Ayu, a teenage girl who loves playing games. But, the most time she spent on is a sandbox game called Minecraft. She has cleared it many times and studied every mechanism of the game. It becomes normal things for her to play hardcore versions of vanilla Minecraft.

She got some suggestions by her online friends to try out modded version. She never tried any mods. Furthermore, she looks at other people playing. It was much more unique and can even reach to unbelievable potential of gameplay. Not only that, but she loves how it look. So, she decided to test it.

For years, she has been into the modded version and she's basically loving the new experience of the difference. Some are challenging but it's fun for her.

One day, she decided to take on a challenge to try adding mods one by one into the game.

Little did she knows, this changed her life forever as she chose the game mode to be Hardcore.

During the process of waiting, thunderstorm can be heard. It was a bad time for people since black out can happen anytime. But, to her unluckiness. She was shock by the thunder and her computer burnt alongside her. But, she wasn't dead. Instead, she was sent into some kind of rift.

"W… What's happening?!", she's loudly yelling looking in front of her, a loading screen. As the world around her slowly visible.

She is amazed by the beauty of the world terrain generation. There are a lot of animals and stuff she knows from the games she played. She is a veteran gamer.

"Wow... The world is so interesting. But, first. Where even am I?", she looks around her which what seems to be a vast forest. She looks around, she recognized some stuff. She walks in the forest. Not even wary of her surrounding, she's just taking a walk.

"Alright, golden rule of any sandbox survival game. Build a house! Though... I want to say it was easy.", she looks on the ground and seems like she has to collect sticks and stones before she could even get wood.

"I'm determined! To survive this new world!", she rushed to collect as many as she needs. But, few minutes later, she was already tired. So, she went to rest.

"Damn it, energy bar sure ran out fast.", she is taking some breathing and rest before continuing. She decided to minimize her movements and collect the necessary.

"Alright, I should go get some sands and smelt.", she went to find a nearby river. She takes eight sands and use coal to smelt the sands into glasses.

"Nice, now. All I need is to make the house crafting.", she takes out her crafting table and put the items in the orders. Three wooden slabs, two glasses, two wooden blocks, one bed, one door.

"Let's see. I need a nice place to put it.", she thought to herself while walking and saw a nice cliff to see the sunset.

"I should officially make here my temporary base.", she put the insta-structure block. And, it created a big house for her. She watches the sun setting, and then she went inside her house. She gets into the bed and got a notice. After that, she had choices.

"This is interesting. Let's see. Seems like it is daily rewards.", she looks at the three rewards.

[ Extra 9+ slots inventory ], [ 10 Stats ], [ Random items ]. These three rewards seems tempting. She thought to herself, stats can be obtained when leveled up. Random items is very risky at the beginning. So, she decided to take extra slots.

And, that's the beginning of her first day in another world.

The next day, she wrote in her diary before going on a journey. She also brought her antique atlas for movable minimap. As she walks deeper into the forest, she felt the warmth of the sun while walking. She decided to take a break seeing her energy bar depleted, and she is both thirsty and hungry.

She builds a little picnic set area and making sure there won't be anything trying to hunt her.

She filled up her hunger bar and thirst bar. Her satisfaction is full, and it seems like she gains a regeneration and some health plus.

"This is pure heaven. Crafting foods and eating them is much easier. Plus, I don't even need skills to make them. If I need skills, I would do a terrible job at it. Haha… Alright, now that I'm full. I should go look for people. Village or something. ", she wrote in her journal before setting off to find one.

She has been enduring in the forest for a long time. Still couldn't find a village.

"Man... This sucks... I found loot's and all. But, not a single village. So lonely...", she lay down on the ground and watch at the stars.

She stands up and walks. Suddenly, she saw a stone that looks familiar.

"This...is a waystone! Might as well mine one for my future base", she mined it and continued her journey. She walks miles upon miles. Looking on her directions. There is so many ruins and stuff. Yet, not a single village. She was tired. She went to sleep. Days turned to a week. And suddenly a notification comes out. She takes her rewards everyday like usual but this time, she saw it gives one reward only. She was happy with the reward.

"This... This particular item is!", she exaggerated herself and jumped around in happiness. "I can't believe it! I have a village finder! Let's see. It said up to North. Within 2,500 miles? That's quite a journey. Then, I will have to gear up... Blood moon is near.", she thought to herself and went to find a cave.

"Ah! I hate caves!", she holds her sword while facing monsters. Sometimes she was happy finding stuff. "Diamonds!", she screams as she runs towards it. But, was blocked by a lava golem.

"You again?! Why is there so much of you!", she tried dealing critical damages, but it was not much of a skill since the critical is only affected during fixed random critical. "This is frustrating. You're not even a boss. Yet you're so tough.", she's sighing and frustrated but immediately changed her mood and went to the diamonds. And become happy.

She keeps on mining for hours and wait for time to go day. "Oh, look. It's daytime. Better get out now. That was a great overhaul. Got some equipments and materials. Thank goodness I made 6 big backpacks. It was overflowing with valuable.", she went up on the surface. And breath in the fresh air. "Ah… Fresh air after long night mining.", she continues her journey to find the village. But, she kept on distracted by valuables stuff around her.

The journey was approximately took twelves days instead of planned three days.

After twelves days of walking, swimming and more. She finally arrived in the village.

"T… This is it. A civilization! Still... This is amazing. So much stuff is happening. Well, going back to the old base... Sounds like a hassle.", she thought to herself. She walks into the village. A lot of villagers playing around and was a happy little village.

They look at her like she did something wrong. "Did I do something? Or something on me?", she looked at the villagers being wary of her. She tried to approach a farmer. "Um... Hello?", she greets the farmer. The farmer replied, "Oh, hello young one. You seem to be covered in an armor, are you a mercenary?", the farmer asked. She quickly replied, "Oh, sorry. I'm not a mercenary. I'm an adventure. Why do you think of me as a mercenary?", she asked.

"Well, there have been many mercenaries in the past came here. They usually bring no good news to our village", the farmer said. "So, that's why the villagers being wary of me.", she said. "That seems like it", the farmer said. "Well, can I know if I could reside here?", she asked. "Oh? You wished to live here? You sure are an odd one. Well, come with me. I will lead to the chief.", the farmer replied.

While they're walking she was surprised to know the farmer was actually 60 years old because of how young she looks.

Then, she followed the farmer and met the village chief. "Who are you? We don't have anything valuable or needed anything from mercenary guild.", the chief sternly replied. "Ah, hello. My name is Ayu. I'm not a mercenary.", she said. "Not a mercenary? Then, why do you have armor?", he was still suspicious of her. "I'm actually an adventure, I just got here from my old house.", she said while smiling.

He stands up and look at the window, "This village is secluded place. How did you even find it.", the village chief asked. She wants to say that she have a village finder item, but it wouldn't be ideal. So, she made up a story. "I just walked for days upon days without direction. I was really happy to find a place where there are more people.", she smiled while talking because she didn't lie since it's also the truth. "Is that so, but we can't have you anywhere near here. The village is already full.", he said while being disappointed.

She smiles and said, "What if I live near the village? Can I do that?". "That's good to know that you're prepared. And the lands beyond the village is not owned, so it's fine.", the village chief agreed to her. "Well, I will go now. I don't want to trouble the villagers.", she said. "We don't mind if you want to live here. But, please. I do hope you don't hurt any of the children or the elders.", he replied, and she nodded and left.

"Alright. This should be a good place.", she looks around. She unpacked her stuff and started mining to flatten the surface. She went to sleep. And got her reward choices again, but this time is different.
