The Alpha's Transmigrated Omega

Chapter 1

“Fuck, this is the worst comic I’ve ever read.” I tugged on my hair, frustrated by the damned book. “I bet the author is one psychotic bastard,” I moaned aloud, disheartened by the book.

I can’t believe I read a book like that. This was by far the worst MC I’ve ever had the opportunity to read about.

The art was great, but the plot was just total rubbish.

It took me three long days to read through that damned comic, and for what?

Just to read about that silly omega who couldn’t even stand for himself? He acted like a love-struck puppy to an Alpha who never loved him.

“Come on, Mega. We need to get the books back to the library. You have to cease making snide remarks about your comics.” Philip rolled his eyes at me.

I bet he has gotten tired of hearing me complain about the comic I just completed. His black eyes seemed more tired than he looked when he left earlier.

“Can you blame me for that, man? That omega is so dumb. How can you love someone who has always treated you like trash?

I don’t get it.”

If only I can meet that stupid omega, I would have shaken some sense into him. It would have only taken a slap to completely reformat his mentality.

Phillip sighed. “It’s alright. Since you don’t like the comic, I will get another one for you.” He tossed my jacket to me. “Here, wear it. We need to get moving. The librarian just phoned me.” He ran a hand through his blonde hair as a sigh escaped his lips. His dark eyes locked with mine, in a silent plea for me to keep my mouth shut.

“You are getting a new comic for me, promise?” I wore the jacket he gave me and combed my hair with my fingers. “I might get a haircut soon.”

It has been long since I cut my hair. I don’t need it to grow long before I cut it.

“Maybe, we will do that after sending the books back,” Phillip took the books. “For now, we have some tasks to do.” He hastened out of our room.

I followed him and locked the door behind us.

Phillip and I live in an apartment off campus because the dorms were filled. We rented a condo close to the school, and have been living here since our first year. Though it wasn’t all roses and such, Phillip is one great, bloody friend.

“I’m never going to read a comic written by that man.” I fumed. “That was the worst comic ever.”

I wasn’t about to drop the matter until I’d vented enough.

Phillip sighed. “I get it, Mega. You don’t have to tell me more about your comic.” He turned to look at me.

“No, you don’t get it! That comic was trash! Wait, it’s not even the comic. It’s that foolish omega. How can he be so dense? I know he loves the Alpha dearly, but why will he allow the Alpha to treat him like a fool?” I felt like kicking a water bottle I saw lying on the floor.

“People are glancing at us, Mega. Keep your voice down.” Phillip glanced around before he took my hands and made to cross the road.

However, I refused to let him hold me because I was still pissed.

“I don’t bloody care!” I took a step back. “That Omega is shit! He—”

“Mega, watch out!”

I heard Phillip shout before the collision. A sharp pain racked my body as I fell on the tarred road.

I slowly opened my eyes. My body didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. I thought the collision will leave me in pain, with my legs strung up in a hospital bed.

“Fuck, what just happened?” I placed a hand on my forehead, and peeked up, expecting to meet Phillip’s worried glance.

But nothing of that sort happened.

Instead, I discovered something shocking.

“Where am I?” I glanced around the forest, confused about how I got to be there. I was supposed to be in a damned hospital, and not a forest!

“Oh, you are awake.” A voice spoke behind me, and I instinctively turned.

Behind me was a strange creature.

He wasn’t only petite, but he had wings!

The small creature was dressed in a blue gown which covered his legs. The only visible things were his hands and wings. His hair was covered with a black cloak.

“What are you?” I tried to rise from the floor, but the searing pain I felt, caused me to sit back.

“I’m your system, I guess.” The strange creature placed a hand under his jaw. He gave me a once-over as if sizing me up the same way I did go him not too long ago.

“System? What system?” I glanced around the forest.

“You see.” The small creature glided over to me. “You died, and your soul somehow got here.”

“What do you mean?” His words confused me more.

“I don’t even know.” He blinked. “Just like you, I found myself here. All I know is that I’m your system. And I’m supposed to guide you through your—”

“Wait, I transmigrated?” I blinked. “Which world is this? Is this some dope world where I will get points when I kill villains? A world where I can level up after each stage?” I perked up. “Gosh! I’m the main lead, right?” It sounded so good to be true.

“Uh… I don’t know.” He nervously scratched his hair. “Let me consult the script.” He turned his back to me.

