I wake up to the sound of old man Henry yelling the same old thing " BREAD...GET YOU NICE HOT BREAD, FRESH RIGHT OUT OF THE OVEN. GET IT NOW BEFORE IT IS TO LATE!" HE says that every morning at 6 am sharp, It's quite amazing that he still got the loudest voice in this neighborhood at the age of 75, I applaud him for that, being able to still have that type of voice at the age he is at is incredible. Anyways today will not be one of my most pleasant days,I'm going to a new school. It's not Iike a new school year were you're new student or anything, No, I am transferring midschool year... I am going to school half way through the year but I'm going to my first public school. Now don't start thinking I am rich or anything no, in fact i'm actually really poor I live by myself my parents gone left me, Why, because I'm cursed with the mark of the moon. I know you are wandering what that is and well to put things in simple terms, I have the mark of the moon and well it is a curse because a long time ago [1000 years ago] a baby was born, the baby was born with a simbol on his back,no one knew what is was but anyways as the child got older he had gained super human powers he was praised as the world's greatest person but as time went on his powers were becoming a great threat to human kind he tried to stop it he was agood battle with himself everyday.One day when he was training his body had been taken over by his power when he was at a weak point. The power was to strong for him to stop,he went one a killing spree and killed almost 2 million people all over the world. He eventually came to his sense but by that time the damaged had already been done. He was sentences to death. Not knowing why he tried to plead not guity, no one believed his story. In a fit of rage and frustration he said " You people that call me a murder, a savage, the devil. I am telling you that you have been mistaken it is not me you are looking for I am innocent yet you don't believe me. You say I killed you families and your friends...WHAT TYPE OF PETSON DO YOU THINK I AM! ONE SECOND YOU ARE PRAISING ME SAYING THAT I AM ABLE TO SAVE THE WORLD, YET KNOW CALLING ME A BLOODY HEARTLESS MURDER...WHY...WHY!" He continued with " Until I have been proven innocent every ten years this world will have my rage conflicted on it, You never know what type of danger will befall the world until it happens, but I will make this promising note, When my power passes on and the new wielder of my power is born this world will not experience an type of danger for the first 13 years and will also carry the same mark as me, until then let generations from generations suffer for your cruelty towards me!" Ever since then every new born child that was born on the tenth year was checked to make sure that they didn't have the mark,scientist started studying what went down that day to try to prove his innocent. Some people believed that the story is not true and this is just the government trying to scare people.Some however did believe in this story and they would pray to the gods that their kids weren't curse with the mark.True to his word every tenth year something horrific would always happen, a good example would be that massive earthquake 20 years ago, killed 100 people. 10 years ago though something happened, there was no dangerous threat like at all...nothing. That year 10,000 kids were born each and every single one of them were check and out of 10,000 kids 1 was shown to have the mark and that person is me. My mom was one of those people that believed in the story despite her hating me she still took care of me until, 2 years ago she went to work and never came back home, as for my dad when he heard the news well....he...he killed himself from shame,fear,maddness, who knows. I never went to a normal school, I wasn't allowed outside and I stayed in my room for the majority of the time. I could tell I wasn't wanted. Now that I am 10 years old I guess I should be in the 5th grade but I don't know, I do now one thing though I guess the government felt bad about me or they are doing this for publicity but I will be attending a public school for the first time.I don't know why they chose that but I can't complain I guess.

ONE HOUR LATER

On the way to school I think I will buy some bread from old man henry but first I should figure out how much I have,5 dollars..5 dollars should be enough. as I'm walking out of my house I start to notice things that I didn't when I was inside my house like how old man Henry carries a bell with him and that cigarette in his mouth. I was only a few feet away when he noticed me, " OHH hello there star it's nice to see you again what can I do for ya." Before I say anything I notice a shadow in a dark Allyway staring me down, I understand why you would,I mean I get it but at least try to be more secertly about it please I get uncomfortable to you know, "hello star you in there you have been off for quite some time now hello" he said waking me up from my daydream "sorry umm..I will take a sweetbread with water please thank you" I replyed "It's alright but I didn't know you were that type of person to daydream like that... and the sweetbread and water will be one the House just this once okey have a great first day at school." he said. As I walk off I only start to realize what he said but I'm not surprised old man Henry knows everything but I guess I should be a little surprise though I know he knows everything but, I didn't know he knew today was my first day of school but it doesn't really matter does it I am just glad that even though old man Henry know I am the quote on quote moonchild he still is kind to me, and for that I am great full for his kindness. Maybe school won't be that bad, only one way to find put.
