his steadiness and made his move to attack Allesky aiming for her hand that held her phone so as to take it from her by hook or by crook.

In no further intention, Allesky was readily quirkier to avoid that arm of the man and she even had the instinctive dominance to inflict a hit on that target with the elephant figurine after she had closed their distance leaving the man down on his knees in a short while with the aftermath of pain.

Allesky took this opportunity to flee from the man and her running had led her to enter the kitchen where she was then halted upon the sight of the young maiden she originally was looking for.

The young maid was unconscious leaning on the refrigerator with her arms and legs loosely drawn on the floor as if she was introduced to some hypnotics or some sort. There was none other to have done it to her but the man that Allesky encountered in the living room that gave it a more compelling reason for Allesky to be aware of the danger imposed off by the stranger.

Before Allesky could even take a step once more closer to the unconscious young maid, her whole system chilled along with the sudden tremor of her hand. It was due to a swift passing of a bullet that whispered in her ear when it was shot millimeters away from her ear and went through the refrigerator that was before her.

"You dodged it. But that's not much of a surprise." Said the man reloading the gun he had just used allowing the trembling lady in front of her to turn her head in his direction.

She clenched her fist in a sense of inferiority but she rather chose to not expose her feign disadvantage and the fact that she is starting to be enveloped in a horrid fear of losing her dear life by the hands of a man she doesn't even know of.

Agent Nickel - 21

Mission 03: "Entry to the Agency"

Allesky took hold of the nearest knife she could grab and intentionally threw it to the masked guy but it was deflected so smoothly before the guy managed to catch the knife with his hand. He even played it in circles with his fingers not shifting his directive gaze towards Allesky.

Heart pounding in a state of fear along with the trembling of her body, Allesky has no opening to escape that she could only step aback being reminded that the young maid was still lying behind her.

The masked guy flicked a marble shooting it to Allesky and it penetrated into the refrigerator the moment Allesky dodged it swiftly after it was shot.

It also multiplied the anxiety in Allesky's mind when she rolled her eyes to see the marble just above the young maid's right shoulder where it was holed in the refrigerator.

"You have to come with me whether you like it or not, Miss~" Was the remark of the unnamed intruder and he shot off the knife aiming at the young lady before him.

In a blink of an eye, Allesky froze in place when she saw her hand in front of her face holding the blade of the knife as if she just easily caught it mid air.

The sudden action and impulse made her realize that there was something strange about her already and she could explain it not.

Meanwhile, the guy of no known identity standing before her traced a visible smile on his face not verily comfortable for Allesky to see.

"Can't you realize it yet? You're beyond your normal abilities. It's because we've detected you're positive. And specifically, the only one~" This guy spoke once more with his words even more confusing for Allesky to comprehend leading to her brows furrowing together.

"You've ingested a portion of the Zero Tonic from the ice cream you bought yesterday, Young Miss. Interestingly, you were positive with all your vitals and abilities enhanced and improved since last night." Added he, speaking with all the calmness of his voice as if he sounded so gently.

"Wait. Whatever are you talking about?" Was the response of the confused Allesky who could not keep herself calm.

"Hm. Again I am Agent Nickel but you could call me Nick. I need you to come with me whether you like it or not. Or I'll have to reveal your whereabouts to your father, Mister Quantum Zerclaire. We have gathered all relevant information about you. There's nothing to hide. So you would either come with me peacefully or suffer the consequences..."

It was as if her world darkened with the flashbacks of her bad memories in the care of her father that Allesky bit a portion of her lower lip letting go of the knife at the same time as it slipped out of her fingers falling down to the floor.

"Nick, Huh? Where will you take me?"

That mischievous smile retraced its curve on the masked guy's face before he escorted Allesky out of the mansion having her willfully surrendering herself to be brought to whatever agency he was mentioning about.

-//-

"Chill, will you? It's not like I'm kidnapping you~" Nickel can be heard to have spoken while driving the car looking at the reflection of the young lady from the front mirror sitting at the back seat.

