Caged Desires
Chapter 1
Liam was running with all his strength, he was panting heavily, his legs were becoming numb, he looked behind again, and again and he could hear those giggles and laughter of those hideous creatures, it was raining, and the clouds were roaring. The jungle was dark and thick enough to make everything worse.

Liam felt relieved when he saw the light coming from the cave,the place where he resides

I wanted a taste of him today (whine*)
liam reached the cave and hurried inside

A tall looking woman who had black long hair and pale hair, in her Early 40s was standing inside the cave while holding a book, she ran towards Liam as soon as she saw him..

Liam!! Do you know how worrIed i was ?? (angry*)

crying while sitting like a baby *
She embraced him and started patting his back

Hellena looked at his son who was soaked in rain,his white long hair had droplets on them and they were sparkling like crystals, his eyes were read as the Garnet stone, he looked like an angel.

CHAPTER 2
liam opens his eyes in the cave..left alone again,he looks around the cave but there was no sign of his mother,to his side she left some medicines and tea for him
It happened again and yet i couldn't do anything, other than that im just wodering why my mother hid something like that from me all this time..she kept me in the dark,lost in my thoughs i stand up,after getting dressed up i leave the cave holding a bag full of the handcrafts i make,yes i make handcrafts and pots and I sell them
i leave the cave and start walking to the town,the sound of the people and vehicles moving gave me utter joy,i rush to the shop i work in,as i enter Mr.Flock, the owner of the shop look at me,a gentle smile playing on his lips
Mr. Flock
Oho,Good morning my boy!
Liam Hodges
Good morning(smiles and walks to the counter*)
Liam Hodges
What are you Fixing Mr. Flock?(says while looking at the toy he was trying to fix*)
Mr. Flock
Just some toy(looks at the bag*)Did you bring the Handcrafts with you?(smiles*)

oh-yes Sir(takes the handcrafts out*)
Mr. Flock
(looks at them*)You've really dons it this time,my boy!(smiling*)im so proud of you,you're really hardworking!
Mr. Flock
Well look at the time,i have some important work today so why dont you look after the shop while om gone and dont forget to place your handcrafts on the front shelf(says with a gentle smile*)

Oh,i see dont worry Mr. Flock i will
Mr. Flock leaves the shop..After that Liam started working placing the handcrafts,fixing the toys and dealing with the costumers
I was looking at the organised shelves when i heard the door opening,i turn around to see William, A noble and my favourite customer,he looks at me and it make the blood rush to my cheeks making them red

Good morning,Liam(a charming smile on his face*)

G-good morning..you must me here for the pot you ordered
William Black
Ah..yes the pot indeed(walks to the counter*)
Liam goes to the backroom and brings the handmade white beautiful pot with blue flowers painted on it,he places the pot on the counter

Its beautiful..

(Chuckles*)no need to thank me you did all the hardwork(traces a finger on the pot*)

(blushes*)Shall i pack it up?

(Looks at liam*)yes of course
Liam packs up the pot,the whole time William's gaze wasnt leaving him,his eyes were following the movment of Liam's delicate fingers
William's servant takes the pot to his vehicle

here is the payment(places the money on the counter*)

(looks at the money*)But..this is too much i cant-
William Black
Shh..(smiles*) its not even worth half of your handwork Liam
William Black
if you complain again i swear im gonna double the money

CHAPTER 3
It was evening now and all the work had kept Liam busy,he hears door opening revealing Mr. Flock,He takes his hat off and looks at Liam

Looks like everything has been taken care of(smiles*)

i really appreciate your assistance Liam

Well,i will take care of things you should head home,eh?

Yes sir(takes his hat and coat *)
As Liam walks out of the store,the cold breeze hits him, causing goosebumps,he smiles as he sees Children and people walking down the street looking all merry and happy
A soft music was playing by a group of musicians down the street causing the whole scene to look more beautiful,the yellow streetlight and the purple/pinkish sky were a good contrast...
But just then a thought hit him..
he hurries to the cave,he has to,no matter what,before the sunsets
Because he knows what will happen after the sunsets, creatures,ghosts and monsters will chase him down
Liam runs with all his strength and goes inside the cave

Mother!i made it!(says happily ,still panting*)
Liam looks around but there was no sign of her..the poor boy waits and waits and eventually he drifts to sleep..
At late night Hellena returns at the cave,seeing his son sleeping peacefully while holding his pillow makes all her weariness go away,she walks to him and sits beside him, caressing his hair, a gentle smile playing on her lips
But just then she hears something outside the cave..Something not human..simething that its Aura was so strong causing her to feel dizzy all of a sudden,she looks at Liam one last time

(Kisses his forehead*)..I'll be right back(whispers*)..
Hellena grabs her back of magic potions and stuff along with her book,wears the hood and leaves,a tear falling down her cheek
Next day Liam opens his eyes as the Abstemius sunlight hits his eyes and the sound of crowd from afar cheering..
He looks around still no sign of his mother.. after doing his chores,getting ready..
He heads to the town,people were cheering and were happy,it almost felt like some sort of festival was going on..
He walks to a store and asks the Shopkeeper about the commotion

Good day Sir,may i ask what this commotion is about?
Shopkeeper
Good day, you dont know?!(surprised*)
Shopkeeper
Well my boy!they found a witch last night,the witch who has been a curse to this Town
Shopkeeper
Yes,a witch but dont you worry they burnt her to the ground,at first they couldnt believe a woman this beautiful could bs a witch
Liam couldnt believe what he was hearing,His whole body was numb and he was still,looking at the ground emotionlessly,he didnt know how to react,what to say,what to believe...he just kept standing

Mother...(his voice barely above a whisper*)
Shopkeeper
did ya say somethin?
Liam starts walking,looking at ground,He couldnt hear anything it felt like all the things around him disappeared..a tear escapes his eye and falls on the ground and tears keep falling,but his face was emotionless..
Liam ckept walking until he fell on the ground,crying,the only thing he had was taken away from him..
