My Beloved Stranger
Introduction
Hello Everyone, This is my first Chat story. I don't know much about writing a story but I'm doing so because I want to learn and experience many things in my life and writing is one of them.
This is a story that randomly popped into my head one day and I had this feeling to just write it out for you guys let me know if you like it.
And please forgive me for my grammatical mistakes....as I told you I'm still learning

Without further wait let's start with the Introduction
Name: SARA ADAMS
Presently Working in Star Corp.
and also our Main Character of the story. She is very Strong willed person as she have always been alone after her Parents death in a car accident when she was just 4 years old. She has Brown Hair and Blue eyes.
Name: Jack Matthews
And of course he is our Male lead. Currently Working as the Team Leader of Star Corp. Has Black hair and brown Eyes. He is one and only son of none other than Nick and Lima Matthews who are the owners of Star Corp. (This is a secret no one knows about this)
Name: Nancy Collen
She is our Female lead's Best friend of 12 years. She is a very Caring and lovely person. She loves Sara and shares each and every secret with her. She has Black hair and Brown eyes. She owns a Cozy cafe named 'Brew Haven'. It is very famous among many college students and Employees around the town.
Name: William Swan
He is our Male Lead's Best friend since they were born. They went to the same elementary and High School. Right now he is working in Star Corp as Our ML Assistant (also knows about our ML secret). He has White Hair and Brown Eyes
I Guess I've introduced almost everyone. Before further due let's start our story.
Bad News
Sara stared at the test results, her hands trembling. Cancer. The word echoed in her mind, a grim sentinel of her newfound mortality. As the initial shock faded, she felt an overwhelming urge to escape reality.
Sara
Doctor how much time do I have?
Doctor
I'm Really sorry Sara but you only have 3 months to live.
Sara
*haha, just 3 months and here i thought I had my whole life to enjoy everything I want to do*
Sara
*No no this is not how my life is going to end*
Making her mind she stood up.
Doctor
Please Take care of yourself Sara. Don't take any kind of stress.
Sara
How much worse can it get than it already is. Anyways, I'll be there for next week's Appointment.Thank you.
Standing Outside the Hospital, Unable to stop her tears anymore. Sara Started crying. She didn't know what to do with herself. She took out her phone and called the only person who could understand her without her saying a word.
Nancy Collen
Hello? Sara? What's up?
Nancy Collen
Oh my God! Sara? Are you crying?
Sara
*Sobbing* I-I don't know what to do and where to go anymore.
Nancy Collen
Gosh! Where are you right now?
After deciding to meet Nancy soon. Sara started walking.
That night, Sara found herself at a dimly lit bar, waiting for Nancy she was downing drink after drink. The world began to blur around her edges, her worries momentarily dulled by alcohol.
Sara
What a joke, My life is going to end in three months and I'm here wasting my time drinking th-this....
Before she could complete her sentence. Someone called out to her.
"Is this seat taken?" a deep voice asked. Sara looked up to see a tall, handsome stranger with kind eyes. She shook her head, and he sat down.
He said, offering a gentle smile.
She replied, her voice slightly slurred.
Sara
And I just found out I'm dying.
The rest of the night became a haze of conversation, laughter, and more drinks. Sara found herself opening up to Jake, sharing her fears and regrets. He listened intently, offering comfort and understanding.
The next morning, Sara awoke with a pounding headache. As her eyes adjusted to the light, she realized she wasn't in her own bed. Panic set in as she noticed a man sleeping beside her - Jake from the bar.
Fragments of the previous night flashed through her mind, but much of it remained a blur.
Sara
*This is not how I imagined my life without any regrets*
Sara
*I should leave before it can get anymore embarrassing*
As she tried to stand up. She immediately fell down due to exhaustion. Afterall Last night was something she had never imagined her doing in her Wildest dreams.
She stood up somehow and searched for her phone. 32+ missed calls from Nancy.
Sara
*God she is going to kill me*
Sara quietly gathered her things and slipped out of the apartment.
As she walked home in the crisp morning air, Sara felt a mix of emotions - embarrassment, confusion, and a lingering sense of connection to the stranger who had shown her kindness in her darkest moment.
Soon she was standing Outside her apartment.
Nancy jumped out of her kitchen.

WHERE DID YOU GO YESTERDAY?

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WORRIED I WAS YESTERDAY

I WAS ABOUT TO CALL 911 IF YOU DIDN'T SHOW UP JUST NOW.
Sara
Please calm down, Hear me out first.
They both settled down on her sofa. Nancy brought out two cups of Coffee for her and Sara.
Nancy Collen
Why were you crying yesterday? I-I thought something bad happened to you....Someone kidnapped you or something.
Nancy Collen
Please don't do this ever *Sobs* You don't even know how worried I was.
As Nancy started crying Sara realised how important she is for her friend who is always with her, who supports her when she needs her the most.
Sara
*I can't tell her about the results*
Sara
*I can't otherwise she'll be heartbroken*
Sara couldn't stop her tears anymore and started crying while hugging Nancy.
Sara
I'll never do this again.
Nancy Collen
You better not.
Nancy Collen
But you still didn't tell me why were you crying yesterday?
Nancy Collen
And where were you last night.
Sara then told her about how she met the guy in the bar and ended up having a one night stand with him.
Nancy Collen
Gosh Sara I never knew you could be so careless. And was he handsome? Did you guys do it?
Nancy Collen
Oooo.....You guys really did it. What was his name again?
Nancy Collen
Hmm....Jack? what was his last name?
Sara
Uh.....i don't know and I didn't ask
Nancy Collen
Don't tell me you don't even have his number? You do right?
Nancy Collen