“Aren’t you a system?” I furrowed my brows at him. “Why do you need to read a script?”

He didn’t say a word for a long time.

“Oh, yes!” He suddenly turned to face me. “Welcome into the kingdom of the dark Moon. I’m your system, and your host is…..”

“Are you kidding me?” I gasped. “Dark moon?

Fuck.” I tugged on my hair. “Not only did I transmigrate into that shitty comic, but I got a stupid system?”

“Hey!” He pointed at me. “I have a name, you know! I’m not a stupid system!” He wagged his little fingers at me.

“What’s wrong?” I tried to rise from the ground, and this time, I was successful. “So, dear system, what’s my task?”

“Your task?” He placed a hand under his jaw. “What’s that?”

I groaned. “Who even made you a system? Well, I’m not surprised. After all, this is one stupid comic. I guess I will—”

He coughed. “Well, according to the script, you are Brys, an omega from the family of—”

“Brys?” I widened my eyes in shock. “I’m Brys?”

I scoffed.

This can’t be possible.

There is no way in hell that I will be that damned stupid omega.

“Well, that’s what the script said.” The stupid system glared at me

“Brys? Hmm. Which time in the comic did I arrive?” I placed a hand on my jaws. “Has he met the Alpha?”

“No… Not yet.” My stupid system glided in front of me. “According to the script, you only need to keep to the script.”

To hell that I will do that.

“And if I don’t? Is there any punishment attached?”

Though my system wasn’t as reliable as that of the ones I’ve read of in comics, I was aware he was the only one who can supply the answers to my questions.

“I think….” He skimmed through the script.

“You are even using a book? What of those fancy gadgets I read about?” I blinked as I moaned my luck.

In other system books I’ve read, their systems have fancy gadgets, but this one is using an old script for fuck’s sake.

“Oh, yes! You will receive a stroke of cane anytime you go against the plot.” He folded the little script.

“A stroke of cane?” Hmm. “Anything more?” I pursed my lips.

“None that I know of.” He grinned.

“Well, a stroke of the cane doesn’t sound that bad.” I beamed. “I’m going to show that damned author how a good story is written.”

“Hey! Don’t you dare go against me!” My stupid system placed both hands on his waist.

“I’m already doing that.” I limped out of the place and headed to my cottage.

With my memory of the comic, I will be able to navigate just fine, in this strange world — or so I thought.

Chapter 2

My cottage was at the place it was in the comics. I limped into it and headed straight to the cupboard where I knew the potion was kept.

Brys, the Omega I was inhibiting his body, was the weakest omega. Unlike other werewolves, he can't heal himself. And not only that, but he never met his werewolf until his untimely death.

"You will listen to me, Brys! I'm your system!" The stupid system fumed. He folded his little arms and glared at me. He looked like he was moments from tugging my hair, and forcing me into obedience.

"And if I don't?" I swallowed the bitter potion and headed over to the bed. I need to rest as much as I could before I think of the next plan. Leaving should have been the first thing on my mind. But I'm far too tired to think of that. For now, I need to sleep.

"Hmph!" He turned his back to me.

"Throwing a tantrum, are we?" I smirked. It's funny to watch the little creature getting angry over something I said. It made me wish to tease him. But I'm too tired to do that.

"Don't talk to me," he kept his back to me. His voice sounded deeper than normal. It seemed his anger increased.

"Well, that's for the best. I'm going to have a nap. Hopefully, the pain will subside by the time I wake." I folded my arms and closed my eyes.

If only I knew where I was in the comic, I would have known what will happen next. But for now, I need to rest, for the potion I just took, to work.

*****

The next day, I received a letter of admission to the Academy where Brys met Storm. It came the moment I stepped out of the cottage to get some fruits.

"Wow. Isn't the invitation letter dope?" My system peered at the invitation letter as if it housed all the interest in the entire world. He looked like one who has never seen a letter before. It made me wonder where he came from, but I kept those questions to myself.

I rolled my eyes at him. "This isn't even pure gold. You need to see the ones they sent to the Alphas."

"Have you seen it? Is it shinier than yours?" He flapped his wings.

I didn't reply to his questions. Instead, I went back to the cottage to get ready for departure.

In the comic, Brys was so tired after hunting the day before, that he ended up answering the summons, late. And that was when he met the Alpha.

