The darkness of the night is clear when the moon shines in the sky and the night is dark. In the soft light, the surroundings are vaguely visible. Mart had just finished his studies and stood up. The books on the table were arranged on the shelf. Exams are close, much reading is still to be done. Suddenly heard a hard thing falling from the up. He went to the window and saw a shadow. It's Hans. Hans called Mart, "Mart we are going, Why aren't you ready yet?" Mart asked, "Where?" "What do you mean by where? Didn't you say you want to come with us for a venture to the royal house tonight? We are going. Coming or not?" Always impatient Hans was just trying to get away. "Exams are nearing, I can't be wasting my time with you guys. Don't disturb me now. I've got to go to school tomorrow." Hans got angry and left. After taking the big turn he met with Harry. Harry asked, "Mart's not coming?" "Good boy is sleeping for exams, can't mix with us bad boys." Harry said, "I told you he won't come." "Like hell, I care. He wanted to go I asked he refused. Matter finished. Let's go. Ben and Isaac might be waiting." after reaching the destination, Isaac said," Ay Hans, Why are you late?" "Went to ask Mart but he didn't come." Ben said, "Mart is a coward. Someone like him can't be as daring as us."

They came to the northwest corner of the boundary wall and climbed up the wall one by one. High boundary wall made of very old red brick. Not sparkling clean. Moss is gathering, weeds somewhere have grown. But the brick did not fall. It is easy to guess how strong it is. Big teak, mahogany, and myrobalan trees are near the boundary wall. Under these trees, thick long grass of the forest like. There is no need to jump up and down the wall everywhere.

It can be easily climbed down by the branches of the big trees next to it. Inside the area of the house, there is a garden of various fruits starting from mango, and jackfruit. Pond in the middle of the garden. On the southern side of the pond is the old royal house. The main gate of the house is on the south side of the house. Hospital Road is in that direction. On the south side of the wall, another road leads to the post office. On the north side is the vast space of the Nawab Mosque.

There is no other house full of trees with such a large area in the city. Pay close attention, if not, it will look like a few houses here. The whole area of the house cannot be estimated because of the high walls.

The house's owner, Walt Hawk, lives abroad with his family. His forefather was Wilson Hawk.

A caretaker takes care of the house. He is very good at it. People covet Mr. Walt's trees full of fruits. But they can enter because of the high walls and the fear of snakes.

 Today Hans and his group are going to steal some coconut from here. It's not their first time. It happened before and they even got caught many times. Isaac chose two trees. Hans and Ben took a sharp knife each and climbed the tree like monkeys. They cut the coconut and then let one side of the rope down and the other part of the rope was tied to the branch by tying the coconut nut. The caretaker might be alert when hearing the sound of a falling coconut. Then Hans cut them with his expert hand and they drink the coconut juice. Harry exclaims, "What a nice weather. Perfect for traveling. " Hans says," That's what I'm talking about too. Let's go to Panihata Lake for sightseeing." Isaac says, "Then make a plan and call us. We are always ready." Hans says," Don't ditch me like last time." Ben says, "That was then now is now." Hans says, "Okay then. I will make a one-day plan. Let's go on this Friday." Everyone nods their head in agreement. Hans stopped talking changed the subject and said, 'How long will I sit on the bank of the pond? Before the Panihata Lake, I will see how the water of the royal house's pond looks in the moonlight.

He stood up.

Walking through long grass Harry said, 'There are ghosts in the silk cotton trees on the banks of the pond. On the night of the new moon, he sits on a tree and cries. Eats fish from the pond. How many more stories have I heard!'

Hans said lightly, "Then let's meet the ghost."

Harry said again, 'Aren't you afraid?'

 “No. If there is a ghost, it will be seen today. I will also see the ghost.”

Again he said in a light voice, 'These things are made up. Is there something called a ghost or not?

"I don't know," said Isaac. I have no interest in ghosts. What if there are ghosts, what if there are not?'

The stairway is on the southern bank of the pond. Going there won’t do any good. Home Caretaker

While walking, Hans looked at the jackfruit trees on the west bank of the pond and said, "It is necessary to see whether the jackfruits are ripe or not."

"When I come tomorrow, you can eat. If John doesn't take them away.' said Harry.

"That's the thing to worry about," said Hans. ‘This is a matter of concern.’ said Hans. “He keeps a keen eye on the garden. He will not let someone else take a fruit. Well, John cannot be scared? So that he does not want to leave the house at night. Then we can do our work smoothly.”

'Afraid of what?' Harry asked.

Ghosts were being talked about a while ago. He said, "Fear of ghosts."
