Hi, my name is Li Yuxi little do I know I will get married into the person that I don’t even know, the person that I don’t even love. The more I think about it the more I don’t even want to live. My life is a miserable. My mother got into a car accident when I was young. My father remarried and he forgot about me. I felt like I’m invisible in this family. The only person that care about me is my grandma but sadly she past away when I was 15, now I’m 23 and I’m getting married in 3 months.

After coming home from a long day at work Li Yuxi notice that her father and step mother were talking about something. “What are we gonna do now husband” crying Mistress Li. “There’s nothing we can do, we just need someone to replace Li Qinqin” said Old master Li. “Dad what are you guys talking about?” Li Yuxi asking curiously.

As soon as Li Yuxi came in, Mistress Li have an idea and quietly ask the Old master “What about Li Yuxi we can replace her as Li Qinqin.” “That right!” Old master Li reply happily.

Li Yuxi was so confuse with her dad and step mother reaction. She was about to go upstairs until her father have said something really unexpected. “Li Yuxi you’re getting married!” Li Yuxi turn around quickly. “Father you must be lying!” “I’m not lying” reply Old master Li. Li Yuxi and her father argue until he told her the truth why she is getting married. Li Yuxi was upset and angry with her father. She went into her room and cried for the whole night.

She woke up and went to the bathroom, she notice that her eyes are all red from crying all night yesterday.

Li Yuxi thinking to herself that why would her father do this to her? Why is he so heartless and let her daughter marry into a stranger that she doesn’t know. “I couldn’t accept this marriage at all, maybe if I move to another country I won’t be able to see them ever again.” *Sigh* Li Yuxi. “It not gonna work out.”

Li Yuxi leave the house, she decided that she should go to her boyfriend place first. As soon as she got to her boyfriend apartment she notice that the door wasn’t lock she open it quietly and she heard a moaning sound coming out from the room. She peak through the door and saw her best friend making love with her boyfriend. She ran out from the arpartment and cry. “Why would they do this to me! I thought he love me but he’s cheating on me behide my back!”

After that Li Yuxi was so upset, she didn’t even went back home. She went to the bar and drink until she satisfied. She was so drunk she couldn’t even stand up straight. Li Yuxi glance to the side and saw two guys coming toward her. “What a cute girl drinking by herself? Let us accompany you.” “No..go away.” While he was distracting Li Yuxi the other guy drugged her drink.

“Come on little girl we just want to drink with you.” Li Yuxi didn’t pay attention, she took a sip of the drink. “Why does my body feel weird? No, they drugged my drink!”

“Sorry, but I got to use the bathroom.” The two guys didn’t let her go easily. When Li Yuxi know that she’s in trouble she run as fast as she could. “She’s getting away get her!” Shouted the guy. The two guys chase after her. Li Yuxi ran into a room and lock herself in it. She couldn’t see anything because it too dark. “Damn it we lost her!” Li Yuxi was too tired she passed out in the room. *Creaking door noise* “Tsk, woman. Did he bring me another woman again? Humph interesting.” Li Yuxi heard the door creaking “H-elp me please.” “Humph, woman you’re asking for it.”

After Li Yuxi woken up she saw a man sleeping next beside her. She was shock because it was her first time. “No it can’t be!” (Saying to herself) “ I must get out of here.” Li Yuxi leave without a trace. After he woke up he was looking for her. “Where did that stupid woman go?” He look at the bed sheet and saw that it was cover in blood. He was surprise that it was her first time. “Did I hurt her last night?” He felt something cold under the pillow, he takes it out and see’s it was a locket necklace. He smile and said “We should meet again.”

While coming home Li Yuxi saw her father and step mother wating for her in the living room. Her father saw her looking like a mess. “ Where did you go last night?” Ask her father.” “ Where I go is none of your business!” Angrily reply Li Yuxi. “ You should of known that the young master of Zhang only like clean girl, you better not do anything dirty last night or we’re dead!” Said her father.