Allesky's gaze was full of tension looking rather doubtful than calm. Her arms were crossed over her chest in the same way were her legs one over the other. She never redirected her sight but only up front right where she could have her fixed and steady gaze at Nickel who only took a deep breath continuing on driving.

"Ksh~ Isn't this kidnapping enough?" Allesky retorted with her brow raising an inch that eventually ignited a light chuckle from Nickel which changed the atmosphere hovering between the two.

"This is just my mission. Don't take it personally... And we're finally here~"

The car they were riding in proceeded through a tunnel whose interior was dark enough to not see anything. Then all of a sudden, a line of bright lights from the road lighted up as if tracing a runway in an airport but at this point is more of a tunnel version.

This radiant display caught Allesky's attention for a matter of seconds as the sight was nothing like she had seen anywhere before. She immersed herself in the somewhat blinding lights on the road as they were moving on along until they managed to reach the exit of the tunnel from far ahead.

Right then, another strange display was introduced to Allesky upon seeing the path that they were driving on to be a pathway made of a long glass resembling a big pipe afloat in the air with golden rings segmenting it along the way. The whole structure gave off a vibe of a portal pathway to another dimension as it was somewhat beyond what Allesky's imagination could have pondered long ago and that which she only deemed possible in the movies she has seen.

It was unexplainable, mysterious, and awe-inspiring. It is one that could only exist in the television plays Allesky knew about but is now already right in front of her very own eyes.

"Ah~ Wait~ Where exactly are you taking me??" Allesky asked from her seat with her tone in apprehension the moment she realized her situation.

From the glass pipe pathway afloat in the sky, she looked down below and she could already see the houses, buildings, and roads as the car continued to maneuver its way until the other end of the glass pipe pathway that meets a blinding light upon entry through it.

At first it was blinding which forced Allesky to close her eyes against her will.

With the attempt to open them again after some while, her wonder increased that she subconsciously drew her face near the window of the car to behold the sight outside.

"What the-"

The car parked along with the other cars parking in the vicinity and the design and structure matched with all of them. It became a newly designed car as if it had transformed into one that is cooler and way better than normal ones.

"The car just now~ It's different! Who exactly are you?" Allesky could only ask in wonder as she pondered what exactly happened a second ago right when they entered the exit of the glass pipe pathway.

Nickel opened the door of the driver seat's part and went out that Allesky quickly followed after him and confronted him firsthand. She was filled with questions with her eyes painted in total confusion while glancing back and forth to the car.

"Ah~ This transformation? It's the agent thing, you know. We can't let the public see these cars in their true form so they camouflage as normal cars when in public. But if it's here in the agency's vicinity or in specific missions, this is the original design and look of the agency's cars. Love it??" Nickel replied with his somewhat calm demeanor and he even fixed his hair a bit seeing his reflections from the side mirror of the car.

Allesky only raised an eyebrow as her reaction. She still hasn't fully comprehended just what is this place in which she was brought into and whoever this Nickel is as well as what's with all the agency things he speaks about.

Beyond her questioning state, she was forced not to utter even a single word when Nickel suddenly placed his index finger over her lip causing her to stand in silence.

Nickel then retreated his finger and bade her, "Follow me."

"Hey, you!"

Nickel did not bother the shout that Allesky reverberated at him. With that, the young lady remained silent afterwards and chose to follow after him keeping her series of questions to herself.

The two have not yet gone further from the car when Nickel used his whole palm this time to cover Allesky's mouth and dragged her to hide behind the parked cars.

"Shh~ There's something odd around here~" Whispered Nickel with his observant eyes roaming around them and he gestured for Allesky to follow after him quietly and keenly towards a door.

Allesky rolled her eyes around finally figuring out what Nickel meant about the odd thing regarding the place even without her hearing anything more from the male agent.

"It's so quiet that it's deafening~ This is not right..." Nickel uttered softly still keeping his careful pace before pulling Allesky by the hand since she was starting to lag behind.

At that moment, there was this electric-like wave energy that sparked in Allesky's head along with the certainty of this presence of a threat from somewhere near them. This sensation triggered Allesky's greater consciousness and a higher level of alertness to her surroundings.