But I was drunk and crying I don't even know what I did yesterday.
Nancy Collen
Right you were crying yesterday. Why?
Sara
Well.....I had a tough day at work that's why I called you to have a drink and yo-you were late!
Sara
*I can't tell her about this now, not now*
Nancy Collen
But you sounded so heartbroken that day....I thought something bad happened to you. Gosh I was so worried. When I went to the bar, you were nowhere to be seen. I even called you didn't pick up.
Sara
I'm sorry Nancy. Forgive me this time.
Nancy Collen
Gosh fine.....
The Second Encounter
Sara stayed at home with Nancy and watched many movies and series. Sara decided to stay at home for a week and decide what to do.
She ended up writing a to-do list
More like a bucket list, full of what she wanted to do.
Nancy Collen
Hmm.....so you want to do all of this?
Nancy Collen
Within three months?
Reading the list Nancy asked
Sara
Yes, I'll go to work tomorrow and ask for three months of vacation. After all I didn't work for nothing. I have a bunch of savings which I'll be spending on this trip. We'll be going to Bali next week.
Nancy Collen
It's embarrassing that you're even asking.
Nancy Collen
If it's you then of course I'm coming.
Nancy had a tough childhood. Her mom always abused her since her dad left her. She was a good for nothing child for her mother.
Going through all of these in her High school. She met Sara and they never separated after that. She loved Sara like her own sister. She was her everything. As she was for Sara.
Finally, after a lot of time struggling Nancy finally became independent. She opened her own Cafe. And separated from her Mother.
Sara
You know that I love you right?
Nancy Collen
Hihi, I love you too.
A week later, Sara dragged herself to work, determined to maintain some normalcy despite her diagnosis. As she entered the office, there was a palpable buzz of excitement.
Gina (Co worker)
Gosh Sara. Did you hear about the new team leader?
Sara shook her head, disinterested. And began working for her upcoming conference.
Sara
*This would be the last day I'm working here anyways, I should give my best*
Upset she again recalled the events that have occurred during her last week.
Suddenly a voice rang in the conference room.
She looked up and found a man painfully similar.
Her heart nearly stopped. Standing at the front of the room, looking professional and composed, was Jake.
Their eyes met, and Sara saw recognition flash across his face. She felt her cheeks burn with embarrassment and confusion.
"Good morning, everyone," Jake said, his voice steady. "I'm Jake Matthews, your new team leader."
Throughout the meeting, Sara couldn't focus. Her mind raced with questions and memories of that night. As the team filed out, Jake called out, "Sara, could you stay back a moment?"

Sara, could you stay back a moment?
Soon everyone left the room.

William, what are you doing here?
William Swan
Well for your kind information I was right here in the conference room while the meeting was going on.

Hi, It's nice to finally meet you.

Jake was talking about you the whole week. Gosh my Ears are in pain.
Sara was blushing like a tomato.
Sara
Hello, I'm Sara Adams, I work in the-
William Swan
Oh god you don't have to be so formal.
William Swan
Although I'm Jack's Assistant, we have been friends our whole lives.
William Swan
So please don't be so formal. I'm happy my brother really got a girl, finally he won't bother me any-
Jack Matthews
Enough William you've already said enough.
William Swan
Alright Alright, I'll leave you two alone.
Sara was processing what she heard just now when Jack started talking.
Jack Matthews
I'm sorry about him. He has always been like that.
Sara
I-I don't mind. Really.
With trepidation, Sara approached him.
Sara
I wanted to meet you again.
Sara
"I... I'm sorry about leaving like that," she stammered.
Jake's expression softened.
Jack Matthews
I understand. It was an intense night. But Sara, I meant what I said about being here if you need support. How are you doing?
Hearing his care about her. Her heart filled with happiness and a feeling which was strange to her and yet to discover what it really is.
Sara
I'm doing fine so far.
Jack Matthews
That's good to hear. If you don't mind how about I take you out for a meal tonight?
As he said those words Sara thought to herself what good can it do for her if she goes out with Jack tonight.
Sara
*It'll just give him fake hopes about a future which will never be able to come*
Jack Matthews
Just for your info. I just want to have a normal talk. I promise I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable.
Hearing him say that, Sara felt a sudden urge of courage in herself.
Sara
*Right, I did say I will do whatever that makes me happy*
Sara
*And Jack, he does make me happy*
Sara
Well I'd love to go out with you.
Jack smiled which felt so genuine and Beautiful to Sara that it gave her butterflies.
Jack Matthews
How about dinner tonight? I know a great little Italian place not far from here.
Sara nodded, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. As the workday came to an end, they left the office together, stealing glances at each other as they walked to the restaurant.