“Not do anything dirty? Ever since mom passed away you never mentioned me as your daughter! Also you know the reason why mom got into that car accident!” *Pointing to Mistress Li* “ It was her who made mom got into that car accident, mom saw her and you..” *SLAP* Li Yuxi didn’t get to finish her sentence.

“DON’T YOU EVER SAYS THAT TO YOUR STEP MOTHER EVER AGAIN! GO TO YOUR ROOM YOUNG LADY!” Angrily reply Old master Li.

Li Yuxi running into her room and shut her door loudly * BANG!* She couldn’t believe that her father slapped her. She cried all night and didn’t come out from her room.

[2 days later]

A maid knocking on Li Yuxi door. “Young lady please come out you haven’t eat or drink anything in 2 days your father is worried about you.”

“If my father worried about me then he should of come say it to me!” Reply Li Yuxi. Li Yuxi try to stand up but she couldn’t get out from her bed because of tiredness and hunger. She gather all her strength and tried to get up. She walk into the bathroom and look into the mirror she see that her face has look different because of crying too much.

While walking downstairs Li Yuxi saw her father and step mother in the dining table. Li Yuxi father looking at her with an worried face. Li Yuxi didn’t look at her father, she walk past them and just sat down.

The room was full of silent and uncomfortable because of what happened yesterday.

After a long silent minutes, Li Yuxi father told her to go get ready because young master Zhang is going to come pick her up to go choose a wedding dress.

Li Yuxi nodded her head and went upstairs.

(While back at Zhang villa)

“Father, why didn’t you told me that I’m going to get married!?” Said Zhang Yufeng. “You don’t need to know, just do what I said and one day I’ll let you inherit the family company.”

“Today you need to go pick up the Li family daughter, and go pick out a wedding dress. GOT THAT?! And done mess things up!”

Zhang Yufeng glare at his father. He was so angry that he slam the door while going outside. He was thinking about the girl from last night. “I must find her.” He said.

(At Li Household)

One of the maid saw the car outside and shouted “Young master Zhang is here!”

Li Yuxi hurried and tie her hair up. While she was running from downstairs she trip and hurt her knees. “Ouch!”

“There’s no time just go outside.” Said her father.

Li Yuxi ran to the door and open it. She couldn’t believe that her father didn’t even care about her when she fall downstairs. Tears was coming out of her eyes but she tried not to cry.

She was looking inside the car but didn’t see anyone so she went to look at the driver seat but couldn’t see anything.

“Is this girl dumb or what?” He rolled his window down and tell her to get in the car.

“I’m sorry Mr Zhang I didn’t know that your car window is tinted.” Li Yuxi reply awkwardly. “Just get in the car.” Zhang Yufeng reply with a cold voice.

When Li Yuxi got into the car, Zhang Yufeng feel like he recognized her from somewhere, but couldn’t remember where he recognized her from. “Have we ever met before?” He said.

“I- i don’t think so...” “Well, this was kind of awkward.” Saying in her mind.

(10 minutes later)

“We’re here.” “Oh ok.”

Both of them got off the car and went inside the store. One of the worker greeted them and show them the wedding dress.

“How about this dress?” Said one of the worker.

Li Yuxi pauses and glance at Zhang Yufeng and saw his face. He look so cold and sad... She know that he was force on this too. “Um yes, I’ll tried on this dress.”

When Li Yuxi came out of the dressing room, Zhang Yufeng didn’t even look at her at all. Li Yuxi know that he doesn’t love her either, they both doesn’t have feelings for each other. She was sad inside her heart.

After trying out the wedding dress they both went to pick out a ring but he doesn’t even care to look what ring she pick, he just told her to pick any ring she wanted. So she did.

After walking for 20 minutes he notice that she was a bit slow. He look at her knees and saw that it was injured so he told her to sit down and wait for him. He came back with a medkit.

“What are you doing?” Said Li Yuxi.

“Stupid girl don’t you know that your knees is injured.” He said. “Oh I forgot that my knees was injured.” Said in her mind.

She was shock that he is caring for her. Li Yuxi said thanks you with a smiling face but he didn’t said anything. He take her home after that.

“When will this end?” Li Yuxi said.
