"AH!" Rowan screamed as he had just been woken up by the loud festival going on

"Oh yeah, that's right! a new king has been elected today!" Rowan remembers

"Rowan! Rowan!"

Rowan hears loud footsteps coming to his door.

"Rowan!" As the door opens roughly

"Gia?" Rowan wondered why his little sister barged into his room

"Let's go to the festival! You promised!" Gia said in an angry tone

"Of course! I forgot, Just wait a while I'll get ready" Rowan said

Rowan hurriedly changed his clothing as he was trying to remember that dream before he got woken up.

"Alright, let's go"

Rowan and Gia were going to the kingdom's castle where they waited to see the new king.

"What do you think he'll look like, Rowan?" Gia Asked

"I don't kno-" Rowan was interrupted by the trumpets as a rather large person emerged from the inside of the castle's balcony

"Everyone! Rejoice! for we finally have a new king!" Everyone cheered and clapped

"Now we stand here to see his face! as we couldn't in the election!" Everyone was curios and overjoyed to see the new king's face

"Good Morning, People of Astavaz, I am your new king!, Eura Gorleth! and I hope to make this kingdom rise from it's miserable state!"

Everyone cheered,clapped,laughed, all in joy about how there was finally a new king.

"I hope so" Rowan sighed

"Heh.. fools" The king laughed loudly to the point where it sounded creepy and eerie

Everyone wondered and was scared but still cheered

"Don't judge people by ther laughs! Cmon!"

Someone from the crowd shouted

"...... IN HELL " The king shouted and explosions emerged from each side of the kingdom

Everyone panicked and thought they were attacked by another kingdom.

The king laughed and laughed and blew off the balcony

" WHY BRING THIS MISERABLE KINGDOM BACK TO LIFE, WHEN IT COULD JUST DIE? "

The king shouted and started exploding crowds and crowds of people running to get safety.

Rowan carried Gia as she cried from the sudden turn of events

"No! No! No! No! No!, Why is this happening?! Why?!" Rowan cried as adrenaline filled his body hoping that his little sister wouldn't get killed

The king saw the two running away

" Running? Not today!! "

As air coiled around his arm striking it towards Rowan and his little sister

Gia's eyes open wide as she saw the coil of air rushing towards them like a cannon ball

Rowan fell and looked back

" CRAP! GODDAMN IT! WHY ME!?! "

As something emerged from the alleyways

" Aegis " The coil of air stopped with an explosion as a blue barrier formed behind them both

" Get away from Astavaz! That is the rumored king said to destroy kingdoms to fullfill his satisfaction! Run! " A knight protected them both and gave them time to escape

Rowan ran and carried Gia as he saw a battle between the knight and the king take place

Rowan ran and ran carrying his little sister as a battle went down with the knight and the king

Rowan wanted to thank the knight but couldn't due to the situation

" Goddamit! I gotta get out of this place! "

Rowan saw something flying at the corner of his eye

CRASH

He saw the knight that saved them earlier lying down covered in the rubble of the ground

" RUN! You're wasting time just standing there! g-get out of here! " The knight shouted as he stood up ready to fight the king once again

" How awful " The king stood quietly just behind Rowan

" CRAP! " Rowan woke up sweating

" My my! When will you get over that horrible memory! That was 4 years ago! And it makes me jump and worry for you to wake up sweating and screaming! " Gia complained

" I'm sorry, I'm trying my best to forget about it" Rowan sighed in relief

" Hmph! that's what you always say! " Gia said

" What is it today? " Rowan asked

" It's Sunday, 8:30 AM, time for you to leave! " Gia answered in an infuriated tone

Rowan's eyes got wide just to realize that he was already late for his travel

" I'm late! Did you tidy my stuff already?? " Rowan asked hurriedly

" Yes, I already did! Now leave! "

Gia screamed

Rowan left the house running to the dock

" That nap was no good! "

Rowan arrived to the dock seeing that the boat left already but wasn't that far

" Wait! Wait! Wait! " Rowan shouted ans waved his hands hoping it'll stop

" Goddamnit! I thought I was supposed to be saving my energy for this! " Rowan said

" Coiling! " Coils of air formed around his feet as he got launched into the air and onto the boat

