The car ride seemed to last forever and Theo felt tired, but not tired enough to let his guard down around the ML just yet.

He walks into the bedroom, turns around and watches as Ryan closes and locks the door behind him.
He throws his bag on the bed and rushes to the window, his heart racing as he tries to open them, but they’re locked shut.

(If I try to smash the glass, the noise is obviously going to alert them and they’ll come running.)

He throws himself on the bed and tries to think of what to do. What Theo would do and not Zero as he wasn’t Zero anymore.

(Staying here is surely better than returning home to mother, right?)

He tries to keep his eyes open for as long as he could, but sleep quickly overtakes him.
