Shehnaaz had always struggled alongside her mother, living paycheck to paycheck. They shared a small apartment, barely making ends meet. Her mother worked tirelessly, but they couldn't seem to escape the cycle of poverty.
One day, while exploring her mother's old trunk, Shehnaaz stumbled upon a hidden compartment. Inside, she found a letter and a photo of a man she had never seen before. The letter revealed a shocking truth: her father, whom she had always believed was dead, was actually a wealthy businessman.
Shehnaaz's world was turned upside down as she confronted her mother about the revelation. Her mother, filled with guilt and regret, explained that she had kept the truth hidden to protect Shehnaaz from her father's corrupting influence.
Determined to uncover the truth, Shehnaaz set out to find her father. She was both nervous and excited as she arrived at his opulent mansion. The reunion was awkward, but Shehnaaz was determined to get answers.
As she got to know her father, she realized that his wealth came with a price. He was cold, calculating, and had no interest in forming a genuine relationship with her. Shehnaaz was faced with a difficult decision:
Shehnaaz, longing for her father's love and acceptance, made the difficult decision to leave her mother's side and live with him. However, her father, driven by his own interests, had other plans.
He presented her with a shocking condition: she would have to marry a boy of his choice, a union that would strengthen his business empire. Shehnaaz was horrified, her heart heavy with the weight of her father's ultimatum.
The boy, a stranger to her, was from a wealthy family, and the marriage would solidify her father's business ties. But Shehnaaz's dreams, aspirations, and happiness meant little to him.
Torn between her desire for her father's love and her own autonomy, Shehnaaz faced an impossible choice. Would she surrender to her father's demands, or would she find the courage to forge her own path, even if it meant losing the love and acceptance she so desperately craved?
Shehnaaz, desperate for her father's affection and approval, reluctantly agreed to his condition. She suppressed her own desires and dreams, sacrificing her happiness to fulfill her father's wish.
The wedding was a grand affair, with all the trappings of wealth and opulence. But Shehnaaz's heart was heavy with sorrow, her smile hiding her true feelings. She was trapped in a loveless marriage, bound to a stranger she didn't love.
As she went through the motions of her new life, Shehnaaz felt like a bird in a gilded cage, her wings clipped, her spirit crushed. Her father's affection and approval, which she had so desperately sought, now seemed hollow and unsatisfying.
She began to realize that her father's love came at too high a price, and that she had lost herself in the process. Would she find a way to break free from her golden prison and discover her own path to happiness,
Aman, the younger son of the Raichand family, was furious when he learned that his father had fixed his marriage with Shehnaaz without his consent. He felt like he was being sacrificed for the family's business interests.
"Why do I have to marry someone I don't love, just to strengthen our company's ties?" Aman argued with his father. "Why can't you see that I have my own dreams and aspirations? Why am I always the one who has to sacrifice for the family business?"
His father, Mr. Raichand, was unmoved. "This marriage will secure our future, Aman. It's a great opportunity for us. You will learn to love Shehnaaz, she's a wonderful girl."
Aman was frustrated. "Love is not a business deal, father! I want to marry someone I love, not someone you've chosen for me. Can't you understand that?"
But Mr. Raichand was adamant. "I've made up my mind, Aman. You will marry Shehnaaz, and that's final."
Aman felt trapped, his future being decided without his consent. He knew he had to find a way to convince his father to listen to him, or risk losing his happiness forever.
Aman also had older brother
Aman's older brother, Siddharth, was the CEO of Fraichol, a successful company. However, his relationship with their father, Mr. Raichand, was strained. Siddharth had always been independent and refused to be controlled by his father's business decisions.
The tension between them was rooted in a dark family secret: Siddharth's mother had left Mr. Raichand after discovering his infidelity. The scandal had rocked the family, and Siddharth had never forgiven his father.
In a heated argument, Siddharth's mother had even slapped Mr. Raichand, a moment that had left a lasting impact on the family dynamics. Since then, Siddharth had distanced himself from his father's business empire, building his own success with Fraichol.
Aman, desperate to escape the arranged marriage, turned to his brother Siddharth for help. Despite living with their father, Aman and Siddharth had maintained a strong bond, and Aman knew he could trust his brother.
"Siddharth, please help me!" Aman begged. "I can't marry Shehnaaz. I don't even know her! And father is forcing me into this."
Siddharth, understanding Aman's plight, agreed to help. "Don't worry, brother. I'll meet with Shehnaaz and make sure she doesn't want to marry me...I mean, you."
Aman grinned, relieved. "Thanks, Siddharth! Just be your charming self, and I'm sure she'll run the other way."
Siddharth chuckled. "Leave it to me. I'll make sure our father's plan backfires."
With a plan in place, Siddharth set out to meet Shehnaaz, ready to show her his "bad side" and save his brother from a loveless marriage.
Shehnaaz had been living with her stepmother and stepsister for a month now, but it hadn't been a smooth transition. Her stepsister, who was around her age, constantly made snide comments about Shehnaaz's mother and her financial situation
......
"You're so poor, that's why you had to move in with us," her stepsister would say, rolling her eyes. "Your mother couldn't even take care of you properly."