" Woah! That training did pay off! " Rowan said happily

The people in the boat were shocked and confused about what had just happend

" I should get some rest cause this is probably going to be a long ride! " Rowan said as he went to one of the boat's rooms he booked

" Attention Passengers, We have arrived at our destination, Gorgon City, Please take your belongings, And kindly exit towards the dock " The captain announced

" How long was I asleep? And I forgot to say goodbye to Mr.Hugh and Gia! I hope they'll find that note I left " Rowan wondered as he took his belongings and left the boat

" Alright! I'm in Gorgon City! I hope that this isn't another robbery! " Rowan hoped as he took out the poster he saw

" Let's see.. Beside the Gorgon Café? Alright! " Rowan said as he ran around asking for directions

" Is this it? the café looks so horrible " Rowan said in a disappointed tone

" Well I guess it's just about her-? " Rowan gets interrupted by a robbery

" Gimme yer' money, Lad, if ye' scream we'll take ye life " The robber said with a gun pointed on his head

" I spoke too soon " Rowan said as coils of air sorrounded his fists

" Kid's got Spirit Alchemy! Hit him with yer' dart! " One of the robbers ordered a marksman

"..Ferrum Festum! '' As a person came in slashing all the robbers

" Sorry, I was late! luckily you didn't get shot or else you would've been paralyzed for 2 days,

Anyways, the name's Ruse Marren, And you wanted to kill the Wandering King? " As the person introduced himself

Ruse offered his hand to help Rowan stand

" You fine? You should follow me to my hideout! " Ruse said

" Sure! I just hope this isn't another twist robbery, Cause you look pretty strong " Rowan hoped

The two laughed as they both went to Ruse's

" Here it is! It aint much but it's comfy for me! " Ruse said

" You're the only one here!? " Rowan asked in a confused tone

" Whadda'ya expect? I just started this for the money, Hoping to get some people directly, Yet everyone is afraid of the Wandering King, So that's why I'm alone here in this old shack " Ruse explained

" I don't blame them, I almost got killed by him, and it was terrifying " Rowan said

"..Almost? " Ruse asked

" Hm? Wanna know the story? " Rowan asked

" Wouldn't hurt to hear it, Sure " Ruse answered

" I used to be a villager in a kingdom named Astavaz, We were celebrating a new king, And that new king was unknowingly the

Wandering King, So we didn't know, And then he destroyed it, I was running with my sister on the line, The knight that helped me was blown off, I stood in shock as he stood behind me, I thought I was gone but then he was stabbed by hundreds of knights, I helped the Knight that saved me and my sister, He then trained me how to fight, After I told him I wanted to kill the Wandering King..... Can't believe that was 4 years ago, Hehe " Rowan explained his story about how he got attacked and almost killed by the Wandering King himself

" Hm, You must've been very lucky for hundreds of knights to stab and stop the Wandering King, Huh? " Ruse asked

" Yeah.....

How about you? Where'd you come from? "

Rowan asked

" I was born in another city, but went here to train myself and get as strong as a samurai who graduated from the school I also graduated from " Ruse said

" And who might that be? " Rowan asked

Rowan asked from overhearing the robbers earlier

" It's basically a type of alchemy that uses your spirit to do crap, There are currently 4 types of it, Those being:

*Enhance, which basically enhances your body.

*Downgrade, which is the opposite.

*Gene Alternation, which makes you turn into an animal using the blood of it.

* Elemental, which uses the 4 elements

Lots of people practice it, but not around here I guess.. " Ruse answered

A telephone rang right after Ruse answered

" Uh Hello? " Ruse picked up the telephone as a person answered and introduced himself

" Speaking of Spirit Alchemy, We're going to another city full of users! Now ain't that a coincidence! " Ruse said overjoyed about finally getting people to help him

Rowan was overjoyed and excited to see who took the offer as they both ran out of the shack and went to book another boat ticket for today

" We made it in time! " Ruse and Rowan said as they felt tired from the running and the excitement

" Why couldn't he come here? " Rowan asked

" He's Royal, Therefore he can't leave until the King of that Kingdom gives us permission face to face! " Ruse answered

As both stayed up all night waiting for the boat to arrive
