The story take place at a country know as Nexara,a country ruled by a powerful king that excelled in magic and famous for him strategic thinking.

One day,in the Arcadia Academy,an introvert black haired kid and turquoise eye and wearing Arcadia Academy uniform,fill with magic power and high tech.Arcadia Academy is the number one school in Nexara.

All the new kid is gathered at a really big hall,as they giving out rule.After that,all the kid is separated into different class.Arata,being such a smart boy,even managed to get full marked at the entrance exam sit at a 1A class,but still,he's not the sharpest knife in the shed.

The class start of with a magic class,the teacher introduce himself,Teacher Haruka Tsukiyomi.All the kid call him Teacher Haru.Teacher Haru start by showing the five basic elements of magic.There is some people that can't use any of the basic magic,but that will not be a problem.

The five basic magic were fire,water,wind, earth and lighting.Our boy,Arata, cannot use any of it,but he can use one of the 'descendents' of the water magic,which is ice magic.Ice is known for it's hard control,but have great offensive and defensive.Teacher Haru asked all of them to shoot the special high-tech robot that's controlled by Teacher Haru with his magic.The robot will receive the damage and show how powerful the attack.

One of the top kid start with his 5 basic at once,being cocky as he can use all five of them.After that,comes another kid that always look at Arata staring like he wants to kill him.He's let's out a powerful attack that almost destroy the robot,but the robot immediately get fixed automatically by Teacher Haru magic.Arata is the last one,and after he froze the robot, Teacher Haru's magic is somehow cancelled immediately.Everyone thinks that it's just a coincidence..or is it?

After that,the everyone back to class(the practice is done at a practice field).The next teacher shows up,his name were Professor Renjiro Takamura.They called him by the name Prof Ren.The teacher is specialize at making and using crazy weapons associates with magic such as a big sword that can infused with the wielder magic and a gun that can shoot bullets with magic that set up by the shooter.Prof Ren said that each student will given one weapon that suited them the best,the weapon will used in many class,event, tournament and even in a real war.The given weapon will automatically infused with the user magic and cannot be used by others.There will be a selection of weapon,they can choose what weapon suited the best.Someone who can use basic magic can find they suitable weapon easily.Others that cannot use magic or cannot use basic magic will have a little rough time founding one.What will happen to Arata?Will he ever found his desired weapon that suited the best?