"A dangerous feeling or a threat? There's two of them..." Allesky subconsciously spoke out in a serious tone with Nickel shifting his attention and line of sight to her.

Nickel led Allesky to hide at a nearby post instructing her not to go anywhere and just remain hidden there before he left.

A while later when Allesky heard these clashing sounds. The sound of metals clashing against each other followed by this sound of a deafening system alarm.

The young lady dropped to her knees with her hands covering her ears right before she felt someone's presence coming towards where she is hiding at the moment.

In a blink of an eye, Allesky moved in a quick manner as if her reflexes had taken control of her body. She shoved the unidentified individual and dodged the attack in which she was almost caught by the collar.

Her instant action caused her to reveal herself and come out of hiding where she stood there and faced the unknown opponent.

It was a person with this costume closely resembling that of which is Black Panther except that it wasn't black but silver and the left eye was left unmasked revealing the person's sapphire-hued irises whose sight was fixated only upon Allesky herself.

There was something strange about the person although there was nothing that Allesky could better do but to position herself according to her instincts that caused her to be on defense. After which he sought for Nickel's whereabouts but he was nowhere to be seen nor spotted around her.

The unknown individual clicked a button on the left arm of its costume causing a coin to come out of it.

The coin was tossed in the air and, right at the moment it was caught by the hand, it stretched to a seven-feet long pole and was swirled by the mysterious masked persona.

Seeing it happen left Allesky in wonder with even her eyebrows raised that she could not help but ponder upon how it so happened. Her awareness only returned to her when her instincts alarmed her once more of its discernment for an attack.

With that, the masked persona used the pole and swirled it to attack. Allesky was agile enough to dodge smoothly as if she had the precognition of the way her attacker will move against her. She was indeed able to predict her opponent's every move but her physical body could not keep up with her sharp and strong movement of dodging and deflecting. This drained her energy and strength and gradually slowed her down a few minutes passed.

It was not until she was cornered between two parked cars and a wall behind her that she was inclined to refrain from her exhausting movements allowing her opponent to relax a bit and drew closer to her this time.

The masked persona took each step carefully towards Allesky creating a noise by hitting the other end of the pole of the ground. It was a sound like a threatening signal counting down to when Allesky would be attacked any moment now.

Seeing this, Allesky could only bite a portion of her lower lip along with the tightening of her fists on her sides.

In a short moment, she saw a scene. It was the second her opponent took the initiative to attack her already playing in her mind as if a premonition of what is to happen allowing Allesky to expect how to dodge it and counterattack.

When it really happened, Allesky dodged the way she saw it in her mind and she grasped the pole with her hand pulling it towards her to make the distance closer between them. Afterwards, Allesky used her elbow to attack the masked persona from behind the back with another attack that knocked down her opponent.

The pole shrunk back to a coin the moment the masked persona was down on the floor and Allesky stepped back being still wary of her surroundings.

Then there was another alert from Allesky's senses coming from behind her but she failed to dodge this time around. She received a strong force of a kick from her side that she flew right off where she stood after she felt it. She ended up hitting her back against a parked car that not only inflicted her pain but also took her strength. The pain of it stirred up her consciousness she could barely open her eyes.

There was no one around her nor in front of her but there was something strange in her state of vision. She saw this haughty image of a person that took her back to a memory when she tried using 3D glasses for the first time in a game center.

Before her stood a person in red figure as if she was viewing something from an AI computer and the mysterious person walked closer towards her.

She then figured out that it was a girl.

It even so happen that Allesky's vision glitches overtime causing the image of the person to disappear at some point as well. It dawned on her that she is actually facing an invisible person at the moment and this strange, mysterious ability only allows her to at least get a glimpse of the girl before her.

The image of the girl pointed her finger to Allesky gesturing a hand gun right before a streak of light that of an electricity paralyzed Allesky like that of a taser.

By then, Allesky lost total consciousness before the invisible girl revealed herself without being invisible anymore before she narrowed her unsatisfied look on her face at the unconscious young lady who already fell to the floor.
