Aisha Crest was a 16 year old high school student, she was rushing to school because her friend, Kate, was there waiting for her. When she arrived she saw Kate waiting for her beside the gates.

"Hey Aisha! Beautiful rainy day today."

"Yes, good morning Kate."

"Did you finish your assignment?"

"Yes I did."

They walked together inside, as they arrive in the hallway they saw Aisha's boyfriend, James, waiting for them.

"Good morning James."

"Mmh..."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah..."

As they started to walk to class Aisha's felt the atmosphere change between her and her boyfriend.

As they arrive in their classroom James went to his seat without saying a word.

"Aisha, did you guys have a fight?"

"No Kate... maybe he's just having a bad day..."

"Uhuh..."

Later that day, Aisha and and Kate were walking to the library when they saw James talking to Belle, the head cheerleader of the school.

"Hey Aisha, ain't that your boyfriend. He seemed to be talking to Belle over there."

"Yeah..."

"They seem pretty close."

"T-they are just friends."

"Yeah. Just friends."

In the afternoon it started to rain hard and Aisha remembered that she let her teacher borrow her umbrella but she forgot to take it back.

"It's raining pretty hard now, I forgot to take my umbrella back from our teacher..."

Aisha then remembered that James has an umbrella, but when she went to James to ask him she saw him share his umbrella with Belle and Aisha felt her chest ache. She whispered to herself.

"James... are you really just friends?"

Aisha went to her locker and left all of her things before running in the rain.

When Aisha reached the park she suddenly bumped into Kate's brother, Alex.

"Aisha? Why are you running in the rain?"

"The teacher borrowed my umbrella and I forgot to take it back."

"Okay, but where is James?"

"He... he went home with Belle.."

"That jerk..."

"What was that?"

"Nothing. Anyway,you're really wet, come let's go to my dorm I think I have some spare clothes there."

"okay."

Aisha went with Alex, when they arrive in Alex's dorm he gave Aisha's spare clothes and told her to take a shower first.

While Aisha was taking a shower Alex called his sister.

"Hey Alex, what's up?"

"Can you come over to my dorm, sis?"

"No sorry, why is that? Is something wrong?"

"Aisha is here. I invited her over because she was really wet because of the rain."

"Oh... I'll come over tomorrow."

"Okay."

Kate hung up and Alex went to the kitchen to cook food. After taking a shower Aisha went to the kitchen, there she saw Alex waiting for her.

"Come sit here, let's eat."

"Yes."

After eating Aisha helped Alex clean up, after that, Alex told Aisha to sleep on his bed while he went to sleep on the couch.

Hours passed and Aisha couldn't sleep, she went to Alex and asked him if he was awake.

"Alex... Alex, are you awake?"

"What is it?"

"I can't sleep... can I put my mattress next to you?"

Alex agreed and Aisha puts the mattress beside the couch and went to sleep.

The next day, it was still raining, Alex woke up early and checked on Aisha, she seemed to have gotten a fever from the rain.

Alex got up to cook food, after cooking he carried Aisha to his room and puts her on his bed then puts a towel on her forehead, he looked at her feeling worried.

"You wouldn't be like this if that jerk didn't go with another girl..."

Alex went back to the kitchen to fetch Aisha's soup, and he gently woke her up.

"Aisha. Aisha, wake up."

"Hhmm..."

"Here I made you soup. You got a fever from the rain yesterday."

Aisha got up and sat on the bed while gently fed her. After Aisha ate, Alex told her to rest for a while.

A few minutes later Kate arrived.

"Alex, where is Aisha? "

"She's in my room."

"How is she?"

"She seemed to have gotten a fever from the rain yesterday."

Kate tried to call James, but he wasn't answering. It turned out that he was actually with Belle and his phone was on silent mode.

Alex went to check on Aisha, and she was fast asleep.

"Hey Alex."

"Hmm..."

"Can you take care of Aisha? I have work to do."

"Okay."

with that Kate left Aisha to Alex. After some time Alex saw Aisha walk out of his room, and he quickly went over to her.

"Hey are you okay? How are you feeling?"

"My head still hurts..."

"Alright then, sit on the couch and I will get you some medicine."

Alex gave Aisha's medicine, after drinking medicine Aisha went back to Alex's room to fetch her phone to call James.

"Hello? James."

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Nothing where are you?"

"At home, playing video games."

"Oh..."

"Anyway, my dad is calling me so... I need to go. Bye."

James hung up, but Aisha still couldn't believe what she saw the other day, suddenly Alex entered the room and he saw Aisha holding her phone.

"Who were you talking to?"

"It was James, but he said he had something to do."

"Oh..."

"Alex... do you think I should break up with him?"

"Well... if he is going out with another girl you should ask him if he still loves you and when you have your answer you have to decide."

"Well I guess you have a point."

Aisha looked at her phone's lock screen with the picture of her and James together.

Aisha's POV:

"Maybe Alex is right James is going out with another girl. I should have at least proof to prove that he is cheating on me, but how?"

Alex left Aisha to clean his dorm while Aisha stayed in his bedroom thinking about James, she didn't want to ask Kate for help because she knew that Kate won't let James slide nor Belle.

"What should I do? I can't ask Kate for help and Alex already gave me advice. Hhhm... I'll do what Alex told me, tomorrow."