It was in their first meeting, that he fell head over heels for that scheming bastard.

That was why I was determined not to allow it to repeat. I was determined to arrive there as early as I can, to avoid a meeting with the Alpha.

"What's the rush?" My system glanced at my packed bag. "You still have a day to—"

"It doesn't hurt to be on time." I glanced up at the sky.

"Why? According to the script—"

"To hell with the script!" I snapped at him. "Fuck!"

I cursed out when I felt a stroke of a cane on my back. I threw down the small bag in my hand as I doubled over in pain.

Fuck.

That hurts.

I groaned.

So this is how they want to play it out?

"I told you that you will get punished whenever you go against the script!" My system flew towards me. "Come on, I will help you get up—"

"You don't need to bother." I rose from the ground and stretched my muscled. "It's just a stroke of the cane." I took my bag, "let's go."

If all it takes was getting a stroke of a cane anytime I go against the plot, then, I will endure it.

Anything is better than dying.

I smirked.

I'm here to show Storm that an Omega isn't the weakest of wolves.

I might not be as strong as the others in the Academy, but I sure as hell aren't as dense as the former Brys.

Though it wasn't entirely his fault. Brys was brought up by his omega grandmother who died a season ago.

The academy was the first place where he met others like himself.

For eighteen years, he lived without any contact with the outside world.

Aside from when his grandmother took him to get registered, three seasons ago, he hasn't left the forest he grew up in.

Yet, that wasn't enough to justify his actions.

My stupid system chatted to the academy. He didn't rest, and neither did he give me breathing space.

"Are you so hell-bent on going against the script, human?" He blocked my path.

"Hasn't that been obvious from the onset?" I sidestepped him.

"Why? What's there in it for you? It's not as if you will die when you are killed. Your soul will return to your comatose body on Earth, and—"

"I don't care." I turned to face him. "As long as I'm stuck in this damned shitty comic, I, Mega, won't bow to that arrogant Alpha. I will show him what an Omega is made of."

My system started laughing. His cackles pissed me off more than his insistent babbling did.

"What's wrong?" I glared at him.

"You." He pointed at me as he continued to laugh.

I felt the urge to punch him, but instead, I hastened towards the gate of the academy.

In the comic, Brys never felt welcomed. The entire two years he spent in the academy were a nightmare to him, but I was determined to change all that.

With the plot still fresh in my mind, it won't be difficult for me to overcome all obstacles and find a way to get rid of the Alpha before he does that to me.

"Are you aware that you are an Omega?" The stupid system appeared in front of me before I could open the gate. He folded his arms and glared at me.

"Of course, I'm aware of that. It's not a secret, is it?" I pursed my lips.

"Then, you have to know that you can't possibly fight against an Alpha. You are just a weak Omega." He smirked.

"A weak omega, you say?" I scoffed. "At least, this week, Omega can punch you." I showed him my fist. "Should you try to cross me, I won't hesitate to punch you?"

He shivered. "I hate you!"

"Back to sulking like a kid?" I strode towards the gate and tried to open it. But it was locked. "It was unlocked in the comic, why is it locked?"

"You seem to have forgotten something." My system brought out the ancient script he so much loved to show off with. "According to the script, you were supposed to arrive on the second day. But here you are."

"I guess I will have to knock." I dropped the bag on the floor and knocked on the gate. "The perks of going early means I will have to choose my room."

In the comic, Brys arrived late, which was why he was assigned the last room in the building.

I knocked once more and stood back to wait for a teacher to unlock that gate.

"And who do we have here?" A voice asked behind me.

Instantly, I turned to face the newcomer.

"You—"

The words got stuck in my throat.

No, it can't be.

Chapter 3

I instantly turned towards the gate at the sight of the same Alpha I was trying to evade.

Something wasn't right at all!

In the comic, the Alpha didn't arrive until the next day. That was how he was able to meet Brys who was also late.

However, the said Alpha was standing behind me.

"Hey, Omega." He called out.

"Oh my, the one you are trying to evade is right behind you." My stupid system chuckled.

"Just shut up!" I snapped at him.

At the same time, the gate to the academy got opened by one of the new omega teachers they got.

"Good morning, teacher!" I greeted.

Without further wasting time, I ran into the academy and dashed for the third building.

I only turned when I got to the building. However, the Alpha was still standing by the gate, with a scowl on his face as he conversed with the teacher.