Shehnaaz tried to ignore her stepsister's jabs, but it was hard. She missed her mother and felt like an outsider in her new home. Her stepmother, though kind, didn't seem to understand her either
Shehnaaz felt a surge of anger, but she bit her tongue. She didn't want to give her stepsister the satisfaction of getting a rise out of her. Instead, she took a deep breath and focused on the task ahead: meeting Aman and hoping that he would be the one to help her escape this toxic environment.
...................
Shehnaaz took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves as she prepared to meet Aman. She had never seen him before, but her father had assured her that he was a good boy from a reputable family. She thought to herself, "Maybe this is a chance to start fresh and find happiness." She didn't know what Aman looked like or what his personality was like, but she was willing to give him a chance.
Shehnaaz arrived at the Royal Hotel, her heart racing with anticipation. She had dressed carefully, wanting to make a good impression on Aman. But as she waited in the lobby, she began to feel a sense of unease. 6:00 p.m. came and went, but there was no sign of Aman.
She tried calling him, but his phone went straight to voicemail. She waited for another hour, sipping on a coffee and trying to stay calm. But as the minutes ticked by, her anxiety grew. Where was Aman? Had he stood her up?
Just as she was about to give up and leave, a figure emerged from the elevator. It was Siddharth, dressed in a sharp suit and looking every bit the part of a confident businessman. But Shehnaaz didn't know that this was not the Aman she was supposed to meet...
Shehnaaz stormed into her father's office, still fuming from her encounter with Siddharth (who she thought was Aman).
"Papa, I don't want to marry him!" she exclaimed. "He's arrogant, rude, and only cares about himself. I can't spend my life with someone like that!"
Her father looked up from his desk, surprised by her outburst. "What are you talking about, Shehnaaz? Aman is a great guy from a good family. He'll take care of you."
Shehnaaz shook her head. "You don't know him, Papa. He's not what he seems. I met him and he was so nasty and disrespectful. I don't want to marry someone like that!"
Her father's expression turned stern. "Shehnaaz, this marriage is important for our family's business. You need to understand-"
But Shehnaaz interrupted him, her voice firm. "No, Papa. I won't marry him. I'd rather marry someone who respects me and treats me with kindness. Not someone who only cares about himself."
Shehnaaz's father, desperate to save the marriage alliance, resorted to emotional blackmail. "Shehnaaz, if you don't marry Aman, you'll be disappointing me and our entire family. What will people think? You'll be ruining our reputation..."
Shehnaaz, feeling guilty and pressured, reluctantly agreed. "Okay, Papa... I'll marry him."
But, unbeknownst to her father, Siddharth and Aman were celebrating their successful plan. Siddharth had pretended to be Aman and behaved badly, making Shehnaaz say no to the marriage. Aman was thrilled that his brother had helped him avoid a loveless marriage.
Siddharth grinned. "Victory is ours, bro! Shehnaaz said no, and we're free from that arranged marriage trap!"
Aman chuckled. "Thanks, Siddharth. You're a lifesaver. I owe you one!"
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz was unaware that she had just fallen victim to a clever scheme, and her father was none the wiser...
Aman walked into the house, whistling a tune, expecting to hear good news from his father. "Hey, Dad! I heard Shehnaaz said no to the marriage proposal. That's amazing, right?"
But his father's expression was stern, and his words left Aman stunned. "Actually, son, Shehnaaz has agreed to marry you."
Aman's jaw dropped. "What?! No, that can't be! She hated me when we met. She said no, didn't she?"
His father shook his head. "I'm afraid not, Aman. Shehnaaz has changed her mind, and the wedding is back on."
Aman felt like he'd been punched in the gut. He couldn't believe Shehnaaz would agree to marry him after the way he (or rather, Siddharth) had behaved. He was trapped, and his last hope had vanished.
"No, no, no! This can't happen!" Aman exclaimed, feeling desperate and cornered.
Siddharth and Aman hatched a plan to continue the charade, with Siddharth still pretending to be Aman. They decided to take it to the next level, with Siddharth (as Aman) telling Shehnaaz that he wanted to meet her again, this time to introduce her to his "family friend", Munshi.
Shehnaaz agreed to meet him, still unaware that she was actually talking to Siddharth, not Aman. But when she arrived at the meeting spot, she was surprised to see Siddharth (still pretending to be Aman) alone, with no sign of Munshi.
"Where's Munshi?" she asked, her eyes narrowing suspiciously.
Siddharth (still pretending to be Aman) looked at Shehnaaz with a piercing gaze. "Shehnaaz, I didn't bring you here to meet my family or to discuss our wedding plans. I want to know why you said yes to me after initially saying no."
Shehnaaz hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But Siddharth's intense eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and she found herself opening up to him.
Shehnaaz was about to reveal the truth -
that she was only marrying Aman because of her father's wishes - when Siddharth (still pretending to be Aman) beat her to it.
"You're marrying me for my money, aren't you?" Siddharth said bluntly, his eyes piercing through hers.
Shehnaaz felt a sting from his words, and her emotions got