"That was close." I placed a palm on my chest.

"Do you think you can continue evading him? This is a story, Brys. I hope you are aware that everything has been predestined?" My stupid system raised a brow.

"Predestined my foot." I strode to the front door and knocked. "I won't let Brys go through all he went through."

I'm not as dense as the Brys the stupid author wrote about. I have a life, and I'm here to show everyone what an Omega is capable of.

******

As luck will have it, I was assigned to one of the rooms allocated to the Omegas in the academy.

This way, I have indirectly avoided the last room in the dorm, which happened to be on the wings of the Alphas.

That room was one of Brys' problems, and I've solved it. The next is to find a way to get rid of Storm before he develops the thoughts to harm me.

"As much as I love how to quiet your cottage was, I think this place is dope." My system plopped down on the bed beside the window. "God, it's been long since I lay on something so soft."

I frowned at his words. "Where did you come from?"

Could he also be like me?

He shrugged. "I guess I came from the same place as you. One moment, I was going grocery shopping, and the next moment, I found myself here." He placed his hands under him and glanced up at the ceiling.

"You were human?" I sat down on the bed opposite the one my system was on. "Where did you live? Which part of the planet—"

A knock on the door cut my words short.

"Your roommate is here." My system smirked. "You might have escaped the last room in the dorm, but now, you've earned yourself a roommate." He giggled as if there were anything funny with what he just said.

"Well, it's better this way." I rose from the bed and headed over to the door.

Had Brys been fortunate to have a roommate, I doubt he would have ended the way he did.

Perhaps, his roommate might have spoken some sense into his dense mentality.

I opened the door and was met with the blinding smile of an Omega.

His red hair which was so much like mine was tied up in a bun, with a few cascading down his pretty face.

The omega in front of me was just a head-foot shorter than me.

"Hi, I'm Ray," his green eyes sparkled. "I'm your roommate, I guess."

"I'm Me— Brys." I moved to the side and gestured for him to enter. "I'm pleased to meet you."

Ray chuckled. "Thank you. I'm so damned excited to start a new year in the academy!"

"Me too." I closed the door and faced him.

"So, which side are you taking?" He turned to me with bright sparkling eyes.

Jeez man, can you be less excited?

"The one by the window." I pointed to the one my system was lying on.

The damn fool was already sound asleep.

So much for being a system.

"That's great!" Ray hurried over to the other bed and dropped his bag beside him. "Which class are you in? Beginner or Intermediate?"

"Aren't we all beginners?" I went over to my side of the room and sat on the bed.

"Oh." He nervously chuckled. "I presumed you were already in the Intermediate classes."

"Nah, I'm just a beginner. And you?" I raised a brow.

"I'm also a beginner. It's simply that I studied here a year ago as a visiting student. This is my first proper year in the academy."

"Oh." I nodded.

In the comic, many students were privileged enough to be visiting students. Only a few attended those classes, and Storm was among them.

Ray rose from the bed he was sitting on and started arranging his books and clothes.

"Do you know who Storm is?"

The book, Ray was holding, clattered to the ground.

He turned to me with a scared expression on his face. "Wh… Why did you ask?" He stuttered.

I shrugged. "I met him when I came. He—"

Ray ran over to me. "Avoid him!" He knelt in front of me and placed a hand on my thighs. "Storm is bad news. Avoid anything relating to him!"

His actions made me raise a brow. "Why? Is he that bad?"

I pretended as if I weren't aware of his bad that damned Alpha is.

"He's the worst! Don't ever get yourself alone in a room with him. I heard he eats Omegas for lunch." Ray looked frantic.

Well, the rumours weren't all lies.

Storm does 'eat' omegas for lunch. Brys was a perfect example of that.

All Storm had to do was fake a small smile, and he had Brys wrapped around his pinky.

"You don't have to worry about me." I grinned. "Alphas are dirty. I don't like them."

"Good. We Omegas need to stick together. We can't allow the Alphas to bully us any more." Ray rose from his kneeling position. "Since I'm more knowledgeable about this academy than you, we need to stick together. This way, we can watch each other's back."

"That's a deal." I beamed. "I'm glad to make your acquittance, Ray."

"Me too." He grinned.

This is the first step. I've managed to evade the Alpha and the last room in the dorm. And I've made a new friend.

Things are looking good from my side.
